posting my favourite Mumbo moment from this season since he y'know..
victims run, killers ✨ walk ✨
(song is Killers Walk by Shannon Sheridan and Alden Derck)
Hello! You asked for characters and numbers so, uh, here's some :D
Characters: Scott, Gem, Martyn, Joel, Pearl
Numbers: 5, 3, 6, 4, 10
Oh my gosh Rain thank you sm!!! I got a drawing ask from deityoftherain I feel so famous lol. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to get to all of them right now, but I’ve got one done, and hopefully in the future when I have more time I can do more of them (I'm particularly excited by the one I have planned for Scott, flower husbands my beloved they were literally my first fandom love, so I neeeed to do a piece with them)
but yeah here is my piece for my number 4 song: Sleep, by My Chemical Romance, with Pearlescent Moon
I wanted it to feel like a glitchy and vaguely haunted old cassette tape, because that’s always what I picture when I hear the recording in the beginning of the song. I didn’t quite manage to capture the vibe I was going for, but I’m proud of the drawing overall. Also I messed up the lyrics slightly- it’s good night not good bye -and it’s driving me insane but I don’t have time to fix it lol. Also 4:42 is the length of the song. Ramble about why I chose red pearl for this piece under the cut (I will admit it was something of a coin flip between whether this song would go to Pearl or Joel, but in the end there was another song on the list that I really wanted to use Joel for. Also Joel would never feel bad about the murder lol /silly) vvvvvvvvv
This song feels so Pearl to me because it’s talking all about how haunted the person feels (technically The Patient from the black parade but I just tried to go off of what the individual song is about rather than the album lore) by all of the bad things they’ve done in the past, claiming not to feel bad and saying their irredeemable, while simultaneously condemning themselves and torturing themselves with guilt. They don’t think they’re worthy of being saved because of “the monsters that [they’ve] been” and sort of switching back and forth between a sort of morbid joy at the freedom of giving in to being unforgivable because they don’t have to search for forgiveness and a terrible sorrow and regret and fear at the destruction in their past, the loss that they caused themselves and are now suffering for, the guilt over the people they’ve hurt. They see no redemption for themselves, and feel both pain at the horrors that set them on this path and peace at letting their worst natures consume them, no longer having to try to walk backwards and instead marching forwards on the path of darkness and, if we tie it back to the album lore, the parade of death. If you have to be there, why not take the lead?

just two boys in boats, boying and boating.
That’s all! (Also I know the anatomy and stuff is real…funky, on this one, but idk life is short and I’ve kinda realized that people aren’t really going to react more positively if it’s more polished, so I figure that making everything look perfect isn’t really a great use of my time lol)
hey guys so this is actually literally my favorite thing I’ve ever drawn so I am in fact going to keep reblogging it.
also in other news fill out the Smallishzine interest form please I need this zine to happen. I need to be in it.
I’ve spent an insert adjective here amount of time crafting a real life!zombiecleo fanart to make a magic the gathering pun that no one in a million years will get.
It says unstitched. I am a winner Cleo truther, and I love the un- sets, and I decided to put those two things together. This also ties into my unintelligible headcannons about the life series. Anyway I hope you enjoyed or at least weren’t disgusted by this drawing of Cleo coming apart at the seams ^^

I drew a thing. There is a very complicated and unintelligible headcannon that inspired it but tumblr said I was using too many words so I deleted it but trust me it was beautiful.
I don’t usually draw in this style but I wanted to practice anatomy and shading but tbh I hate it but I prefer it like that cause the other thing I’m working on is a drawing of Joel booping ethostrapod on the snoot and it is way less time and soul consuming but I’m way more proud of it and less work for more reward is rarely a good thing so when it is a good thing idk do a celebratory Macarena and have yourself an ice cream because life is short ice cream is delicious and being healthy is highly overrated.
alt versions under the cut because the hair came out to nicely to be covered up by all those eyeballs

It's interesting how like each of the winners in each iteration of the Life Series can be simplified into caricatures of themselves from the PoV of us the viewers or the deities that I'm not bothered to name but is essential to the lore (cough cough). From each victor and their tragedies forms stories intertwined across participants and other seaons.
Starting with Grian, as the first victor and the organiser of sorts he is like one of isakei tropes but he doesn't get hit by a truck. He is like the playtester or control experiment to see if the games are a success or not, and considering the amount of attention the Life Series garnered during its first season, he was the successful victor pathing for the next to come.
Scott, the winner of Last Life, is the like the poster child of rebellion to the Watcher's perspective. A nuisance that challenges the boundaries of the game but also a player who is still under their influence and can be replaceable in a way. Someone who despite keeping his alliances and promises with his the other participants still wins fairly.
PearlescentMoon on the otherhand is a tragedy in Double Life. With a gimmick that's supposed to pair you with someone compatible and then being rejected by that one someone who was once your teammate would be the first blow to Pearl. But then been surrounded by others who seemingly have their soulmates figured out, it just emphasises the loneliness that you seem to carry. When you finally team again, it's more out of an obligation to survive and conquer over the others. Eventually ending in a dillema where it's only you can win but not both. So essentially Pearl's season was a tragedy of loneliness and isolation that caused by the distrust of others towards her being an omen of death and chaos.
Martyn's arc, compared to Scott was that he was stuck in history. From his time in Dogwarts with Ren influencing his playstyle and his clothing to his time back in Evo, his history just parts Martyn's storyline through Limited Life. Even as he slaughtered the others in the finale in a mindless bloodlust, it was because of his involvment with the Watchers and Listeners that caused him to become the poster-child for the Watchers. A moldable victor for their entertainment.
GTWScar in Secret Life is the misunderstood villian. An antagonisitc force because of the involvement of the Secret Keeper. A playtoy that the uppermanagement used and quickly discarded because of his involvement with Grian. An ever-hopeful force that drags Grian back onto the orbit and away from the Watchers. Yet to him, Grian is the Sun that he captivates him.
Finally Joel or Smallishbeans, he is the uncontrollable and rebellious comedian of sorts that did what Scott couldn't do. He was able to push and persist against the boundaries and didn't fall under the Watcher's influence. He was almost a complete pacifist towards others and his teammate and alliances and only then like the other victors, did he win.

pt.39 lmao 13 more to go of thoeries and headcannions I haven't really watched scotts pov yet so most of my information is like hedacannons and stuff oof unfortunately idk what to write for real life as it kinda being short gives me barely enough information and I havent ven watched cleos pov so even bigger oof
So this being more on the headcannonionus side of theories, but what if the trivia bot in session 5 of Wild Life is that their memories were just constricted or contained that prevented them to remember specific details regarding the questions provided by the trivia bot. like even if they're the same peron, something suppresses past memories leaving it hazy of sorts to recall. with each iteration of the life series, like their memory is reconstructed to the barebones of what is required.

idk bro im just tired
So Joel's car, beating all other celestial beings and other representations has become the defining symbol of his victory by outbeating the other depictions that include Jupiter (black hole too) from celestial beings and charriot from tarot cards (I'm not sure). Compared to all the other symbols of previous winners, Joel's theme is outlandish against all the other astral bodies.
But besides this contradictory stylisation, Joel's symbol does fit his and the cast of the Life Series' rebellion against the higher beings or the Watchers. With Wild Life being more passive compared to seasons like Limited Life or Last Life, the main objective could be boiled down to surviving against the enviornment/nature compared to surviving against players. With these wildcards that proved to be deadly even when peaceful, the players objectives were mainly on surviving together then compared to antagonizing each other until around the last sessions where PvP was mandatory to win. This would've angered the Watchers with the disruption of their eight week-long feast. So the symbol could be a lasting effect of a Fuck-you to the Watchers by playing unprecedentedly but still winning.
But another instance of definace is earlier in the Life Series where death and betrayal was rampant in Last Life yet Scott still remained loyal and disregarded the laws of the Boogeyman. And yet even as the Watchers tried to punish him, he still won fairly gaining him the representation of not just a singular star, but whole star systems. Him being an embodiment of the possibility of the players to rebel against the system that brought them there. Him being the person that planted the seeds of rebellion that sprouted into Joel with depictions of his car in multiple fanarts (I can't find rip) of essentially crashing the Watchers and leaving them in disarray.

pt 37 thrs and hdcnns im back
Ever since Third Life, Joel has be considered as the madman or wildcard of the Life Series considering his polar behaviours ranging from domestic to deranged whilst remaining isolated as a solitary team for the majority of the first few seasons. But where did his madness originate from for the subsequent seasons followig Third Life?
While watching Marytn's Third Life collection of combined episodes, Joel ever so states "If you're the red king then I can turn into the mad king" during the recruitment of Dogwarts pioneered by Ren ad Marytn. Possibly kickstarting his descent into madness when he joined the Desert Alliance breaking the seal that released the curse of insanity.
The following season of Last Life only insinuated his madness due to his drive to team alone and the introduction of the Boogeyman and premature bloodlust.
But yet as the seasons progressed, his amount of teammates grew from his duo with Etho as the Boat Boys, his trio of "brothers" of the Bad Boys and finally the Mounders which included Pearl, Bdubs, Mumbo and himself.
This all leads to Wild Life where although his faction only consists of Gem and himself, Joel has managed to succeed through countless obstacles through his journey overcoming his madness and channelling it into motivation to win whilst also protecting his "family".

pt 35
So I've been rewatching Third Life from Martyn's perspective and not even in the first session Martyn essentially institutes the beginning of essentially everything major in all seasons of the Life Series from the instigator of curses and creator of storylines, Martyn has been the intiator for all of them. He has never been more essential to the history of the Life Series lore wise then his involvement in Third Life.
Not even in the first five minutes of the Life Series, Martyn already foreshadows the Canary Curse that haunted Jimmy until Secret Life. at 2:58 of his Third Life: The Movie, Martyn gives BigB the role of his canary with BigB stating "I'm with you in spirit" moments prior. Elluding to Jimmy's endeavour to stay and comfort those subsequent fallen after his final demise and Grian's task and Secret Life that brought him back in the astral realm.
Besides the alluding to the Canary Curse, Martyn's ability to replicate and emulate sounds from the natural enviornments and mobs as a Listener allowed him to travel across the boundaries of the world meeting and scaring people from his imitation of creeper sizziling. Which lead him to meet Ren and establishing Renchantyn as their official spokesperson. Proclaiming enchanting for those who needed in the village where majority of the participants were gathering. Spoking them with his creeper noises as the night drew nearer. Yet after all this and their "guards were down" Grian did a little prank that would change the course of the series. Resulting in Scar's demise of the whole season and kickstarting Desertduo and the fued between Dogwarts and the Desert Alliance.
To quote Mumbo, "Cross-season beef" is an understatement to the relationship between Scar and Grian all because of Martyn and his Listener superstitions and powers.
___
Pt 34
With the shattering of the Canary curse that used to cling to Jimmy throughout the Life Series, a new curse or mantle has emerged known as the "Spider (Black Widow)" that has chosen Grian as its vessel. It's been like that ever since Limited Life, where Grian has consistently being the last one eliminated from his team.
As spiders are commonly known for producing delicate pieces of webbing to capture prey or the unfortunate, it fits Grian and his inherent responsibility over the Life Series. Every teammate of his from the Badboys, Roomies and the Spanners has tread the web of uncertainty and fallen prey to the predator that is Grian. Acting as a false support or friend until the final endgame where Grian conicidently outlives them and directly moves onto a different team to join them (with the exception of Secret Life where his alliance was killed in the finale with him). Seemingly to catch new prey for a larger feast.
Even his latest defensive build of the tower in Wild Life where he dubbed it as "The Spider's Nest" where both his teammates died essentially wraps Grian's arc of being the inheritent of the "Black Widow" curse and catching his teammates from his own doing.

So one of the most lore-indepth wildcards of Wild Life would be the superpowers that relates past seasons of the Life Series and acknowledges other series (eg. Hermitcraft and Evo) and their personal lore to attribute to each participant's power.
Starting alphabetically,
Bdubs power is essentially all related to time and his ability to manipulate the day cycle expentially. With the clock being his main motif across all Life Series, the ability to slow and speed time according to his will is easily solvable but with the inclusion of the Hermitcraft and Empires crossover event, his ability to speed time according to his sleep schedule becomes another layer deep. Besides the clock being a main symbol for Bdubs, the concept of sleep is another that has essentially been from the beginning of Hermitcraft. Always carrying a bed and sleeping whenever. The Empires crossover Bdubs was framed as a god of sorts of the Sun. Always bright and always there when the Sun remained as its brightest.
Bigb can summon creaking. He creaking. He is like a king or dimplomant to the players who invade their home and they view him as their kin so he has the responsibility and power to summon them.
Ethoslab based of Kakashi from Naruto is by definition a ninja. An escapee or fugitive at best. So with his ability to jump higher boosted by wind charges can be explained by his connection to the shonen series and the inclusion of the mace could be chalked up to typically stories of protagonists gaining resources or inventory to defeat the "Big Bad" or achieve some sort of goal that is to win the Life Series.
GeminiTay or GeminiSlay named by others intimidated by her, has slayed each participant brutally in the Life Series and on Hermitcraft rewarding her the reputation from her immense PvP skills. So with her power of astral projection, it acts retribution for the slayed to talk and apologise or instigate to those dead for her or others benefit.
GoodTimeWithScar is nortorious for being not PG friendly so the inclusion of one of his powers been the ability to ride people, it's self explanatory. Yet as Scar is commonly associated with and as a vex, his other powers of extreme knockback and thorns can be explained by the hostile and aggressivness of the mob.
Grian as essentially the grandmaster or orchestrator of the Life Series would have access to all the powers and mimic but not fully copy the others' powers. Yet because of his power chained by an omnipresent force, he's unable to fully copy the powers but imitate them for only short periods of time.
ImpulseSV and his teleportation powers could derive from his cyber-theme aesthetic for his Hermitcraft Season X base. With most series of fictions based around cyberpunk civilisations, technologies like teleporation and other advanced transportational devices are commonly utilsed. Resulting in Impulse's power of teleportation and the ability to swap the position of another with himself.
Martyn power is boosted hearing cause he's a Listener.
So Lizzie or LDShadowLady's inflicts blindless or a shadow upon the surrounding people in her radius and resulting her in temporary invisibility and blindess to others around her. But from her endless descent into the void in Secret Life, arises Lizzie with trails of the void clinging to grasp the light of the overworld. Causing the void remnants to spread to others and infect them with blindness in all for the hope to spread towards the light from the cold world of the End.
With the ability to fly, PearlescentMoon carries aesthetics relating to Greek mythology in both her powers and external design choices. As one of the Postmasters of Hermitcraft, Pearl is essentially the builder and additional redstone help of the trio for the postoffice and other aesthetic designs. Hermes the herald or messenger of the Olympus gods delievers messages to other celestial dieties and mortals similar to Pearl's jobs as a Postmaster. Other than the similar professions, both Pearl and Hermes wear a petasos which is essentially a wide-brimmed hat that is commoly adorned for shade and for Hermes, additional wings to the sides of the hat. Symbolising their shared ability to fly quickly and efficiently for a purpose.
As RentheDog is commonly interpreted as a dog-hybrid of sorts by the Hermitcraft and Life Series community, his ability to splice and copy the DNA of others to match their appearance could be an aftermath or positive side-effect from his hybrid mutation.
Similar to Ren, Scott has the capability to transform into any mob in sight and similar to Limited Life where he was depicted as a siren as part of the Mean Gills. His ability to shape-shift into any mob regardless if it's passive or aggressive could be similar to his mutliple origins from New Life SMP and Origin SMP and the reflect the changing nature of his powers.
So Joel with essentially triple jump could be hinting his slimely origins of his Shrek skin in the swamp. Where the swamp generally spawns slimes at a higher rate than other slime chunks and slime blocks harvested from the slimes can be used as jump boosts. Resulting in the triple jump.
After just breaking the Canary Curse two seasons ago, SolidarityGaming or Jimmy has the power to turn fully invisible until someone or something damages him. Ever since his debut to the Watchers back in Evo, Jimmy has been under constant surveillance by the Watchers as an object of their amusement. Always failing to reach even the finale and fumbling to keep alive. Yet when he broke the curse and relayed it too another, he was discarded. Seen invisible to the Watchers as he had become an object of boredom by reaching his resolution. So that's where his invisibility comes from.
Tango with his cowardly approach to things, has constantly ran away from situations but with this power, it supercharges his speed allowing him to become part of the fight and conflict instead of running away. And with his ability to frost-walk on ice, it could recall his Season 9's skin back when he was the Dungeon Master in Decked Out II and became an icy persona.
ZombieCleo and resurect dead people as she's a reanimated zombie.

part 32
im tired
So the finale of Wild Life finished around a week ago and essentially Joel pummeled through the final five remaining contestants and ultimately taking the crown as the victor for the sixth (seventh) season of the Life Series and with the final wild card being a culmination of all the previous wildcards except the randomized hunger, it's a safe assumption that the Watchers considered this season a delicious successor to Secret Life.
With 18 members participating that garnered over 180 deaths (186), those dieties who watch over each and every season of the Life Series called the Watchers feast upon the chaos and grief emanating from the pain originating from the players and the multitude escapades caused by the series of wildcards and the improptu angst and interactions between alliances and allies. Although the Watcher's prescence isn't as prominent as Secret Life, (cough cough Taskmaster) there's still details and other aspects of the Watchers incorporated into Wild Life.
Some of these aspects could include the wildcards. As Grian the creator or constructor of the Life Series in general, as control and power over the orchestrated aspects of the Life Series. Like the wildcards, tasks and twists similar to the power of the Watchers. As watchers, the Watchers are able to probe and instigate but not directly influence the players like Scar and his tasks in Secret Life.
Take the immortal snails. Beings of incapable power able to break the player constraints and move in unncanny ways all in the conquest to murder the linked player taken in the form of a snail. An animal nortorious for its slowness and naivete commonly portrayed by popular media has the highest kill count throughout the whole season. Inspired by the theory from the Rooster Teeth Podcast in 2014 that was later popularised by a Reddit post in 2016, the whole premise is that you gain immortality and one million dollars in exchange for an immortal snail that indefinately hunts after you as it itself is also immortal. Tying in with greed and the gain of money all in trade for the eternal worry of death that lurks all around you. Threatening your legacy built from one step of carelessness.
Yet other aspects of the Watchers continue to persist into the subsequent sessions of Wild Life. Like the Trivia Bot. A gameshow-like bot that is most likely inspired by Mettaton from Undertale, suits with the Watchers' polar behaviour of sparking fun, distrust and a precursor to the chaos to the finale. Yet all this fun cluminates to the finale where the chaos continues to rise to the pinnicle of the season where all but one wild card are mushed together for one minute and 45 sec where it stops. And a message of "The ending is yours... Make it WILD" would be the second season in a row of the Watchers or some other external force signifying the beginning of the end.
____
so ye here my summary of the watchers influence over wild life
(write side tangent about spider grian later )
So finale is going out in around eight hours and yet the pacing of Wildlife leaves many participants as potential winners for the sixth installment of the Life Series. But I'm willing to bet that Tango has the possibility of being the winner of Wild Life.
Being the notorious coward of the Life Series, Tango has managed to place an average placement of 11th across all seasons of the Life Series. But with each progression of the series, each Lifer's skill in PvP, gathering and teaming has drastically improved over the three years since Third Life.
This is especially prevelent with Tango with his cowardly stratagies that allow him to avoid conflict until the climax of each season but it's different in Wild Life. With the two major teams of the Extended Family and the G's, the Tough Guys that include Bdubs, Etho and Tango are able to stay out of the sidelines and avoid majority of the conflict due to their red life and relatively peaceful alliances.
Adding on to his avoiding nature, Tango was able evade majority of the server in the previous session of Wild Life just for his green life. So with his avoidance nature and strategic alliance Tango just might be able to achieve first place.
Tango's bloodlust and rage has always been a key characteristic in his character development over the multiple seasons of the Life Series. Yet these bloodlusts didn't always end in successful kills or fulfilling chaos that momentairily quenched the growing influences of his last life. Moments like the Double Life rage where he retaliated with a warden which backfired and attacked them instead of the intended targets of Scar and Grian.
These continuous mishaps and failures conglomerated and dominoed into an overload of frustration and botched killings where it was all released in session 5 of Wild Life where Tango killed both lives of Joel. His first kill from a mace, gifted a Trivia Bot was used to mace Joel retrieving his yellow life again. Yet even after the influences of redlust would be gone, he still hunted for Joel. Eventually gaining another life in trade for Joel's life.
___
I honestly dont know what I was doing with this one
So only three episodes into Wild Life and already manslaughter has occured. Tying with Third Life and Double Life for first red, Skizz continuously returning to red three times and being only third to most deaths in a session to Limited Life at it's final two sessions. That's insane. Only an eleven death difference between session three of Wild Life to session eight, the final session of Limited Life.
With this amount of bloodshed and murder since Limited Life, the dieties starving from their fuel deprived from them are finally quenched through the chaos and dissary triggered by the dozens of deaths causing by the harbringers of death. From their prodigies who conducted multitudes of destruction and slaugher through every rendition of Third Life, the Watcher's hunger and strive to satisfy their bottomless appetite for chaos caused their need to be only alleviated. Fueled by the obessesion and excitment gained from the suffering of the contestants.
As with the current seasons arrives new plots and twists to the main gimmick and lore, Wild Life's new gimmick is that there is a new gimmick every session. Each session of Wild Life so far has tripled each death count and with the inclusion of each personalised snail in seassion three, deaths skyrocketed to THIRTY-SEVEN deaths. Each snail acting as an individual catalyst for the Watchers' addiction towards the demise of each participant. But this obsession would be the eventual end of the Watchers.
How long until the lives run out and the Watchers' only source of excitment and energy disappears. Their reliance and dependacy on the players is their downfall. After every game, every session the players understand and adapt to the Watchers' everygrowing starvation. It's until the last remains, the last game is won and their buffet is over. They only being able to fast on the legacy and memories trapped inside the minds of the scarred.
Yet the legacy and aftermath of the actions of the Watchers could be the reserved food source that can supply them with the lasting food source to continue watching and manipulating the stories of the damned and suffering. Session three, Skizz managed to return to red three seperate times. Slaughtering the other contestants to gain back his immunity and innoence from the blood of his allies. Through his actions, the Watcher's legacy is kept alive as the final food source. Through the memories and influence of the Watchers, they might not even be close to their end.
Aight ranting time, can we appreciate how revolutionary Double Life was for the Life Series fandom.
The introduction of the soulbound mechanic introduced another potential method to interact and collaborate with different members of the community. In the previous canon Life Seires, most alliances were built of the members previously collaborating or being close friends (for majority of alliances, and this is not discounting that all the participants of the Life Series weren't already friends), but with the randomized pairing of Double Life, it forced new collaborations and interactions. Resulting in the mechanic transferring into the fandom's version of their Double Life, Woven Life.
Involving dozens of participants from authors, artists and animators such as rusty_courage, cherrifire, xmaruu, kitsuneisi, mudboowl etc.
(Non RPF)
But what stirred up the fandom into an absolute frenzy was the shipping potential of Double Life. We had Box Boys (Ren and BigB), the Homewreckers (Bdubs and Impulse) which were previously a ship in Hermitcraft and the Divorce Quartet (Pearl, Martyn, Scott and Cleo) which were pretty substanial new pairs but don't scale to the sheer amount of popularity the subsequent pairing recieved/s.
We got Scarlet Pearl which is not a ship but a fan favourite persona with her pairing with Tilly.
We got Boat Boys which are Joel and Etho which was a due no one initially expected but blew up to the fascinating dynamic they had.
Then we got Desert Duo again after the escapades of Third Life which produced lore upon lore of angst and tension which further fueled the shipping train for Scarian.
And finally we got the Ranchers, Team Ranchers or Rancher Duo consisting of Tango and Jimmy. Another pair the fandom did not expect but are instantly attached to. The amount of potential and ideas from this duo grew in number from their light-hearted dynamic to the angsty moments in the subsequent sessions was intense. Lore-wise, their pairings were eventually reunited during the Hermits x Empires Crossover in Season 9.
So basically Double Life was big for the Life Series fandom.
So this Life Series theory is that Gem's and Lizzie's substitution as Cleo and Pearl respectively were a sort of testing by the Watchers for new contestants in Limited Life.
For some context, in session six, Limited Life, ZombieCleo and PearlescentMoon were unable to participate in that particular session and so GeminiTay and LDShadowLady substituted for them resulting in many shenanigans and deaths.
So this theory basically stems from the fact that both Gem and Lizzie become participants in the next season of the Life Series with Lizzie returning for her second season and Secret Life being Gem's first official season.
Through the amount of bloodshed, betrayal and overall chaos harvested throughout Limited Life, the Watchers decided to run a small experiment. To test new contestants without any context and transport them to the confined world of Limited Life and see how well they would adapt and generate chaos that the Watchers could feed of. So then these two subjects were Gem and Lizzie who sprouted and developed seeds of chaos by Gem being the Canadian gremlin she is and Lizzie with the Grian kill.
The Watchers deemed their presence worthy to summon them to the next installment of the Life Series, Secret Life.
So this theory is basically how Real Life is Third Life created by the Watchers as a punishment for Grian and his group of friends or the other contestants.
After the success of the previous Life Series games that provived enough pain, anguish and drama to satisfy the Watchers, they decided to create a rendition of Third Life to torture Grian once again as afterall by lore standards, it was Grian who first created Third Life.
The twist the Watchers decided to implace onto Real Life where to incoporate compeititors such as Pearl who had a persona who would be easily influenced by bloodlust and dispose of the competitors that they had deemed too weak or ineffecient. This was all done in an attempt to replicate the feeling of torture and anguish at Grian and the other original contestants during Third Life.
But this ultimately failed as Real Life ended quickly through the combined efforts of the contestants crowning Cleo as the new victor. Completing the sextet of winners all linked together through their soul-link bonds. And having the Watchers fail in their endeavour to replecate Third Life as another death game punishment.
So the members who currently interact and talk with Grian from the members of Evolution SMP include Jimmy (Solidarity Gaming), Martyn (InTheLittleWood), BigB (bigbst4) and Pearl (PearlescentMoon). And these listed people (their online personas ofc) all have connections and links to the lore of the Life Series and more specifically the Watchers who also originated from the Evo Smp who then migrated to the Life Series (Secret Life).
My theory is that through their efforts of the attempted retrival of Grian and restorement of Evo after the Ender Dragon fight, the Watchers cursed them with their curses revealing or unearthing themselves during the Life Series.
These curses include :
Jimmy - The Canary Curse, (a curse set into a player's code to remind them of the tradegy they bring and the warnings they provide)
Martyn and Pearl - Insanity (a curse brought upon those who protected the weak idk)
BigB - A Tragedy Upon Those Around Them (the curse for the one who cared too much)
A note for Martyn is that his insanity only occurs momentairily and in bursts when compared to Pearl because of his connections to the Listeners who rescued him during the stage when the curse was becoming permanent in the code. Only altering the curse to happen in weaker bursts and sporadically.
Adding into headcannony ideas, the curses established cant be removed either manually from an admin or a defective Watcher. This is because the curse or the code was established so long ago thats its been incorporated and permanetly embodied in the player's code.
So ye the curses of Evo on the remaining members. :D
