hey. don’t cry. crush two cloves of garlic into a pot with a dollop of olive oil and stir until golden then add one can of crushed tomatoes a bit of balsamic vinegar half a tablespoon of brown sugar half a cup of grated parmesan cheese and stir for a few minutes adding a handful of fresh spinach until wilted and mix in pasta of your choice ok?
I genuinely thought Lester Pocket was someone they'd introduced in like season one and was waiting for some context clues to remind me about him all the way up to the Harlan reveal where I realized that I am in fact very slow
worst part about not rewatching early seasons before a new one drops out it's bc i immediately accept whatever new information as something ive already seen before. the jennifer incident? harlan using lester instead of his own name? abigail??? i assumed all of that appeared on the first two seasons and moved on with my life.
ngl i’m disappointed in the direction they took for the end of cruel summer
it was his birthday yesterday and i didn't reach out. maybe someday i'll be able to wish him a happy birthday without it compromising all my hard work but that day is not today
Please don’t flirt with me or I’ll start imagining a lifetime of happiness with you

After having time to process, I think the way I feel about that ending is it makes sense with the way things were written and how they showed Jeanette to act at times, but for me from a satisfying storytelling standpoint it feels hollow. To me, the show doesn't pack as much of a punch when it's not two relatively innocent girls with secrets creating a tangled web.
I liked the aspect of "There are no teams. These two girls are not against each other, there just are a lot of misunderstandings fueled by secrets." Now it's about a sociopath getting away with it.
Hey, as an American, if you Aren't one maybe you can show some fucking sympathy to the people who are going to suffer right now. The amount of posts I've seen from non-americans saying shit like "lol greatest country in the world" and essentially laughing at us is not fucking comforting and can be really upsetting. Acknowledge that this is going to hurt us (we certainly fucking have) because we didn't just lose Roe v. Wade, we lost so much more. Read the fucking room for once.
It matters because I gave it meaning bitch
Rings of Power tanking is retribution for Amazon not renewing Paper Girls for a second season
