guys, i may not post for a bit because i’m working on a bsd related flash game. i’ll give you guys some teasers when i have more done. in a nutshell, it starts out as a cute little day in the life of 15zai then it slowly gets more and more disturbing. i’ll probably have a demo out by june. this is inspired by the lacey games series btw. i’m currently working on art for the icon.

Can I just say how much I LOVE the horror in Lacey Games?
I’m just gonna start of with the stalker from Wardrobe (I’m not gonna show a pic because that face FUCKED ME UP for like 2 WEEKS). I love how Ghosttundra doesn’t do the basic distorted face monster stuff, but a realistic face of some fat guy with huge pupils who reminds me of the Ooga booga guy from Spooky Month, and that alone already puts you on edge.
And the execution of that face is also terrifying. The way he hides in shadows all over the place is so creepy but so realistic and really makes you feel trapped and that he could be anywhere. When you’re dressing Lacey up for her picnic and let her outside, for a first-time viewer, you don’t see the stalker hiding in the bushes until he shows up again watching outside her window. The contrast between HIM and Lacey’s cartoony art style is just so unsettling too.
And the rest of the series is horrifying. In Diner, the entire time Lacey has her emotional breakdown with putting all her trauma and her uncle into a meal is so gross and so sad at the same time. And when she goes to serve the customers, the switch between the cartoony style and the hyper realistic imagery, alongside the chewing and slurping sounds in the background, makes that scene all the more disgusting.

How do you make your art style so round and cute??
Like I said before, Mami’s my favorite character and I forgot to mention how her weapons are GUN AND RIBBONS?? Like that’s such a cool combo and the way she uses them is so unique!!
I’m VERY excited for new Lacey Games content! I got into the series right after Rabbithole and was fascinated by how it tackled such sensitive topics in a realistic way. I’m very curious about what else this series will show and what else we’ll discover about Rocio!
As for new indie projects, I saw the teaser for a new show from GLITCH called Knights of Guinevere and I’m honestly very intrigued by it, mainly because it’s being made by DANA TERRACE and other people from the Owl House team!
For my art, I have no idea how I’m making it look round and cute. I would say that the key to learning it would be to understand how to use shapes. For example, rounder shapes can create a comfortable and freeing atmosphere, while sharper shapes can make it feel more serious, intense and enticing.

Me when I tried to cook food but ran out of time and the customers get so impatient over 3 minute's and I get pissed so I mixed up a used c0nd0m, c0c41ne, my uncle, a stash of p0rn0gr4phy, cigarettes, bugs, and barbed wire together to serve my customers and then my restaurant gets closed for health violations
