We lost another dear K-artist to suicide, two days ago, on the 12th of May, 2023.
Her name is Kim Ara, better known as Haesoo. She was a trot singer; a type of Korean music based from foxtrot. She also made her debut only four years ago.
This is around a month after Moonbin's death. Nothing can describe my outrage, especially because of how quiet netizens have been on the subject. I myself did not stan her, but my heart breaks for those who do.
Please take care of your idols, respect them and love them. You never know when they'll be gone.
I myself am not an Aroha, but my heart goes out to all the Aroha that lost one of their beloved idols.
It is tragic that we keep losing our idols like this, please keep in mind that your actions and words do affect others, no matter how small.
A moment of silence.
This isn’t usually what I post, especially since I’m not an Aroha, but I’m moved to tears to do this. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Moonbin’s family and friends right now. My heart is truly breaking. Sua, Sanha, Jinjin, MJ, Rocky, Eunwoo, Seungkwan, SinB, Chanwoo, his family, we’re all thinking of you. I hope everyone respects their privacy and their need to grieve, and I also hope we are all able to celebrate his beautiful life and all that he was, and all that he gave to it. Kind, gentle, incredibly talented, I can’t imagine what could’ve happened got him to get to this point. My foundation feels shaken to its core.
Moonbin-ah, I hope you know how much you were loved, and how sorely you shall be missed. You have left a beautiful legacy behind you, and yet it was nothing compared to all you could’ve done. You remain in our hearts and our memories. You were wonderful.

I know how you’re feeling. You don’t feel like it’s real, it can’t be true, you’re reading articles and watching videos about any possible updates. But it’s true and you feel like the ground opened up to swallow you. The unthinkable has happened, and unfortunately it happened to your beloved Moonbin.
I am not too familiar with Astro or Moonbin, but my heart is with you, and I know your pain. I thought I would give you some advice on how to get through this difficult situation.
This is all meant with love.
1, try not to watch videos with clickbait titles about him. There will be, and already is a lot out there trying to capitalize on this news, only take information from reputable sources.
2, the clickbait videos never really end. They use your dear idol to get views by saying rude things or making infuriating thumbnails. Try your best to ignore it and report the video and the account.
3, don’t feel bad if you can’t bring yourself to watch any funeral footage if there is any. It will be painful to witness, and you don’t have to put yourself through that.
4, it’s okay not to want to listen to his music for a while. Take your time and be kind with yourself.
5, find a way to remember him, if you feel it’s appropriate. For me, Jonghyun’s music saved me in a hard time in my life and I plan to get a tattoo in his honor, but I have also named my cat after his last album, Poet|Artist (we call him Poe), and every new years day I listen to a special song of his to welcome the new year.
6, find fellow Arohas to talk to. They need you as much as you need them.
7, when you feel like you can handle it, find joy in the moments Moonbin left for you. Like dance practice bloopers, photos of him smiling.. remember him on the anniversary if his last day, but celebrate him on his birthday.
8, finally, reach out for help if you feel you need it. It may seem silly to mourn someone you never met, but it’s still a very real loss with very real pain.
I hope this advice can help you find a little peace. I am so sorry for your loss.

As an Aroha my condolences goes to his family members Astro his friends and all the fans.He was truly one of a kind his personality was just so comforting for me whenever i was down i always watched moonbin and han.Moonbin will always stay as my comfort person.I will always remember him no matter what happens. Hope he is happy. His dimples his eye everything about him was just...Please stay of socials if u feel overwhelmed by this news.Moonbin is in a better place now he is resting happily.I will never forget the number of times i smiled just because of his smile. MJ,Jinjin,Eunwoo,Sanha,Rocky hope they are dealing positively with this news same with Sua.

I first met Moonbin on the 14th of June 2016. I was relatively new to K-pop and wanted to start with a group just as new as me. I remember looking at the photos of the new groups I could get interested in. But I really remember Astro, specifically Moonbin. He just drew me in. His smile and the way he acted and behaved. During the summer of 2018 I abandoned Astro. My friends thought it was lame and they didn’t like it. I remember seeing alerts in my phone that Moonbin was live all the time. And I never clicked on.
I regret that now more than ever.
I bumped into him again during quarantine. When I watched his lives I realised how much I missed him and Astro. Throughout the loneliness of quarantine, Astro and Moonbin were there for me. They made me feel like I had someone to rely on a friend. When I came back from the gym tonight and opened my phone I never expected to hear that Moonbin had died. I thought it was a joke. Some fake news spread by a fake fan to get attention. So when I went on instagram to see that post on the Astro page. I was shocked. My thoughts went to his group mates and his family. I was devastated.
I want to end this by thanking my moonbeam for all that he has done for me. He made me feel important. He was always guiding me and lighting the way. He helped me shine like he did and always will. Moonbin is no longer physically with us. But we will always have the memories of him and that is just as good.

From people struggling in school or career or their marriage/ relationship or with themselves. We have so much power at the tip of our fingers. Use it in a good way. I hope this message is reached by many more.
