HIII!!! I wanted to get this done sooner but had to transition my brain from "OUTSIDE WOOOO" to "Sit yo ass down BOI" so this took a little...oops? BUT here ya go!!!

Texas-

*Slaps on back of the head* Oh this bad boy can fit SO much trauma

He has a human family but boy is he not human, he’s closer to human than Jersey and Maryland but whatever he is sure ain’t human

LOVES Transformers, the movies, shows, comics, all of it (whata nerd)

He’s very easy to become friends with so long as you give him the chance and you’re not at The Table

He’s a lovable dumbass and if one cannot handle that then one shall not be friends with sir cowboy

Surprisingly friends with New Jersey, they got closer after teaching each other how to cook certain things (Brisket and Pizza)

Adores cuddles, whether he’s big spoon or little spoon, he love ‘em

Is decently good friends with California, they may not agree on everything but the two been slowly learning that you don’t have to be friends with just those that share your same views and beliefs (a hard lesson for both to understand)

Oh you best believe this boy has become super best friends with Alberta, how could he not!? They are literally Walmart him!!

Used to go into the rivers near his home to dive for treasure, almost always found guns, so much so that he had to stop as his collection was a bit too big to take care of them all (he gave some to other states over time)

Oh wait yeah *clears throat* ✨~Guns~✨ 

He loves bats, thinks they are the most adorable little weirdos in the world and will do ANYTHING to protect them

Oh does he love to dance, will always find a victim someone to dance with, somehow always ends up being Oklahoma

He doesn’t really understand hockey but he’s trying (the southern states with teams are making sure of that) and he does understand why it’s popular, it’s the ✨~violence~✨

He will get what he wants, one way or another, no matter how long it takes and if he only has what he wants for a minute or two, he will get it.

My favorite personality is texas being transfem i actually forgot this one for a good bit but yeah i remembered it recently, i like to think the reason she doesn't figure out her dysphoria sooner is because partly she doesn't have that strong dysphoria and just thinks it's general insecurity that everyone has

I also imagine texas just not talking as a kid, i feel they just took a while to get it figured out i also imagine he had a weird voice for some reason

He has perception lens but doesn't use them because he doesn't like the look of them, another optional thing to my theory is that he might need them to drive but still doesn't and when someone finds his license says he needs his glasses they're just like "oh my god you could've killed me!"

He falls asleep right after work, for like 3-4 hours because of his sleep patterns (totally not me and school)

He crochets, i just gave him my one of my hobbies

Transfem Texas is not something I would have thought of and yet it fits so well. Justa dumbass not realizing anything until someone gives a dare to wear a dress and of course Texas would never back down from a dare, so once the dress is on it’s like “…oh shit”

I mean Texases whole thing is guns soo…it would make sense if he was the quite kid, made fun of for his voice being weird and snapped…seems accurate

Blind as fuck Texas is hilarious, no one understands how this man has come so far without his glasses. The best shot in the StateHouse who actually uses guns consistently, best aim just in general for most things, I mean they don’t even ever see him stumble into stuff. Then they are on the road and get pulled over, Texas has someone grab his license for him and BAMB card says like “Yo ass so blind you couldn’t find a nuclear reactor if it wss right in front of ya” and everyone in the car is automatically terrified :D

Texas needs more hobbies than just ✨~Gun~✨ so him crocheting I can get behind. Same with the napping after work, cause let’s be honest here, there is no way that man is on a sleep schedule that is healthy enough to even PRETEND to be a sleep schedule XD

It's not been almost a whole day, I don't know what your on about. Seriously though sorry this is late, I wanted to get it done yesterday but sadly I do have a friend who also likes hockey so, anyway ENJOY!!!

Texas-

He can sing and play the guitar really well

Big ol’ stargazer, was very sad when he realized that the StateHouse wasn’t in the best location to stargaze

He doesn’t agree with a lot of what happens in his state, not that he has much of a choice but if asked in private he makes his opinion pretty known

Will occasionally drink a glass of oil, yea know, for the funnies, the other states are absolutely disgusted, even the ones with oil drilling

He’s never actually done drugs, like it was very tempting at one point but he never actually tried it and doesn’t plan too

Owns a dirt bike and bought a few other southern states one as well to do races

He’s smart, but specifically the stupid kind of smart, the kind of smart that got a super collider built but dumb enough to not be able to convince the government to keep throwing money into the project (this is real, this did happen and I love it so much it’s so interesting)

He doesn’t always dress like he’s a cowboy from the deep south, he actually has a lot of what the NE states call “normal people clothes”, he just prefers to dress like what he is, a gay cowboy

Was the one who started the southern Minecraft server, mainly so he could bomb Oklahomo legally

Can I request more Texas head canons please? Maybe some of which involve his relationships with the rest of the South? Thank you 🖖

I apologize for how long this took, I walked away from the computer for a few hours and then when I remembered I had to do this, I had no idea what to do for Texas BUT I managed (it is pretty short tho whip whomp)

Texas-

Tends to get dragged out by Mississippi and Alabama, doesn’t matter what he’s doing at that time, they don’t give him a choice

He doesn’t like Oklahomo, he just ever so happens to know pretty much everything about him and vice versa

He’ll never admit it but he does have some fidget toys, most of them are just for one hand

The few times he’s sick is normally spent with Tennessee, Virginia, and Oklahomo, because if Texas is sick then so is Okla

Threatens to shoot Florida pretty much every time he dares to just breathe in his direction, it’s all jokes...mainly

Goes woods with Montana when they both have a bad-ish day

Tries stealing Virginia’s photo book with Oklahomo every time they remember how much blackmail material is in there (not that Virginia realizes that)

Got forced into magnet fishing with New Mexico, Arkansas, and South Carolina, the amount of guns he found was hilarious but also ridiculous

Confuses English and Spanish occasionally, so he’ll be in the middle of talking at the table and suddenly is speaking Spanish without realizing it

May I request some Texas and Montana art? I feel like they could be silly cowboy/wilderness friends :D

(I feel like Montana would take one look at Texas and hand over the adoption papers for him to si-*dies*)

I am so sorry this took so long, I had so much trouble figuring out what to do for some reason and then by the time I had time to draw I had to do something else because I said I would. Anyway here, in the end I'm glad that I took time to think this one over cause it's kinda cute won't lie :D

Oooooo yess, Texas was a fun one to think about because I had to think like a southerner slightly, and I live in Jersey lol (granted Jersey gets pretty southern if you go too far but I don't live there)

Texas-

Used to hunt a lot, however with the Table becoming slightly more important in the 2020s he had to slow it down significantly

Has a massive ranch, horses, cattle, chickens, you name it, Texas probably has it

Would actually kill someone (but specifically Cali) if they took his hat, there is no way he is letting Austin be in control for that long

His wires are slightly crossed, hence Austin or literally any of his cities (though honestly the cities being personified depends on the state, Texas has researched this before and it’s not worth asking why, you won’t get an answer)

Guns lol

Will occasionally just cough up oil, it’s not common but it is annoying

He’s not gay, at all, what so ever, he’s just a very straight cowboy livin his life (guess the lie here, hint: he is for sure livin his life and is a cowboy)

He doesn’t hate Oklahomo, he just wishes the absolute best for him and the absolute best is dying

Loves cooking as much as he does hunting, which is a lot, he’ll do it whenever he wants, for basically no reason, it’s a fun hobby for him

Has dinner every other Sunday with Mexico and other Spanish speaking countries, Cali, Arizona, and NM will also join from time to time

He likes history a lot more than people realize, he has to be good at it to say that it’s all fake duh

Hates snow, never wants it ever again, the one time he got snow he doesn’t remember BECAUSE HE BASICALLY DIED MAINE (he’s only slightly dramatic, he didn’t die but it sure did feel like it)

Made Jersey teach him how to make “proper pizza” since he taught him how to make a brisket

He’s tall, like 6’3 tall, he could technically go taller but 6’3 doesn’t make him feel like he’s stretching his skin

If he’s exhausted then he won’t understand a lick of English, he doesn’t get that tired often but when he does it’s turned into a game to see who can get him to bed first (It’s normally Alabama or Oklahomo- I mean homa, Oklahoma)

Went back to high school in the 2000s, an experience he doesn’t know if he regrets or wants to study under a microscope

Has three dogs, they are his babies along with his horses, he fought long and hard to convince Gov to let him have them at the StateHouse even with the no pets rule that like 3 people didn’t follow at the time

Loves Football, obviously, Sunday Football is spent outside with barbeque and the entire south, even if their team isn’t playing

Doesn’t actually hate Cali, he thinks that he’s an idiot and never knows when to shut up but he can admire how smart he actually is even if Texas would never say it out loud, and Austin, Austin was a big reason
