12th doctor and clara

One of my first digital drawings ever and the best ship in doctor who (don't accept other answers. Yup. This is a dictatorship, my friend)

So sorry to keep going on about Doctor Who but I find it really interesting in the revival era (2005 onward) that it's always hammered home that the Doctor is the last of the Timelords. But it's almost never talked about that they are NOT the last of the Gallifreyan's.

Because we know that timelords are the high society dudes that went to college and are granted regenerations and all that. And yeah, when the Doc ended the Time War they destroyed all of Gallifrey, including all the regular people.

However, we seem to have forgotten the Sisterhood of Karn chilling on another planet.

They're basically the Gallifreyan equivalent to nuns and they protect the Sacred Flame and all that, but they're still around. The 12th Doctor even went to them looking for help during "The Magician's Apprentice", and they reappeared later that season in "Hell Bent."

So what I'm saying is even though Gallifrey was destroyed for the billionth time, we could have seen 13 go and hang out during the "Timeless Child" arc to try and recenter herself. Maybe 15 can go since he's so much more in tune with his past than previous incarnation.

I looked at the gifs shared in discord server and my hand grabbed a pencil to draw some Twelve

Doctors and emotions. Some kind of study? But also to rest a little from big arts, when hands itch to draw anyway. I LOVE drawing emotions

Little art trade with @rumple04 of Twelve in national clothes. With were supposed to be stereotypical, but in my case ended up being historical russian outfit! Meet Stepan, his new companion. Not sure Clara appreciates such company 😅

The 12th and 11th Doctors are opposites. We see 11 at first all bright and bubbly, but in series 7 we see a darker, more apathetic side of him, while with 12, he starts a gruff old, serious man, but by series 10 is more of a fun grandpa with Bill.

Well, I really like the entire scene of the 12th Doctor regeneration in the 13th Doctor, the speech, the instrumental music and Peter Capaldi's acting is so good!

If it’s alright can you do a platonic headcanon of any Doctor Who character’s/ regenerations you’d like meeting a reader who’s like a sky kid. From Sky:Children of light and how’d they react to reader being really friendly and trying to befriend them with a candle. As well as trying to guide them around and drag them away from potential danger (like if they feel a krill is nearby)

This is a great request! Thanks, @themagicspacenerd! I’ve decided to do multiple regenerations and companions, most notably the twelfth Doctor, the eleventh Doctor, the tenth Doctor, and Clara. Just for fun, they’re all in the same time period and location for these headcanons. What can I say, I love a good crossover.

The twelfth Doctor nearly walked past the child but stopped once he realized what he’d just seen, raising an enormous bushy eyebrow.

Similarly, Eleven walks past- but unlike Twelve, who stops where he’s standing, Eleven bounces back to meet the child’s eyes. “Hello there!”

Ten sees the child from a distance and gets out his sonic screwdriver to scan them. The child misinterprets this as him holding out a candle and asking to be friends.

Before the child can get out a candle, Clara walks up. Her face lights up as she says hello and compliments the child on their cape. “Are you pretending to be a superhero?”

The child doesn’t answer but finally manages to get out a candle and holds it out to Ten.

“What’s this?” Ten comes closer and, as the child reaches the candle out, touches his sonic screwdriver to the candle. The light travels through the sonic screwdriver until the whole thing shines. The light slowly fades.

The child looks up, studying Ten’s face, and Ten realizes they couldn’t see the details of his face before.

Ten tells everyone to touch a light to the child’s candle and they do.

The child perks up once they can see everyone’s face, and they put both hands to their chest in an expression of gratitude.

Bonus: “Oi!” Donna yelps as the child drags her away from a weeping angel. “Where exactly do you think you’re taking me?”

Don't ask where this idea came from it kinda feels like a fever dream.

Just going to yeet nonsense into the void so it stops taking up room in my head:

12 remembers Clara at the end of his life, is overcome by such a strong impression (around 2 and a half series) of girlboss energy that he returns to what is best described as earliest known (in-universe) settings. There's possibly thoughts about Missy there too.

13 can be very inconsistent in opinions, I like that she genuinely seems to hate the Master though. Other New Who doctors were all, "Noooo..... you were my best friend, you can be good!" This is good, but 13 thinks the one version of the Master she had gotten through to just ran away and abandoned her.

Throw in a Master who's seemingly regressed to all-out mania as a coping mechanism after getting hurt as Missy, and their dynamic makes more sense.

The comment regarding de-cloaking the Master around the Nazis was still seriously fucked up. I genuinely wonder what the writers of that era were on half the time.

Flux was pretty fun, though.
