I know a few people like this... such individuals usually wear me out.😅
frank castle + tumblr text posts
Knowing how mischievous Yoda can get, I'm willing to bet he gave Obi-Wan the idea, or at least hinted at it, knowing full well he'd follow through, and is now enjoying the results along with Mace.🤣
after the war ends, Obi-Wan desperately wants to quit the Council, but Mace keeps rejecting his resignations
so Obi-Wan decides to take matters into his own hands: if he can’t resign formally, he’s going to get himself kicked off
he starts by showing up to Council meetings intoxicated, and wearing increasingly outrageous (and frequently revealing) clothing
when his own efforts fail to get any reaction out of Mace, he recruits outside assistance
he sends Anakin wearing a fake beard and mustache to attend as him (which has the side benefit of convincing Anakin that he never, ever, wants anything to do with the Council)
Cody attends wearing Obi-Wan’s clothes and lightsaber, but making no other attempt to disguise himself
Quinlan breaks in during a meeting, makes out with Obi-Wan for two minutes straight, then smashes through a window to make his daring escape
Ahsoka does her best Hondo impression and shows up to kidnap Obi-Wan in the middle of a session, with Rex and the Bad Batch (in their normal, full armor) as her dastardly pirate crew
and while certain members of the Council are outraged, Obi-Wan still can’t even get Mace to consider his resignation
of course, Mace isn’t going to tell Obi-Wan that his efforts have backfired: this is the most entertainment Mace has had in YEARS, he’s wasn’t letting Obi-Wan quit before he started this, and now at least half the reason is that he wants to see what Obi-Wan’ll try next
I'm afraid this mystery may never truly be solved... but I imagine this is likely true, and I wouldn't be surprised if he occasionally teased them about it, too.😆
Okay but wait
If you and someone from the Bad Batch (excluding Hunter) were having sex in the middle of the night, would Hunter be able to sense it in his sleep and would he wake up?
Or like does he always know when everyone is horny?
Does he know when not to go into the bunk area because someone is busy in there?
Why is this so ACCURATE?🤣 To be fair, though, they are aloud (even encouraged) to care, they just have to put the good of all first... but this is still hilarious.
The Jedi code: No attachment! No romantic partners! No family!
Anakin sneeking off to meet up with Padme after a night out with the 501st, whilst hiding adoption papers for Ashoka: What attachments? No attachments hear!
Obi Wan sat on Cody's lap whilst waiting for a message from Satine: Be mindful of the code padawan.
Aayla removing herself from Bly's face for 0.5 seconds: What did you say?
Kit Fisto waiting to call Aayla and Bly so they can meet up for date night: You must listen to master Yoda, attachments are dangerous.
Ploo koon and Shaak Ti surrounded by clone younglins as they fill out adoption forms for the entire army: Emotions are not the Jedi way.
Depa Billap tucking Caleb into bed: You must learn to let go of your feelings.
Quinlan Vos in the middle of checking in with Aayla and having given Bly the shovel talk: Listen to Obi Wan, he's usually right.
Mace Windu sitting worriedly at medical waiting for news on his injured men: As Jedi it is are duty to follow the code.
if you want to actually truly support autistic rights, you need to accept the fact that many autistics will forever and unchangeably be wildly socially incompetent, and this does not make them bad or dangerous.
Loving these ideas! Maul, Obi-Wan, and Mace would all be great options... but we're probably not gonna know who it is for a while (at least I hope not, let the show run for a good while, please!😥).
Everyone has been speculating about who our mysterious cloaked figure is in ep six of TBB. There’s been some pretty good guesses but I think I can narrow it down some more.
First of all, Rafa addressed the figure as “him”, which means that our mystery man is, in fact, a man. I’m very sorry to disappoint y’all but I think that rules out Ahsoka.
Rafa assumed that all clones worked for the Empire now, and almost seemed to hold a bit of malcontent towards them. Her ignorance seems to disprove that she could be working with Rex, because he is also a rogue clone and Rafa would know better if they were working together.
Rex is a soldier. If he wanted that tactical droid he would have done it himself. Plus, my man wears skirts, not cloaks. So yeah it’s probably not Rex either *sad and horny noises*
But do you know who would send two inexperienced and ill-equipped civilians to get something he wouldn’t want to get himself? Maul. I’m not the only one saying this. Consider: 1) He isn’t very fond of the Empire. 2) The music, Rafa’s facial expression… it all seemed a little sinister. Just a little. 3) Rafa and Trace have a history with working for people without asking questions or thinking about consequences (though tbh they seemed to have learned from past mistakes + Ahsoka). And 4) Maul loves to wear cloaks that conceal his face until it is time for a dramatic reveal.
Summary: I know it’s probably not Maul but I want it to be so I am grasping at straws
Some people have said it could be Bail, and yeah he seems like an obvious choice. Too obvious. Star Wars throws Bail Organa cameos out like Halloween candy. He’s in literally everything. So though it sounds mean, mystery man’s identity seem too dramatic and important for Bail (harsh). Or I’m just overthinking.
My personal prediction? It’s Obi Wan. Cloak. I’m surprised no one has suggested him yet. He fits all the boxes. Fighting against the Empire. Could know Trace and Rafa through Ahsoka. Pursuing Separatists intel for the right reason. Had to send people to get the intel for him because he’s in hiding or babysitting or both. Would def want to know about some rogue clones.
Anyways this post took up way too much of my time and your feed but I just wanted to say that unfortunately I don’t think out mystery man is Ahsoka or Rex. But that doesn’t mean we won’t see them soon!
I also could be Mace Win- aahh I need to stop I’m going to bed
Anyone else notice that when Hunter said that they are "CT 99s", Gregor said "defective clones"? As in that's what being a CT 99 means?
One particular clone's name just went from odd (and perhaps a bit interesting) to sad (and me wanting to punch whatever clone named him that).
Saw your asks were open! Don't burn yourself out with answering, please.
So, a thing I've heard sometimes is autistics having a low "mental age". Both from people in my school* and more influential sources that make out autism as a tragedy. As small news articles and ableist teenage boys aren't the best sources, I'm asking you! Do (some) autistic people actually have "lower mental ages" or is that a complete myth?
("I wish I had autism so I could also get benefits." "Dude, do you want to be four years old for the rest of your life?" That type of thing.)
This is very factual, but with a major caveat: it's not the mental age. It's that we don't adhere to social norms and will continue to enjoy or act in ways seen as younger.
I collect stuffed animals and have a toy box full of colouring books and stim items. I also don't dress my age and wear jeans and Disney t-shirts.
Not all Autistics do this. Some act older than they are. Some have intellectual disabilities that NTs deem as "child like" (they're not... They're adults with intellectual disabilities. Not an adult with the mind of a 4 year old.)
So, yes. But with lots of reasons.
Everyone else seems to have their soapbox lately when it comes to Star Wars and representation, so here's mine.
On Autism representation.
I can't think of many examples, but the two that spring to my mind are Thrawn and Tech from TBB. In my opinion, I think they are both done well.
I haven't seen much complaining about Thrawn, but the Tech posts have been rampant. Saying he's tone-deaf, unfeeling, robotic, and misses the point frequently. People have said that this is bad representation. The thing is, that is how Autism can present itself, especially in someone that has been more socially isolated. Something that Tech experiences. His social life is limited to the rest of TBB (which all have various aspects of neurodivergency themselves) , Kaminoans (who are an entirely different species and culture that are also isolated), and the other Clones (who have been shown to treat TBB badly).
I see so many traits in him that I see in myself, my family, and a friend of mine. All of these people fall somewhere on the Autism spectrum. Because that's what Autism is, a spectrum. Everyone experiences it differently.
-leg bouncing when he's anxious
-info-dumping
-meticulously collecting information about topics that he's interested in
-not understanding "it's a feeling" in relation to flying
-frustration when things aren't going according to plan and when the things they are supposed to do are interrupted
-seemingly tone-deaf direct comments on what he sees
-focusing on what's important to him and ignoring other things around him
Everytime he does one of these things, I smile to myself, because I feel seen. The reactions of others around him are so accurate as well. Hunter rolling his eyes/shaking his head. Wrecker saying "yeah yeah we know". I've experienced those reactions my whole life.
Before you criticize representation, and automatically assume that it's bad because it might not be perfect, consider the opinions of those represented. Not their family members, not health professionals, not what you think it is.
Also that ableism term you all like to throw around? Dismissing the experiences of those with the conditions you're critiquing because they don't fit into your narrative is far more ableist than the thing you think is bad.
I definitely don't want to see Spider harmed, he's a sweet kid and deserved far better than what he's been getting, both in and out of universe, and he did nothing wrong.
That said, the Sully's aren't gonna see it that way.
Granted, you're right about Spider, he didn't betray anyone, and he saved the life of someone that showed he cared... during a hostage situation, sure, but it's more than the kid usually gets, and even without that, he likely would've saved the jerk anyway, because SPIDER IS NOTHING LIKE HIS FATHER. (well, maybe the same capably crazy energy, but that's it)
BUT, the Sully's have been dealing with this psycho Colonel's bullshit for too long already, they've lost so many of their community and family, the whole famn damily done with this man, and they thought they were rid of him... only for Spider to save him.
I still say he's not wrong for it, but the Sully's are equally not wrong to be mad about it, though they would be wrong for trying to kill him for it (I'm looking at you, Neytiri).
Since everyone assumes the worst if and when the Sullys find out Quaritch is alive because of our boy Spider. Let's think this through.
He didn't betray them. They betrayed him and left him to Quaritch. He had every right to save someone who saved him from torture.
If anything this is a chance for the Sullys to reward his loyalty and love because he could have chosen to go with him but he didn't.
Quit wanting Lo'ak to kill his best friend. Quit wanting Netyri to kill a boy who just wanted to be apart of their family and endured torture for them.
I swear there is something deeply wrong with this fandom.
Yes I talk, or rather text, too much. I mostly just add my two cents to other posts, but I'll try not to where it's not welcome.
