Though I still very much so adore Hop from Sword&Shield... he has been bumped down the list since the second Kieran made an appearance. (first trailer appearance to be exact).

Between Bianca and Hop, they kind of make it look like becoming a professor is basically what you settle for if you can’t be a professional trainer.

I wanted to be a sports star but I couldn't make the cut so I went and got my masters degree in biology instead
