IVE HAND DRAWN 183 SPRITES FOR THIS GAME IM MAKING AND IM NOT EVEN DONE AGHHHHH
HEY HOOOOO! Another character design! This is Queen Gaia, she is the angel leader and despite being a powerful being for the heavens she has earth powers, using crystals and the ground around her when she isn’t using servants or her bladed wings for attacks. I am so SO FREAKING proud of how her outfit came out because I had to mix like 7 different dresses I was referencing together to make it look right. I’ve also never drawn a proper 6 winged angel before so if I did it wrong... God rest my uncultured ass. I’m also very proud of how her facial structure and expression turned out I REALLY need to work on that more so I can have more diverse/dynamic looking characters.
Lemme know what you guys think I could use critiques as I plan on helping make these characters into a fighting game eventually and I really want it to be something special! Thanks for reading!

so. it was a long very long module in uni 😭😭😭 although in reality it was too short BUT we managed to make the coolest, prettiest and cleanest game we ever made lmao !!! this is a game about food festival but not just any food — national food !!
and you can check it out for yourself !!! sadly it's only on russian bc we're a lil team of two students and we do not have the resourses for a translation on english. but you can still play 'cuz all you need to know is how to count numbers hehe )))

Riki is a cute and helpless bird, but that doesn't mean he won't show off some of his acrobatic prowess.
Puzzle time!! Remember, always pay attention to the gravity fields.

With new movement abilities come new challenges.
The new dodge move allows the player to significantly change his trajectory, to dodge hazards or safely land on the destined planet.
After a lot of tweaks and redraws, I finally reached a satisfying (and cute) running animation for the little bird.
The Evil Eye (spiral galaxy NGC 4826) watches over the lost bird as the player begins the second level of the game.
PS: I may consider redrawing or making some touch ups later as it looks a far cry from the amazing image it is based on.

Despite being safer on land, Riki still will have to watch out for the dangerous hazards.
Been making some adjustments in the coding and also decided to give the background a little more attention. Despite it being space, I tried to make it look less empty by adding and making some of the elements bigger.
Started to draw some of the other character that will apear on the game, besides Riki.
Fo now we have Riki's older brother and Johnny, Riki's best friend.
Hello everyone
I’m a newcomer solo game developer and this is the first game I’ve been working for quite some time.
The game is called Flightless Star, and has a pretty unusual gameplay, playing similar to a 2D platformer, but instead of jumping you launch yourself from one planet to the next while dealing with their treacherous gravity fields, avoiding hazards and using your ever increasing movement abilities.
I’ve been working on this game for almost 2 years and there is still a lot to do :'), in the meantime I released a demo to gather feedback and show the idea of the game.

I need to get into mobile game development so I can make puzzle games for middle aged moms. those women deserve better than predatory energy systems and weird fetish ads every 3 seconds. I could be the one to give them something better. I could give them a candy crush clone with SOUL.
