This is just a quick one it is a epic the musical AU for dcxdp tim/danny
So like usual Tim is Odysseus Danny is Penelope The Reincarnation and everything they kind of pick up where they left off all those years ago the bat family is concerned cuz it's out of character for Tim but are happy to see that he's happy and support him Denny's friends and family no of reincarnation so they are just okay with it cuz they know who those two are
This part's a little different where I want kind of want to see like maybe the JL to call in Phantom for something like maybe they're having like a threat that they don't know how to deal with it Supernatural or it's just too powerful and everyone's kind of there including Young JL and because Danny is Ghost King he has two of his most trusted people there which are fright knight and Pandora. Pandora knew that Danny was Reincarnation of Penelope. She had an idea that he found his Odysseus but didn't know for sure until she sees Danny and Tim interacting and she knows and she is extremely happy for them. Let's say maybe she goes like aw or something she does something to get the attention of everyone else in the room and they ask what is going on and she's like and she's looking at Tim and Danny and goes I love that strong when he comes once in a millennia the other members are confused ask her what she means and she explains that those two are reincarnated of people who were 2,000 years ago and their love Still Remains and still a strong if not stronger that is a thousand years old love
And that's how the bat family find out Tim's reincarnated of Odysseus and he found his Penelope that's why they moved so fast and they're still 100% supportive
I kind of want one of Tim's best friends to be a Reincarnation of Eumaeus,or Polites
Feel free to add and go on I'm obsessed with Epic and dcxp right now epic for a longer time I've been a huge fan since I found it and I think I started watch listening to it when it was at the Cyclops Saga so been there for a good portion of time
My favorite headcanon about gods and the mortals is that gods never understand how fragile humans are and don't understand how deep god's touches go through mortal's skin. (or simply don't care)
Athena will make Diomedes's grip on his spear stronger pushing his fingers tighter and almost breaking his bones. She fixes his position making his stance perfect, but human's body was never able to get into position this perfect so his muscles will be tearing and his bones will be cracking just to be instantly healed. When Athena removes her hands, his body will be covered in bruises.
Odysseus will always feel burning and at the same time freezing gaze on his back while Athena watches him across the battlefield. His ears will be filled with her breath and whisper, that will ring in his head long after she ended speaking. She will help him shot an arrow, and he will feel his joints moving in the way they were never supposed to move.
When Apollo turns all the spears and arrows away from the Hector he will still feel them digging into his flash. Apollo will raise him from the dust again and again, and Hector won't be able to stand without hearing god's voice in his ears and feeling god's burning touch on his shoulders. He closes his eyes and still sees the light.
Helen will stand tall to speak up to Paris, and Aphrodite will place her hands on Helen's shoulders to remind her of goddess's presence and this flaming grip will weight as heavy as ten years of war. Aphrodite will wash Helen's face so her skin will shine brighter and eyes will haunt every man in the room, and the only thing Helen feels is her skin freezing from the coldness of Aphrodite's hands.
And those touches won't end with battle or even with war. Every time Diomedes fights he will feel his body taking the exact position Athena once made him in, his limbs will come into shape they were never meant to be in, without deforming cause Athena already fixed them, once she already designed him according to her vision. Every time Odysseus lies his words will echo in his head just like Athena's words did before, every time he uses a bow, arrow in his hands will feel like a burning torch or like an ice, and his joints and tendons will sing in a perfect copy of the song Athena made them perform inside his body on the battlefield. Every time Helen will square her shoulders to feel herself more confident she will feel burning touch on her chin pushing it up and freezing breath in her hair. She will look at her husband and shadow of tight grip on her shoulders will become shadow of sharp nails digging into her skin, holding her in place.
Even dying at Achilles's hands and falling to the ground Hector would still hear an order in his head telling him to get up and fight, his own blood running down a neck will feel like Apollo's hands forcing him back to his feet.
No mortal ever forgets a god's touch.
Odysseus is "There are other way"-ing Zeus This is to everyone in that comment section!
There is a part 2 now...
Odysseus: *gently hands Athena baby Telemachus*
Athena: …you were PREGNANT AND YOU DIDNT TELL ME?!
Odysseus: what?- no-
Athena: DO YOU KNOW HOW DANGEROUS THAT IS?! I WAS TRAINING YOU!
Odysseus: no I wasn’t the one-
Athena: THAT POOR BOY WAS PROBABLY SO SQUISHED IN YOUR HELMET! LOOK AT HOW SMALL HE IS!!
All songs are perfect, I can't stop listening to them. Help.
The Horse and the Infant, Warrior of the Mind and Polyphemus are my favourite *chief kiss*
Also, what I like about Greek mythology, is that the whole story of the world happened because gods couldn't solve their problems in a mature way...

At this point m, what Odysseus really needs is a Theraphy Saga
My dude made his life hard like wtf
Was curious how far Ithaca was from troy today while listening to epic the musical and rereading the illiad and I found this map
I think odysseus would have been better just to walkðŸ˜
Whilst Eurylochus isn't as faultless as my baby Polites, doesn't mean everything was his fault. Did he open the wind bag? Yes, yes, he did. Did that directly lead to poseidon killing of the crew? No, it didn't. Poseidon would have taken revenge on Odysseus and his crew either way, not just because they were pushed further away from Ithaca. As observed in the snippet of 'get in the water', we've seen that poseidon is more than capable of appearing anywhere in the ocean. Ergo, he was going to kill them all anyway, Eurylochus just spiced things up by changing the location they died. Furthermore, he wasn't wrong to mutiny against Odysseus, and realistically, he wasn't the one fully at fault for zeus and 'thunder bringer'. Now, I'm not saying he's faultless because most of the blame definitely falls onto him. What I am saying is that he was tired and hungry, and he'd given up. Think about it, he'd probably not eaten in days if he stopped off at the first island he came across and killed the sun God's cows. He'd just mutinied against his captain, his friend. Suddenly, the lives of all the crew rest souly on his shoulders. And he's just so tired. Tired of Odysseus ignoring his concerns, tired of seeing his friends and comrades die, tired of seeing Odysseus change for the worst and tired of being hungry. He wasn't in the right state of mind, he'd completely given up by the second half of 'mutiny'. During 'thunder bringer' he doesn't sound angry or even very betrayed. He just sounds apathetic, he's entirely given up at this point. He wants it all to end, and I can't say I blame him. What I'm saying is that, in this situation, would anyone have done anything different? With several gods already looming over you, wishing for your destruction, being so tired and so hungry, and having seen so many of your friends die would anyone really have left those cows?
Tldr; Eurylochus isn't entirely at fault, nobody is entirely at fault. All the actions taken are understandable. They are just humans and they make mistakes.
I am the monster, rawr rawr rawr
Wow, what an odyssey, it was truly... epic
