can we normalize talking about how fucking debilitating agoraphobia is cool thanks
aaaaand we're back to square one
emotional dysregulation is so weird because i've been near crisis point depressed all week but now i'm back to being a hyperactive diva just because i put on a new playlist
to the next person that says adhd isn't disabling i wish you a very week of isolation, binge eating, and getting kicked out of your job because executive dysfunction wouldn't let you do your work
reminder to my fellow trans folks that it's okay to hate being trans.
it sucks. it's uncomfortable. it's painful.
trans joy and trans pride is very real and i'm glad it exists, but there needs to be more acceptance for those of us who don't experience it.
i wish people understood how much it hurts to lose memories so quickly
my therapist asked me if i consider myself an anxious person, to which i responded 'no' as if i'm not purposely withholding my worst fear from him bc i'm convinced that if i tell anyone they'll use it to sabotage me
people who've taken birth control (progesterone only) or ssri's to try to deal with pmdd how did it go and is it worth it
You know, not to be an asshole, but I hate that all the stories about eating disorders are about bulimia or anorexia. I have binge-eating disorder and there is not a one story about that. No manga, no webcomics, no films, no nothing. Not a fucking one. It's like bulimia and anorexia are the only eating disorders that exist in the mass consciousness. And it seems to always be contextualized in dysmorphia. Like... maybe I'm just fucked up?? I have BED that resulted from PTSD. (There was a period of fatphobia, though this is distinct).
Having MADD also means that almost every week there's at least one occurence where I'm daydreaming and suddenly I go "and then my only friend in the world betrays me in the worst possible way" and then I start acting it out intensely until I end up bawling my eyes out for like an hour straight and actually wanting to harm/KILL myself over it
And at the end I'm like what the actual hell dude this situation never happened this person doesn't exist you were talking to yourself the entire time no don't harm yourself over that go drink some water you stupid sick idiot
Then I get up and drink water like
Can't believe I'm daydreaming so hard it gives me actual suicide crises I struggle to differenciate from the ones caused by my actual depression, MADD is actually putting me in danger uh
(Only to do it again the next day or something because it's a goddamn addiction)
PMDD is such a weird concept. Ur body is like "Heyyy!!! Our Uterus is going to shed!" and my brains reaction is like: "Ok. Kill yourself."
Like. What the fuck am i supposed to do with that.
sometimes adhd is forgetting where you put your keys but other times it's having executive dysfunction so bad you haven't left the house in weeks, dropping out of work/school because you can't focus on it, cutting people off when the novelty of the relationship fades, and spending all your time binge eating to find the right level of stimulation and i think that needs to be talked about more
