sometimes i realize just how great the block button really is, and trust me i know it’s not magic, and for some situations it’s useless but

spam or bot accounts? report and block

people with views that you don’t like? block

someone who won’t stop bothering you? block

people who you just wanna block for whatever reason? block!!!

then you can breathe for just a moment, and hope the people you’ve blocked don’t try to do anything further

block block button my beloved not sleeping for once ⚠️ WARNING: THESE TAGS ARE SLIGHTLY A VENT/RANT yes this post was inspired me blocking someone i’ve blocked so many bot accounts its ridiculous i’ve also blocked a few people’s accounts because I don’t want them interacting with me (bc of their views/actions/etc.) being able just to hit the mute button on people is just so nice some days and of course i’ve used it irresponsibly too i’ve blocked people who i shouldn’t have and then had to live with the consequences but i’m okay right now i won’t add clarification for the “people i shouldn’t have” though block button block button save me
