sometimes adhd is forgetting where you put your keys but other times it's having executive dysfunction so bad you haven't left the house in weeks, dropping out of work/school because you can't focus on it, cutting people off when the novelty of the relationship fades, and spending all your time binge eating to find the right level of stimulation and i think that needs to be talked about more
anorexics i am begging you to stop putting your thinspo in the binge eating tags please and thank you
the only reason i'm not an alcoholic is because every alcohol i've tried tastes like absolute ass and i physically can't swallow more than a mouthful
my therapist asked me if i consider myself an anxious person, to which i responded 'no' as if i'm not purposely withholding my worst fear from him bc i'm convinced that if i tell anyone they'll use it to sabotage me
i wish people understood how much it hurts to lose memories so quickly
reminder to my fellow trans folks that it's okay to hate being trans.
it sucks. it's uncomfortable. it's painful.
trans joy and trans pride is very real and i'm glad it exists, but there needs to be more acceptance for those of us who don't experience it.
being a trans man is fucked because people who hate women still hate us for being women but also people who hate men hate us for being men
and the second group says they're actually being good and supporting us and affirming us by hating us, and then everyone agrees, including a whole bunch of other trans people, even including trans men. somehow
grabbing all trans men by the fucking shoulders oh my god. you are allowed to be angry. you SHOULD be angry. you should not have to clarify your words to death, going "i know i dont have it as bad, but-", or put yourself down, "haha yeah, men suck dont we?", you are trans, and you are worthy, and you belong in this fucking community and you deserve to have your voice heard.
trans men get fucking angrier
this is your reminder that just because intersex people, trans men, and people outside of the gender binary are not mentioned in bigoted policies about trans women does not mean that we won't be affected.
attacking the rights of trans women attacks the rights of all people with marginalised gender experiences.
(this statement does not take away from the very real danger these laws pose to trans women, it just highlights another issue that also needs attention. two problems can exist at once.)
