A small rant
I hate how right-wingers try to excuse spreading hateful or ignorant ideas as "just a joke" or "I'm just asking questions". Like they somehow think that jokes or questions cannot be rhetorical.
It's like some people think that ideas just don't affect the real world in any tangible form. Like they are just having a purely theoretical conversation that effects nobody at all.
People on the right need to realize that rhetoric is very capable of inspiring violence. Saying shit like "trans people are groomers" is the kind of shit that gets trans people killed.
And public figures who advocate hateful rhetoric will always try to distance themselves from the consequences of their words, saying shit like "I never said I condone violence", even when violence is the natural logical conclusion of their words. Yall cannot act like implying that Jews run the world is not a call to action to commit violence against them, that is pure bullshit.

the amount of hate iâve experienced as a tman/tmasc is so shocking especially because a lot came from online queers and even other trans folk.
it disheartened me a lot seeing how trans men are treated online, ESPECIALLY by trans people and queers. weâre often forgotten, fetishized, have femininity forced on us, and are treated like villains for wanting to be / being men. even IN queer communities too!!
ive seen a post here on tumblr where someone was trying to vent in a trans discord server about how trans men are treated and usually ignored and erased and other trans people chimed in, telling him that its his fault because âof course he would be. no one wants to be around a masculine manâ.
a trans woman (who used to act on the hate/undermined the hate and discrimination tmen/tmascs go through) once told me on reddit that it often comes from them being uncomfortable with masculinity as a whole so some of them would force it on us then blame us whenever we got upset over the way weâre treated.
i was once even told by a trans medicalist that i wasnt trans because i never experienced dysphoria before and i almost believed them since i didnt know much about trans stuff at the time!! if it werent for the people rightfully calling them out on it and telling me that i could instead have gender euphoria (which i do!!) and if it werent for them i wouldnt have realized that i was trans.
im lucky enough that i dont get much dysphoria or dysmorphia dressing fem still and actually love dressing that way! its just annoying how much its expected of us since we âwere women at some pointâ. weâre fetishized in stereotypically feminine ways (ie: ftm porn often has us bottoming or doing more âfemâ roles)
but then again, all this hate towards tmen/tmascs came from twitter and a subreddit thats well known for hating non binary tmen so LMAO dont know what i expected

I was a teenager when ace and transmed discourses were at their peaks, and I canât exaggerate how badly it affected me then.
Now trans men are the latest target, and Iâm terrified for trans kids.
Itâs easy to say âintracommunity discourse is an online problem! Go talk to queer people irl!â, but people forget that so many kids and teenagers do not have safe or reliable access to IRL LGBT+ communities and support groups. For many, online spaces are the only option.
We need to make sure the younger members of our community are being heard, and block out the hateful voices with messages of support and encouragement. Things are bad enough for trans people right now, and it's easy to forget that trans minors are often the ones suffering the most.
To any younger trans men or transmasculine people reading this:
The hate you are experiencing isnât normal, it hasnât always been like this, and it wonât always be this way. It is bleeding out from a small, miserable group of self-absorbed jerks.
Donât feel obligated to call them out, donât feel like you have to interact with these people. Please donât doomscroll through discourse tags; it will make you feel like everyone is out to get you.
If you want to speak up for your community, thatâs fine, but please take a break if you feel like your mental health is worsening. Block anybody who so much as breathes rudely in your direction.
Youâre just as trans as the rest of us. You are welcome here.

Let's make one thing clear: TERFs at large do not care about women's rights.
That is why they will complain about trans women in sport, but not about how underfunded women's sports are, how women at times are forced to play in revealing outfits for the benefit of investors, or on fake grass, making injuries more likely. It is why they complain about trans women in sport, but not cis male and at times cis female trainers accussed or even charged with sexual assault trainging female teams.
They do not care about women's rights. That is why they explicitly ask cis men who want to commit violence against women in women's brathrooms - to scare off trans women, who never really assaulted anyone. It is, why they will support rapist and domestic abusers, bullying their victims of social media, while also complaining about the supposed inherent danger of trans women.
They do not care about women's rights. That is why they stay silent on fascist regimes trying to persecute women who abort or loose pregnancies, or even on those regimes trying to just receive safe healthcare.
They do not care about women's rights. That is why they do not push for better diagnostic criteria and medication for women - specifically also neurodivergent women, while they fearmonger about what they suppose are "girls forced to be boys".
TERFs do not care about the rights or safety of women. That is why they would rather hunt down a minority, who is far more likely to be victim of all forms of violence rather than the perpetrator, than stand up to those cis men who have assaulted, violated, and at times killed many, many women, and try to make this violence against women legal.
There is a reason why TERFs cheer for men like Trump, and Musk, and those like them. And that is, that they never cared about women's rights to begin with.

medical transition is permanent so you should really consider it thoroughly and put off trying it unless you know for sure. yes, just keep second guessing yourself. 6 months, 3 years, 20 years...
