Yellow is Kaz’ favourite colour.

Not some bright and neon yellow but a soft, somewhat golden, type of yellow. The yellow you would spot faintly in a sunset, the yellow that reminds him of the days as a child watching that very sunset with his family, the yellow you could spot faintly on Matthias’ hair when the sun hit it just right, the yellow spotted in small specks throughout Nina’s eyes as she smiled widely- a teasing and caring smile, the yellow found surrounding Wylan with a soft glow as he laughed and shone with pure emotion, the yellow that glints in front of Kaz’ eyes when the sun hits Jesper’s precious Zemeni revolvers at just the right angle, the yellow showing throughout Inej’s tunic embroidered in small details he has memorised, the yellow he has found to be intertwined with all his favourite things about his life.

So yeah, his favourite colour is yellow.

Ferdinand and Nina = Nina and Matthais. Matthias is the bull, Nina's well, Nina.

Why do I think so? Nina from 'Ferdinand' spends the whole movie trying to convince everyone that Ferdinand is not a monster and not like other bulls (who would and could kill people)

Nina from SoC spends her time trying to prove matty innocent and when she meets Zoya and the other Grisha she tries to tell them Matthias is not like the drüskelle any more. Show!Nina also tells Zoya that Matthias is not just a slab of fur

Conclusion : go re-watch 'Ferdinand' (the 2017/2018 vers)

favorite thing about them: There are lots of things, but I think it's Inej's kindness and how she still is so warm and positive at the world after all that she's been through :( Her resilience and strength is amazing as she stayed brave and kind after her trauma.

least favorite thing about them: I know lots of people love this line, but it rubbed me the wrong way at first: I will have you without armor, or I won't have you at all. First I was like "... bruh you should know more than anyone that he needs that armor, and his trauma should be taken seriously." Idk it just felt like she was saying you better get over your physical touch issue and rip off that armor if you want to be with me WHICH I NOW KNOW it was not about that, so it's cool. But at first, it just made me mad.

favorite line: what about the rest of us? What about the nobodies and the nothings, the invisible girls? We learn to hold our heads as if we wear crowns. We learn to wring magic from the ordinary.

brOTP: Nina. Their friendship is just so cutee

OTP: Kanej, ofc, but also I really have been starting to love Inej/Jesper? Like here me out: He cares about her and is there for her when Kaz could not be. She's completely comfortable with him and he's one of the only men that she's physically okay with hugging or kissing on the cheek. It's ADORABLE ok?

nOTP: Uh I guess like Alina/Inej. Eh I just don't like it or see it that much. She worships her like a Saint and Alina's very amused lol. I don't see anything past that.

random headcanon: I got the idea from a fic, but once Jesper trained as a Fabrikator, he made Inej another knife to add to her collection 🥺

unpopular opinion: Maybe that I ship Inej with Jesper bc a lot of people don't see that :) Everything else I completely agree with, like how she deserves the world and is an angel!!

Fanfiction writers (Scriptor fictus) are intelligent animals who need plenty of enrichment as well as encouragement! If they're stuck in poor conditions (e.g. have studies, work, have to actually write to have something written) then they require the proper enrichment to engage in more healthy behaviours, like writing. Remember, due to poor breeding and socialisation, over half of all fanfic writers suffer from low self confidence and executive dysfunction so take care of them!

Give your fanfic writers proper care. Fanfiction writers are a life long commitment.

Like I've read so many books and after one point you can predict what type of charectors an author can write. You understand their scope and calibre.

And like, even though the Hawthornes are portrayed as these hot sexy god-like bois who make women loose their minds I NEVER ever felt it

(probably cuz I'm gay—)

But my point is, with certain charectors like - Kenji Kishmoto, Aaron Warner, Kaz Brekker, Percy Jackson, Cardan Greenbriar, Malini (from da jasmine throne), alex claremont-diaz, Lord Thyco you can like FEEL the aura, the 'hot' aura

Like their PERSONALITIES contribute to the hotness.

• Kenji's obsession with tangled, his ability to calm people, his goofiness, him genuinely giving a fuck abt people, not being a Gale Hawthorne, and his obsession for Nazeera, his willingness to sacrifice himself for his friends

• Aaron's fashion sense, his willingness to burn the world for her, to wait for her, helping her become powerful, helping her find herself i.e re-discover her past, and eating a cookie with a knife and fork ; ‘Come back here’ ‘Home’, ‘lyhfml’

• Kaz Brekker ripping a guy's eye out for his girl, finding her parents for her, freeing her from her indenture and her sexual trauma, wanting to bottle up her laugh and get drunk on it, his crazy revenge plans, ‘I would've come for you’, dropping a guy from a tower for objectifying women.

• Percy simping for Annabeth and jumping into tartarus with her and almost dying for her, respecting his mom, having a loveable persona, standing up to the gods, messing with the gods, being sarcastic and a great leader.

•Cardan Greenbriar begging Jude to come back to him and allowing her to murder/attempt to murder him again and again and making her the queen of Elfhelm so she feels one with the magic

• Princess Malini of Parijatdvipada helping her girlfriend find herself, making her remember her childhood, save her people and her culture, re-discover her magic, establish a relationship with her brother, making her truly HAPPY and WHOLE again, Refusing to burn on that pyre

•Alex claremont-diaz giving his boyfriend the strength to truly be himself, helping him ; LIKE actually doing wonders for his man, gives him the courage to come out to his family, is actually there for henry (the boyfriend) whenever he needs him, goes after Henry and their relationship, the Texas campaign—

• Lord Thyco accepting his boyfriend, showing him he's not a burden but a blessing, bringing out the best in him, helping his boyfriend and his bestfriend by not letting them die on the streets

But with the Hawthornes it's like, you're supposed to think they're hot, end of story.

The only hawthorne I actually like is Grayson, because he reminds me of Henry from red white and royal blue.

I read the whole series for him and I don't think he and Lyra should be a thing

The rest of the charectors I stated as examples for hot? They had charector development, they helped their s/o-s grow with them.

I don't think the Hawthornes really did that.

And they have potential, with nash being a cowboy, Jameson loving mysteries and whatnot but it's not well executed.

Don't tell me that it's a mystery puzzle kinda book, you can't have best of both worlds.

Again, all the charectors I stated above are from action packed fun books and they have great personality.

Also shout out to Ravi Singh from a good girl's guide to murder. He has an amazing personality.
