almost done with nona and i still have zero idea whats going on. like at all. and thats fine, at this point its a shock if i know about something or connect the dots because its almost unheard of for me 🤓☝️

the tantrum scene actually clicked something in my head. Nona reminds me of my younger self before going through Occupational therapy for my Autism. I have had tantrums similar (not going berserker mode lol) and felt the same rage the book details.

We can see a radiator behind her. The last panel is divided in two close ups of her tied shoes and another of her left hand, chained to the radiator by a chain.

Comic page. In the top row, divided in 3 panels, is shown a close up of Nona's wrist bleeding as she pulls, and the chain eventually snaps the hand off, with a lot of blood pouring out. In the rest of the page it shows Nona, her face and shirt covered in her blood and her arm raised, looking at her hand, which immediately regrew itself. The hand is spotless and there's smoke leaving from it. Under that there's Nona untying her right hand from the rope, sitting up on the chairs.

Comic page divided in 3 rows. The first has two panels, showing Nona reaching for her tied ankles. The 2nd row, also in 2 panels, shows her pulling on the zip tie as she screams. Her fingers end up snapping off due to the strength and she falls back. In the last row she looks angrily at the restraint as she leans back on the chairs, her regrown fingers clean off blood while her hands are covered in it. There's smoke rising from her hands.

Comic page with 3 rows. The first shows her throwing herself to the ground at the bottom of the chairs, her feet still tied to the last one. The 2nd shows her pulling on the zip tie again as she screams and finally the third shows the leg of the chair breaking.

There is a lot of blood and there's smoke rising as she heals. In the bottom we have a view of Nona sitting down with smoke rising from her blood-covered ankle, her pant's leg ruined and the zip tie hanging from the other foot. She huffs as she still holds the chair leg.

Comic page with 3 rows. In the top Nona looks back at the viewer as she rises from the floor, covered in her blood. In the middle the camera shifts to behind her, allowing us to see what she was really looking at: the door outside. The shadows focus on the door. In the bottom she's determined, approaching the door as she holds the chair she broke the leg off, her braids waving with the motion.

Comic page with 2 main segments. In the top Nona rises the chair and throws it against the door, breaking it even further but denting the door too, along with cracking the glass. She looks at it angrily. In the bottom she picks up the chair again and winds up another strike, mouth open in an angry scream.

Comic page with one main illustration and a small panel. In the panel it's shown the door bending under the strike and the illustration its shown Nona hitting it open, yet another chair leg breaking off its body. She steps outside the room, angry.

Comic page with 2 rows. On the top there's Nona, bloody and with her hair disheveled, scowling at the camera. Then on the middle panel, with a top view of the scene, she steps forward as she holds the chair leg, leaving bloody steps behind as she leaves the room she was in.

Bugs when you lift up a rock

Decided to make Coronabeth’s eyes more purple. Ianthe’s eyes are the same color and not her lyctor colors because i think it would be cool if occasionally the lyctor’s original eye colors could still be seen in glimpses
