Experience Tumblr Like Never Before
Thinking about how ISAT on its surface is just a simple rpg. And that the appeal is the fun quirky characters! But that’s also Siffrin’s thought. And that they are scared to leave his friends. Which fuels the loops and therefore the entire game.
And it’s like, “damn, I also wanted this. I’m literally Siffrin.” And then the game FUCKING GETS YOU a with the ol’ “you have nothing to return to after this adventure is over” and now I’m in traction.
It—I-tha-it’s fatal-I’m dying. Full owie
Because, yeah. I know that forgetting your entire country is unimaginably awful, but I feel parts of it just because I’ve had voids I don’t want to return to that happened for no discernible reason, and I have felt scared in the past that I will somehow once again be at my worst and not recover. And Siffrin doing everything in his power to both maintain the good thing they have and also not break whatever tentative “peace” with the issue at hand hits kinda close to home.
It’s just such a good fucking game
