You hated him he took you from your home . Your family. And all you had left was him. You would not give in too his gentle words and shuttle actions no you wouldn’t you refused too.

Marcus couldn’t understand why you were so against being his mate. He would treasure you and take care of you like you were the most delicate flower. Yet all you did was speak words of venom and distrust. He was at a loss he couldn’t let you go he just couldn’t. He would rather die without you.

You remember what weapons those teeth could be through the trauma Marcus put you through when you last tried to leave. The vampire smirked at you ‘why don’t you run back to your mate little rabbit.’ You felt tears in the corners of your eyes as he finally released your job. You ran terrified. All you could hear were the laughter as you ran through the halls back to your room.

Marcus had waited for you for nearly an hour and it made him on edge . You couldn’t of escaped surely not. Especially after what he did to your family after your last escape attempt. He feels guilty for it truly but it had too be done.

The door was yanked open as you bursted in. Marcus was quick to approach you but was met with a saddening sight. Just looking into your teary eyes he could guess what had happened. He brushed a tear away from your cheek ‘amore mio do not cry’ he kissed your forehead with such tenderness and care afraid you would break. You let out a sigh of calmness as you looked into his eyes. And backed away from him.

He stiffened unsure of what to do so he chose to destroy the person who made you cry. As he was about to leave your room a burst of calmness flooded through you. You grabbed his hand stopping him. He turned back to you a confused expression on his face. Then he felt it your gentle lips on his . It was quick and gentle but full of care. He could get drunk on the feeling of your lips. You then whispered ‘ be safe’ . The corner of his lips turned up and he nodded his head then took his leave.

You hated him . Despised him even but there was a dark twisted part of you that had grew too well….
