what really gets me about jiaxu and sang zhi's relationship is the intensity of their feelings. they just.. love e/o so much, and it's evident in their actions and words, in how both jiaxu and sang zhi are always willing to go that extra length for each other.

my favorite instance of this being when sang zhi confesses her long time crush to him— a secret she'd buried deep down and was scared to reveal— in hopes that it would help jiaxu appreciate himself more. bc she was that afraid of losing him. and then both of them crying as he processes what he'd just heard.

like. imagine loving someone to the point it moves you to tears??? there's just something so pure and poignant about that and i couldn't help but cry along with them too
