The cold, dead eyes are what drew me in, and I stayed because he's a lovely individual. Love me some quiet, intellectual types.

I haven't thought much about what I'd be like in the Arcane universe (it's like the Nimona situation where it's hard to make a new original character when everyone else is so fleshed out), but I like to think that Golden would be able to control snakes or something (I love snakes).

I'm sure I'm misreading this, but Harley seems to be communicating with Leith via the monitor, so Harley is possibly possessing that monitor for the time being?

And at the end, when White wasn't facing Leith, he holds the top of the monitor, like he was petting it. Indirectly, was he caressing Harley?

A/N: This isn't my first time writing an "x reader" and it won't be my last, but I haven't written something like this in a while (I mainly write "canon x oc"), so don't judge me if it's not perfect—I'm just a guy! 😖😖

Spencer was tired as he made his way through the threshold of his apartment after opening the front door, closing it with a bump of his arm. He lazily kicked off his shoes, but still made an effort to straighten them out against the wall. He placed his satchel on his cluttered work desk, and that was when he heard footsteps approaching.

Already knowing who it was, he glanced over his shoulder at you and smiled despite being so utterly exhausted; he lit up whenever he saw you. He sighed as you wrapped your arms around him in a gentle embrace, melting into your touch as he let all thoughts of work exit his mind.

“Hey, sweet boy. I’m sorry, I thought we would be getting home earlier,” he mumbled while turning around to face you and hug you properly. “There was another victim right as we were packing up; we thought we caught the right guy.”

You looked up at him sympathetically, a small pout on your lips as you squeezed your arms around him in a silent assurance that it was okay—mistakes happen. His smile widened just a fraction, as if he knew what you were saying without actually saying it. You two were just connected like that, and that in itself was calming to him.

Something took him out of the moment, though. Something soft yet distracting. He tilted his head up to find a light source peeking out from where the bedroom door was cracked open, his curiosity piqued. He uttered your name, inquiring what exactly you cooked up when he was away.

You grinned and grabbed him by his wrist, leading him into the bedroom to show what you had built; a pillow fort that was surprisingly stable even though it was made up of pillows, blankets, and chairs. Spencer stared at it for a few seconds before chuckling in a fond manner, running his fingers through your hair. He allowed himself to be pulled inside, studying the interior with an expression of awe as he settled on the bed beside you.

“This is beautiful, sweet boy. Thank you. I think.. I really needed this.” He said earnestly, his eyes sparkling underneath the fairy lights.

You thought he never looked prettier than he did now. When you placed a hand on his chest, he shifted his focus back onto you, feeling giddy from your loving gaze that wouldn't stray from him for even a second. He was a good-looking man, he knew that, but it still warmed his heart when you paid the utmost attention to him.

He moved onto his side so that you were facing each other again, no longer admiring the fort but instead admiring each other. The glow of the lights hanging above illuminated both of your features in an enrapturing way, accentuating everything that you loved about each other. At least, the physical things. Spencer found himself reaching up to cup your cheek, cooing as you nuzzled into his warm palm.

“I love you very much, my sweet boy. You make me very, very happy.”

You closed your eyes and murmured out your own “I love you”, but it wasn't like either of you needed to respond to the other in order to know that your feelings are mutual. That was the beauty of your relationship, and no one would be able to take that away.

You guys. I'm seeing all these Harley Sawyers getting pregnant... Should I join in on the trend? I mean, Charlie (my OC) and Harley canonically build a child together in my AU, but should I, too, draw Harley prego? Gregnant? (It does not matter what any of you say, I will draw it anyways.)
