Innocence Meets Trouble

Riven jumped on Skys back as they walked through the entrance of the school building. It was the first day of second year and Riven had just caught Sky talking to a first year. The teasing had begun, and Sky could only roll his eyes at his roommate and best friend before they bumped into someone.

Y/n’s hands shook slightly as she carried her bags through the yard. Her first day at a new school and y/n knew that she would stand out. Having skipped a year already due to her advance in magic, Dowling had decided that she would be better off in a more advanced class, which didn’t sit well with y/n. She would already stand out due to her relation to Stella, cousins by marriage, but that would inevitably take a back seat when people found out about her skills. Not watching where she was going she ended up bumping into someone, knocking against a wall as a result.

-------

“I’m so sorry.” The blonde guy gasped, grabbing her arm to steady her.

“Watch where you’re going.” The raven haired beside him snapped.

“My fault, wasn’t watching where I was going.” Y/n stated, looking down at her bags now on the ground.

“First year?” The guy asked, hitting Riven’s arm.

“No second.” Y/n flinched, rubbing her shoulder.

“I don’t recall seeing you last year.” The Raven guy stated, narrowing his eyes at her.

“I’m new, first year here but second year of classes.” Y/n explained, not liking explaining herself.

“Well I’m Sky, this is Riven, Specialists, probably be in some of your classes.” The blonde haired introduced himself and his friend.

“Y/n, second year, fairy.” Y/n spoke, waving slightly at the end.

“Here, et us help you with these bags.” Sky suggested, holding an arm out to grab some of y/n’s bag.

“I’m out of here.” Riven stated, holding a peace sign as he started walking backwards.

“Riven.” Sky tutted at his friend.

“Seya later.” Riven stated, walking off, glancing back at y/n as he left.

“I’m sorry about him. He wasn’t like this last year.” Sky apologized, smiling at y/n as he grabbed her suitcase.

“It’s fine. And as opposed to these, I got it, thanks.” y/n smiled softly.

“I insist, the least I can do after bumping into you.” Sky stated, and y/n chuckled lightly before allowing Sky to lead the way.

Riven wasn’t sure what was wrong with him. For some reason he couldn’t stop staring at the new girl. He refused to acknowledge the newbies, but there was something about this girl that he could not shift, and currently, he was standing at the upper floor, looking across at where y/n was standing, watching the party down below.

Y/n stood at the corner, away from all the people that were walking along the halls, observing the scene down below. She wasn’t one for crowds, but she knew that if she didn’t turn up than she would draw more attention to herself than she cared for.

“You know you could just talk to her instead of stalking her.” Sky spoke, coming up from behind him.

“I don’t know what your talking about.” Riven spoke, taking a swig from his drink.

“Alright than.” Sky smirked before moving away from him.

--------------

“Staying away from the people, smart as a newbie.” A voice called to her, and y/n turned to see Sky walking towards her.

“I’m not one for crowds.” Y/n shrugged, crossing her arms.

“Funny, neither is Riven.” Sky smirked, pointing towards his friend that was looking over at them.

“I would of thought him the opposite.” Y/n remarked.

“He likes to portray that image, but trust me, he’s a softie at heart.” Sky smirked, winking at her.

Two weeks since her first day, y/n decided to walk the grounds on her free day to see what was around to do. She mostly kept to herself, having an error in the assigning of rooms lead to y/n having her own room, but she didn’t mind that. It made her days more calm, she wasn’t one for madness, and it helped with the questions. Which is why she would often walk the grounds on her own, walking down the path towards the specialist area.

Riven turned his attention to the girl in front of him. The two had rarely spoken since they bumped into each other the first day of term, but there was something about her that wouldn’t leave her mind. Deciding to ignore her, he took out his box of cigarettes and stood up. Y/n frowned at the box as he walked off.

“Hello stranger.” Sky called out to her as she walked by the bench area.

“Hey.” Y/n smiled , eyeing Riven as he sat beside his friend.

“What’s got you around this area?” Sky asked, and Riven looked up at the girl.

“Just walking around. Scouting out the area.” Y/n shrugged.

Y/n walked on further before seeing an outline of trees ahead of her. Looking around, she opted to leave the grounds and head into the hooded area. She knew it would be dark, but that meant that it would most likely be abandoned.

“I don’t see the hype of them.” Y/n stated.

“That’s because you’re a goody too shoes.” Riven stated, smirking at her as he walked off.

“Ignore him, he’s been acting like this since summer.” Sky stated.

“Gotcha.” Y/n nodded before walking off down the path.

Branches cracked under her feet as she made her way into the forest. Birds could be heard and the soft wind against leaves made her smile. She loved nature, which was probably why she gained the ability of earth and it’s elements. Lost in her own thoughts, she didn’t see the foot that was sprawled across her path, leading to her to trip and fall. She groaned and looked to the side before screaming at what she saw.

Riven glanced behind him only to take a double take before jumping away from his position in shock He grabbed y/n out of reflex before pushing her behind him as he screamed out for someone. It wasn’t long before Silva turned up and he crouched beside the mauled and obviously dead man that was leaning against a tree. He opted to send the students back and alert Dowling about their discovery, and Riven couldn’t help but throw a worried glance at the girl beside him.

“Geez, I’m not that bad looking.” Riven rolled his eyes at her reaction.

“Not you.” Y/n snapped, pointing behind him.

-----------------

Y/n sighed as she crossed her arms across her chest as she walked her way through the halls. Students looked her way before whispering to each other, and y/n knew what it was about. Word spreads fast around the school, and by now both students and teachers knew about y/n in the woods. The image from the woods had haunted her the night before, and she didn’t want to speak about the day. She wanted to forget it, however hard that would be.

Riven was leaning against a pillar outside, smoking a joint when he seen a certain h/c headed girl walk out from the school building, trying to avoid the crowds of students that were walking. Seeing her looking down at the ground, Riven opted to call the girl over and try to talk to her.

Riven nodded before moving away from the pillar and heading off to where Beatrix and Dane were standing, watching them talk. The trio that were known for mischief, and y/n only watched as he left, seeing as he placed an arm around Beatrix, looking over their shoulder as they walked away.

“Hey, y/n.” He called out, and y/n froze at the familiar voice. “Come here.” Riven finished, and y/n looked at him, unsure.

“Yes?” She asked, unsure of what the boy would want.

“You okay?” He asked, showing small hint of concern.

“Why do you care?” She asked, frowning at him.

“Yesterday was freaky, I know I seen it.” Riven shrugged.

“Yeah well you use a joint to help, I don’t.” Y/n narrowed her eyes at him.

“Why are you so hostile, I am only asking if you’re okay.” Riven stated, placing his hands up in mock surrender.

“Sorry.” Y/n muttered, looking away from him.

“Want one?” Riven asked, offering his joint to her.

“I’m good.” Y/n scrunched her nose at the strong smell.

“Look seriously, if you want to talk, I’m here.” Riven stated, looking down in confusion as to why he just said that.

“Thanks, I guess.” Y/n squinted at him, unsure how to respond.

--------

The following days, Y/n spent most her time in her dorm, avoiding being seen as much as possible. Riven had grown worried for the girl, and would find himself staring at the back of her head when they were in class together. He had left the relationship he had with Beatrix and Dane, so he had grown to find his feelings for the girl had changed. The two often caught eyes with each other and a short smile would be exchanged. Small conversations would be exchanged, and y/n would still grimace at him when she would see him smoking or up to mischief which would lead to him smirking at her with that boyish smile.

As teacher brought the class to a close, Riven watched as y/n packed her bag and quickly left before the other students left for the day. Y/n threw her bag over her shoulder as she left, and Riven noticed her phone slide out of her jean pocket, landing on the floor. Seeing that y/n clearly hadn’t noticed the loss, Riven moved forward and grabbed the phone off the floor before rushing after.

She glanced up at them as their hands brushed together briefly. Riven raised an eyebrow at her as he felt a tingle as she moved away from him. Y/n only smiled at him before moving away from him. The two held contact with each other before y/n blinked, looking down to break it. Riven cleared his throat and smiled, waking backwards before finally turning.

“Hey, /n, wait up.” Riven shouted at her, waving her phone at her.

“Hey Riven.” Y/n smiled weakly at him, and Riven could see that she was tired.

“You dropped this.” He stated, holding the phone out to her.

“Oh, thanks.” Y/n nodded at him, taking her phone from him.

Riven looked down for a minute, thinking before deciding to try and catch up to y/n. He watched ahead, bumping into students as y/n turned the corner. Cursing to himself, Riven moved quicker, not taking a second glance at those who shouted at him as he moved quickly to get to her, when often he would glare at them. Y/n turned off to a quiet corridor, and Riven stopped at the turn to see y/n struggling with her key. Riven looked back as two girls came whispering to each other as they opened their dorm and walked in, both looking at Riven and y/n before the door closed. Riven coughed slightly, and y/n looked over her shoulder at him before finally getting the door open.

“Riven?” Y/n called.

“Yea?” The rave haired boy turned around.

“No, it’s okay.” Y/n shook his head, cursing herself for calling him.

“Y/n?” Riven asked, walking back to him.

“It’s nothing.” Y/n shook her head again, walking away from Riven.

Riven looked at y/n and moved closer to her. Y/n watched Rivens shadow as it creeped towards her.Feeling a hand being placed on her arm, y/ looked at it before looking up at Riven. She flicked her hair back and smiled up at the boy and he sighed, unsure if he should be doing this.

“Y/n,” Riven started, only to stop himself.

“You followed me?” Y/n asked, narrowing her eys at him from her door.

“I’m confused by something, I’m not sure how to act.” Riven shrugged, not looking away from her.

“Confused about what?” Y/n asked, looking at Riven intrigued by what he wanted to say.

"You, me, I dunno?" Riven stated, shrugging.

"Well maybe say it and it might be helpful." Y/n shrugged, trying to be helpful.

"There's something about you, that, won't leave me. I find myself enjoying our short chats. Brief as they are." Riven started, and y/n looked down as she blushed.

"Riven."

Y/n could only close her eyes as she allowed Riven to move closer to her. Her breath caught in her chest as there lips met, and she melted under Riven’s touch. The kiss was brief and when they pulled away, y/n looked up at Riven in shock

“We are two completely different people.” Y/n commented.

“Sometimes opposites attract.” Riven stated before leaning in.

“What does this mean?” Y/n asked, squinting up at him gently.

“I dunno, we’ll see where this goes.” Riven shrugged, before smiling softly at her.

“I’d ike that.” Y/n smiled, before leaning her head on his chest.

I Just Want My Dad- Pt 3

Bloom stood in Sebastians shop, talking to Sky on the phone while Sebastian and Saul sat in the back room. She was trying to get Sky to talk to Saul but was beginning to realize that there was no point in trying.

"Can you tell y/n at least, that her father's okay? I'm sure she's heard about what happened, might be good to hear it from you." Bloom asked, knowing how close y/n and him were.

"Y/n and I aren't talking at the moment, we uh, had a bit of a falling out." Sky stated, causing Bloom to sigh.

"No way of her talking to you?" Bloom asked before hearing Sky sigh.

"Call her, get him talking to her. I'm sure that would lift her spirits with all that's going on." Sky stated, wanting to get y/n smiling again.

"Okay, I'll try getting in contact with her." Bloom nodded, knowing that was all he would say.

"Look I've got to go, Andreas is back and despite how things are, I won't ruin this for y/n." Sky stated before hanging up the phone.

Bloom sighed and put her phone into her back pocket before moving into the back room where Saul and Sebastian was waiting. The two looked up at her expectantly as she walked in.

"Sorry Saul, umm.." Bloom started, not knowing what to say.

"Sky will come round." Silva stated with a slight smile, Sebastian nodding in agreement.

"Did you hear anything about Dowling while you were in the capital, I've tried everything but the solarians have given up." Bloom stated, frustrated in herself.

"Sorry Bloom I don't know where Dowling went." Silva apologized, shaking his head, "But Sebastian here has a knack of finding things, I'm sure he'll be able to find her somehow." He assured her as Sebastian nodded.

"I'm like a terrier." Sebastian agreed, laughing slightly.

"So what am I supposed to do, go back to school like everything's normal?" Bloom asked, not sure of what to say.

"No, because everything is not normal. And you need to remember that because Rosalind will try to wear you down and you will forget what normal used to feel like." Silva explained, before turning to Sebastian, "Meanwhile Luna has given Rosalind access to the royal archives."

"Shit." Sebastian cursed while Bloom stood in confusion.

"What's the royal archives?"

"The good stuff." Sebastian stated and Silva hummed in agreement.

"She's planning something big." Silva agreed, looking down slightly.

Bloom sighed and looked down, thinking it was her fault, that if she hadn't of been so selfish than Rosalind wouldn't have control and everyone would be safe. Silva looked at her and twitched slightly before asking the question that had been on his mind since he got free.

"How's y/n been handling all of this?" He asked, wanting to finally know answers.

"Not great, she's been broken since you left. Everyone thinks that something happened to her because she's just, drained from her usual self." Bloom admitted, knowing it was better to tell the truth than to lie to the concerned father.

"What do you mean?" Silva asked in confusion, worried for his daughters safety.

"Musa and Terra walked in on Rosalind and Andreas in y/n's room, Rosalind said something about her loosing control and used the cuff's that prevent magic against her. She told them she had heard about you going to Polaris and just lost it, kept saying how she just wanted her dad." Bloom spoke honestly, watching Silva's reaction.

"God, I wish I could just see her." Silva stated, putting his hand on his head, looking down.

Sebastian smiled awkwardly and placed a hand on his friends shoulder, trying to comfort him.

"Andreas is always calling for her, probably training her. But Sky suggested that I see if can get her alone, maybe you can call her. Might put her at ease, put you both at ease." Bloom suggested, not used to seeing Silva so disheartened.

"Yeah, yeah that would be great. I just need to hear her so I know she's alright." Silva stated, looking at her with hope.

"Your girl is strong. She'll be okay." Sebastian stated, smiling at Silva.

"I just want my daughter back." Silva stated, before leaving to get cleaned up.

------------------------------------------------------------

Y/n was making her way towards the specialist area when a student specialist came towards her, telling her Andreas wanted to see her. Sighing, she made her way down the dark hall way to see Sky leaning against the wall on his phone. They made eye contact but y/n just turned away, leaning against the wall a few feet away from him, not wanting to talk to him. She looked up as they heard vehicles pulling in, and her breath caught in her throat when she seen Andreas step out of the driving area and head towards her. Looking to the side, y/n seen Sky watching before folding her arms, turning her attention straight ahead as Andreas stopped in front of her. She rubbed her wrists in discomfort as the cuffs dug into her skin.

"I was told you wanted to see me." Y/n spoke, looking down.

"Saul escaped. No clue how but I'm sure he had help." Andreas stated, looking at her with folded arm.

"Well I didn't do it, I don't have any magic remember." Y/n stated sarcastically before flinching as Andreas raised a finger in warning.

"He's been shot twice in the back yet still managed to get away. Haven't found a body yet though." Andreas stated, watching y/n relax after becoming rigid hearing what happened.

"Well that's good, isn't it?" Y/n stated with a smile, glad his dad was possibly aright.

"Not when we find him it won't." Andreas stated before turning to face Sky. "Sky, come train with y/n." He called out to his son, causing y/n's eyes to widen, looking at Sky.

"What?" Y/n asked, looking at Andreas with wide eyes.

"Well you don't have you magic, might as well continue learning to defend yourself." Andrea's stated before walking off as Sky joined y/n's side.

"It'll be okay." Sky stated in comfort, putting an arm around y/n's shoulder before guiding her to the training area, hating that y/n had to go through this.

------------------------------

Y/n groaned in pain, holding her shoulder as she entered the suite where Musa, Stella ad Terra were talking in a corner. The trio glanced at her and watched as she winched in pain. Seeing the discomfort of the young fairy, Stella tried to move over to her, going for the shoulder only for y/n to grab her wrist.

"Leave it." Y/n stated, flinching away from Stellas grasp.

"Your hurt." Stella stated.

"It's fine, nothing I'm not used to at this stage." Y/n stated, causing the girls to give her a look of sympathy.

"What's there obsession with you?" Musa asked, confused on why the heads of school always pestered y/n.

"I'm Silvas daughter." Y/n shrugged, winching as she spoke her fathers name.

"And my mother thinks that y/n should be a protector of the solarian throne." Stella spoke, watching as y/n moved towards the couch to lie down.

"Has anyone seen my phone?" y/n asked, trying to change the subject.

The three girls shook their heads and y/n sighed before grimacing as she rubs her shoulder. Standing up from the couch, she cleared her throat before moving towards her room. She thought about what Andreas had said about her dad. Their encounter had made her become worried for her father, and she worried about whether or not he was alive. Blinking rapidly, y/n sat lay on her bed and stared at the ceiling, trying to keep calm as she heard a knock on the door.

"Go away." y/n called, wanting to be alone.

"Hey." Bloom peeped her head through the door to see y/n laying on her bed.

"If your gonna start asking me questions now's not the time." Y/n stated, thinking she was here to ask about something Musa said.

"Questions about what?" The fire fairy asked, genuinely confused.

"Doesn't matter, what do you need?"

"Oh nothing, just had something I thought you might like."

"What do you mean?"

Bloom stepped into the room and held up her hand from her side, allowing y/n to see what she was holding, y/n's phone. Y/n looked at it in confusion before glancing at Bloom warily.

"Where was it?" Y/n asked, unsure of how Bloom got hold of it.

"In the hall outside the door, thought you'd be looking for it."

"Thanks, just leave it on my desk." Y/n stated before hearing the phone ringing.

"I think you should get that." Bloom spoke innocently, holding the phone towards her fellow fairy.

"No one calls me, who is it?" Y/n asked, grabbing the phone from Bloom and answering it without looking at the contact.

"Hello?" Y/n asked in confusion, moving back to he bed as Bloom watched on.

"Y/n?" A voice she recognized came over the speaker.

"Dad?" Y/n asked, unsure of if she heard right or not.

"Hey sweetheart." Silva said with relief as he heard his daughters voice.

"Daddy." Y/n said again, tears coming to her eyes.

"Yeah sweetie, it's me." Silva smiled to himself as he savored the little conversation they would have.

"I thought you were dead, Andreas said...."

"Andreas thought I would be with all the arrows in my back, luckily your fellow fairy friends got to me." Silva explained.

Y/n turned to Bloom and looked at her wit ha smile, mouthing a thank you to her before red haired fairy left.

"Where are you? Are you coming back to Alfea? I need to see you, please come back, it's been hell without you." Y/n stated, determined to see her father again.

"I know, sweetie, it's been hell without being able to see you too. But I can't return just yet, I can't risk being seen." Silva spoke with sorrow, wanting to hold his daughter close to him.

"Maybe I can go to you, I'm sure I can sneak out, I can...."

"Y/n no, its too risky. I wish you could but Bloom told me about Andreas training you, he'll find out if you left and make it worse on you. Please, don't do anything stupid." Silva pleaded with his daughter, wanting nothing more than to be with her but knowing the consequences.

"Dad, please."

"Y/n please." Silva repeated what she pleaded, hoping to get a laugh out of her, and he smiled hearing a slight laugh.

"Are you okay? You were locked up for a long time and I don't imagine it's a pretty place to be." Y/n asked, concerned about her fathers welfare.

"I'm fine, nothing I can't handle, I've lived through worse." Silva shrugged off, not worried about himself, "What about you, how are you keeping, I can't imagine how hard this has been for you."

"I'm tired of it dad. Andreas keeps training me as a specialist but I don't want that. I haven't got the strength for it. Every time we train he gets Sky to fight me and I'm to one who ends up on the ground. I don't want to train as a specialist dad, I'm a fairy." Y/n explained as she heard her dad sigh on the other end of the phone.

"I know sweetie, and I'm sorry that he's doing that to you. How many injuries have you had?"

"I don't think you want to know." Y/n shook her head, not wanting to tell her father any of her injuries.

"But I do." Silva stated, trying to encourage her to open up.

"Few scrapes, bruises, nothing major." Y/n shrugged, half lying.

"That it?" Silva asked, reading through the lines.

"Uhuh." Y/h responded half out of it.

"Y/n, what you thinking?" Silva asked, realizing his daughter was only half listening.

"Just, thinking of when I'll see you again." Y/n stated, tears coming to her eyes.

"It won't be long, I'm sure of it. For now just sit tight and be the brave girl I know you can be." Silva encouraged his daughter, smiling slightly.

Y/n smiled slightly before looking up at the knock of a door, her frown disappearing as she recognized the knock.

"I gotta go. Andreas is here." Y/n spoke quickly into the phone, and Silva went stiff at the name.

"Be careful y/n, I love you so much and I am proud of you." Silva spoke, not wanting y/n to go but knowing the longer the spoke the more dangerous it would be of his location being found.

"I love you too dad. I'll see you soon." Y/n stated before hanging up and throwing the phone on the bed before answering the door to see Andreas standing there.

"Y/n, ready to train." Was all he asked and y/n gulped.

"I've already done training today." She stated.

"Not with me, Rosalind." The older man spoke and y/n shivered, flinching as pain shoot up her back.

Knowing there was no use in fighting, y/n nodded and willingly followed Andreas. The man narrowed his eyes at how willing y/n was but just shook his head, leading y/n towards the headmistresses office. Y/n sighed as she glanced at Beatrix who sat at the assistants desk. The element fairy smirked at y/n causing y/n to turn her vision straight ahead where Rosalind opened the door after Andreas knocked.

"I think it's time to start your magic control. Get you ready to protect the solarian throne." Rosalind spoke as she closed the door behind y/n, leaving it just her and the student.

"I told you I don't want to become a solarian guard." y/n stated before winching as she felt the diamond on her back.

"You will learn to do as you are told." Rosalind snapped, causing y/n to flinch more at he pain.

Sighing in defeat y/n nodded and Rosalind smiled in success and nodded before moving to her desk where she grabbed a book. Y/n looked at her as she placed the book in front of the student before looking down at the book. Reading the title, y/n looked back up at Rosalind in confusion.

"This is the book of sacred magic." Y/n stated.

"You need to know this book if your going to become a soldier." Rosalind stated.

"But..."

"Enough buts, get on with it or face consequences." Rosalind stated, holding her hand up, causing y/n to choke.

"Please, stop." Y/n gasped for air as she looked at Rosalind.

Eventually Rosalind stopped when y/n was near passing out. Y/n coughed out as she gained her breath back, and Rosalind moved closer to y/n, leaning down so she was close to her ear.

"Your fathers not here to protect you now y/n, remember that."

Y/n just sat there, staring ahead as she listened. 'I just ant to see my dad again' y/n thought as Rosalind moved away from her.

I Just Want My Dad- Pt1

Two months after her father was taken from her, y/n lay on the bed, scrolling through her phone as she looked at the pictures she had of her and her father. Many were from holidays they spent together, with one being a picture Sky had taken while Silva and her fake fought. Since the incident, y/n had tried to visit her father but any time she requested visitation hours, she was denied.

Andreas had taken to training her as a specialist, claiming that her abilities of a fairy were wasted if she wasn't willing to help the queen. Many times he placed her and Sky together, the two fighting till one was pinned to the ground, or an injury caused them to call quits. Majority of the time it was her, and as a result she was left with bruises scattered around her boy and stiff movement became her daily walking pattern. Y/n wasn't made to be a specialist and knew that she shouldn't really be training, more so focusing on her magic.

Since the changes happened in the school, y/n now stayed in the winx suite, Bloom having had convinced Rosalind that it would be best to have her around friends so she wasn't alone. It helped when the fire fairy pointed out that being around friends would mean that her fellow fire fairy wouldn't lose control if she felt like she belonged somewhere. Y/n's thoughts were disrupted when there was a knock on the door, and she hummed as she looked up as the door opened.

"We have magic practice in the circle in an hour." Aisha stated as she peeped her head through the crack of the open door. "Okay, I'll be there in a minute." Y/n nodded before sighing when door closed and turning off phone before getting up and heading to the circle.

"Your emotions are a barrier. Nothing more, nothing less. They're a power source. You've been told to control them." Rosalind explained, glancing at y/n as she stared ahead at the ground. "That isn't always the best option. In combat, you'll need to rely on instinct." She moved and stood in front of y/n, tapping her foot on the students causing y/n to look up "That's when you find true power. Bloom, y/n. Fire on fire, who wins against Marco, an air fairy."

Y/n looked at Rosalind from the side of her eye only to see the new headmistresses eye brow raised in a way that told her not to attempt anything stupid. She looked ahead to see Marco standing in front of the two fire fairies, getting ready to use his magic. Y/n glanced at Bloom who nodded at her in encouragement before they summoned a ball of fire each, throwing it at Marco only for him to shoot electric balls at them, distinguishing the fire as the two groaned. Y/n flicked her wrist and went to make a fire again only for Marco to shoot another ball of electric at her, hitting her shoulder causing her to gasp and fall to the ground in pain, feeling it travel to the metal object embedded in her back. Bloom sees her friend in pain so takes control of the situation, throwing ball of fire at the older fairy, only for Marco to distinguish that ball too. Bloom screams in frustration and allows her magic to get the better of her, and screamed in frustration, fire flowing over her arms.

"Good work Bloom." Rosalind praised as y/n watched Bloom calm down with wide eyes. "You okay?" Marco asked, helping y/n up off the ground. "Fine." Y/n sighed, accepting his help before moving to go sit down only for Rosalind to walk over to her. "Remember I have control over you." Rosalind whispered into y/ns ear before turning to the class, "Class dismissed."

Y/n eyes Rosalind before sighing and grabbing her back, opting to go watch Sky training for a bit. On her way she glanced towards Rosalind, seeing Bloom and her talking quietly. She just sighed and headed towards the specialist area, knowing Sky would need her with Andreas.

-----------------------------

Y/n walked towards the training area to see Sky and Dane walking towards a platform where Andreas was watching a group of specialists training together. She groans and rolls her eyes in annoyance when he glanced her way, tilting his head to side in a cocky way. Seeing his father watching something in the distance, Sky turns to see y/n and smiles at her slightly before getting into place opposite side of Dane.

"The little prince and the upstart. This should be good. Blood first." Andreas spoke with authority. Y/n looked at him with wide eyes as Sky gave him a look. "Worried about staining your new outfit? Maybe home economics is more your speed? Is that what Saul thought. Did he wear an apron?" Andreas looked at y/n with a smirk as she looked down with sadness, taunting Sky. "Come on, let's just do it. We're not going to hurt each other." Dane spoke, wanting it to be finished.

Y/n watched as Sky got his sword ready, Dane following suit. The two stood for a minute before yelling and grunting, charging for each other. Her eyes widened as the two began to fight rough, glancing o the side as she hears footsteps walking towards her. Her eyes meet Rivens who nods at her before watching the two specialists fighting. Seeing Riven and y/n close, Andreas walks over to her, standing between them as they watch.

"Odds?" He asks Riven, y/n eyeing them from the side. "First glance, it's Sky's to lose. Danes got shit to prove. A lot of pressure." Riven spoke and y/n flinched as the swords clashed together. "Yeah Sky will, uh, give him space, let him think he's winning, then find his opportunity. I give it three, two.. nah, thing is this isn't a first glance fight. Sky won't draw blood. Dane on the other hand."

Y/n gasped as Dane nipped Sky with his sword after Sky managed to get him on the ground, drawing blood. Sky moved back in shock, stumbling onto one knee as y/n watched Dane walk off the platform before making her way over to Sky. She stands beside him as he gets up before allowing her to look at the gash on his side. He flinches as she hits against the open wound, and y/n apologized, moving her hand away. The two look at Andreas as he sees' the specialist and fairy together, opting to walk towards them.

"Perhaps we should have y/n have a go at fighting with swords." Andreas stated, stopping in front of the two. "Leave it." Sky stated through gritted teeth. "Why your father never taught you fighting is beyond me, I actually think you'd make a good specialist, better than a fairy anyway." Andreas taunted before leaving.

Sky and y/n walk over to Riven who was watching the interaction. "He's a prick." Sky stated, watching his biological father walk away. "Yeah, and he's your dad. This mean you'll give me a run for my money one day?" Riven asked, smiling slightly. "Come on, let's get you checked out." Y/n sighed before leading Sky to the greenhouse, Riven and Dane following.

--------------------------------------------

After bringing Sky to the greenhouse and seeing Terra and other earth fairies begin the mend the specialist, y/n opted to leave the school building and sit under a tree for awhile. Taking out a book, y/n leaned back against the bark of the oak tree, before starting to revise over today's lesson. However, due to voices behind her she struggled to concentrate.

Since Silva had been arrested for the attempted murder of Andreas, everyone had heard the news and it was now currently the hot topic of choice for student conversations. They particularly liked to talk about how y/n was likely to struggle with control without her father, which also wasn't too far off it sometimes, if it wasn't for the diamond embedded in her back. What it was she still didn't know, and she refused to tell any of her suite mates about it.

Leaning her head back and sighing, y/n opts to close her eyes and take deep breaths before frowning, feeling eyes on her. Moving her vision forward, she sees Rosalind walking into the greenhouse with Harvey talking to her, however the headmistress wasn't listening as she watched the young fairy in the distance. The headmistress narrows her eyes and y/n flinches forward in pain, feeling the diamond on her back burning. Realizing she wasn't getting anywhere anytime soon, y/n sighed and gathered her stuff, deciding to go back to the suite and try to get some rest, unknown of the news she would soon receive.

Silva sat in the prison cell he had been placed in since his arrest, thinking about his daughter and wondering how she was. He knew how y/n was when things were hard, how vulnerable she became without him. The last time he had been gone for awhile was back during the hunting of the burned ones, and he never forgot the fear he had when she thought he she was going to lose him. And the look she gave him when he was arrested was one he would never forget, her screaming for him forever embedded in his mind, haunting him. Silva throws his head back in frustration but looks back up when the door was heard opening, Andreas walking in.

"How's it going soldier." Andreas said teasingly, moving closer to the cell his old friend sat. "Always the comedian Andreas." Silva stated jokingly, leaning back against the wall. "Yes well, just thought you would like to know how your precious daughter is getting on." Andreas stated, watching in amusement as Silva sat up straight at the mention of his only child. "Y/n, how is she, is she okay?" Silva asked, desperate to know how she was. "Oh she's fine, her fighting skills are coming along. Some specialist you could of had if you wanted." "Andreas don't do that to her, you said you'd watch over her for me. Just leave her be, she's enough going on already, she doesn't want to be that." Silva begged, not wanting his daughter to feel pressured into anything. "Oh I am watching her, we have her under control." Andreas stated before leaving Silva alone. "What's that meant to mean? What have you done to her, please just leave her be." Silva begged to know, only for his pleas to fall on deaf ears. "I'd hold onto the memories you have of your precious daughter Saul, I doubt you'll see her again." Andreas taunted the ex headmaster of Alfea before closing the door behind him.

Silva allowed tears fall silently as he realized his faith was all but sealed, when all he wanted was to see his daughter.

I Just Want My Dad- Prologue

Y/n stood with Sky and Silva at the entrance of the school, relieved that the whole burned ones were over. Y/n leaned on her father in content as his arm was wrapped around her shoulder, both relieved that both were okay. Sky smiled at y/n slightly before continuing his conversation with Silva.

Y/n was a fire fairy, having got her fairy traits from her mother, who she never knew as she left when she was three. Her dad practically raised her himself, her and Sky, who was two years older than her and taken in by her father when she was five. Sky's father was y/n's godfather so Sky and Y/n had always been close, and always considered each other brother and sister. She never knew much about Sky's father, just knowing that he had died during an attack on the burned ones before. Silva never told her how he died, only telling Sky recently the truth.

Y/n's thoughts were interrupted when she heard the sounds of cars on the gravel leading to the school. She looked ahead at the gates to see black cars coming into view, solarian flags flying in the front of the bonnet. Sky and y/n looked at each other, frowning in confusion.

"Dad, Why are the solarians here" Y/n asked her father, looking up at him in confusion. "I dunno, I told them the attack was over." Silva replied to his daughter, watching as the cars came to a stop. The trio watched as soldiers jumped out of the cars, forming a circle around them. "What the hell is going on?" Sky asked, going for his sword only for Silva to stop him. "Sky." Silva warned, glancing at the blonde before turning his attention back to the front as the Queen came into view. "The queen." Sky stated, looking down at y/n to see her reaction.

Y/n had always had mixed feelings about the queen, and the royal family as a whole. When she was young, just after her mother had left her and her father, the queen had tried to take y/n away from her father. Queen Luna believed that y/n was special, why y/n was never told, and wanted her to fight with the solarian soldiers, a protector of royalty of some sorts.

Silva watched his daughter carefully and seeing the wariness on her face, took her hand and squeezed it in comfort, smiling in reassurance when she looked up at him. As the Queen stopped in front of tem he stood in front of her, watching as Luna looked over y/n.

"Y/n Silva, still as beautiful as I remember." Queen Luna commented on the young fairy as she hid behind her father. "Your majesty." Silva nodded, trying to get the attention off his daughter. "Saul Silva, it is with a heavy heart that I must put you under arrest." Queen Luna spoke, looking at the specialist with a poker face. "For what?" Sky asked, moving closer towards those he called family. "For the attempted murder of Andreas of Eraklyon." Y/n looked at her dad with horror, not believing what had been said. "Attempted?" Y/n asked softly, causing Silva and Luna to look down at her, her father pulling her closer to him. A door was heard causing everyones attention to turn ahead as someone stepped out of the car. "Hello Sky." The man with a beard stated with a ruff voice. "Dad." Sky asked with wide eyes.

Y/n turned to her father as footsteps were heard coming towards them, Silva's heart dropping at the look of fear on her face. Deciding to comfort her before it was too late, he took both her hands and turned her to face him before bringing a hand to her cheek, smiling slightly as tears built in both of their eyes.

"It's going to be okay, alright. Stay with Sky, okay, he'll look after you." Silva stated in a rush, kissing her head and going to hug her only to be pulled back. "No, dad, dad." Y/n cried, rushing towards him only to be pulled back. "You'll be fine y/n." Her dad tried to comfort her as he was pulled towards the car. "No, daddy please, don't leave me." Y/n shouted in pain, trying to get to her father only for soldiers to hold her back. "I'll be okay y/n, everything will be fine, just stay calm and don't lose control." Silva stated, his heart breaking as he heard his daughter called out, unable to comfort her as she only called him that when she was vulnerable. "Dad, no." Y/n cried, her voice going hoarse, bringing her hand up to the soldiers and burning them to let go of her. "It's okay, you have Sky." Her dad stated as the queen blocked y/n's vision when her father was placed in the car. "Shush child, it will all be okay." The queen tried to comfort her only for her to flinch and form a fire ball in her hand. "No, no, no." Y/n muttered continuously, watching as the car drove off, Silva glancing back at his daughter for the last time. "Y/n, it's okay." Sky stated once he was freed from the soldiers hold, moving to comfort his unbiological sister. "Sky, my dad, he.." Y/n was unable to speak. "Come here." Sky stated, pulling the younger girl into a hug, kissing her forehead slightly.

Y/n cried into Sky's chest as Sky comforted her, him watching as the fire she created slowly distinguishing as she eased into his comfort. Sniffs were heard from the young girl as she tried to calm down, Sky shushing her as he rubbed her back.

Seeing movement from the corner of his eye, Sky turned his attention to the side only to see Andreas, his father, walking towards Queen Luna with a box in his hands. His eyes only narrowed in concern as he watched the queen open it and take out a diamond spiderlike object

"Wait, what are you doing?" Sky asked as the Queen began walking towards them, causing y/n to turn and look in fear. "Things are about to change here, and with her emotions y/n is a threat." The queen spoke, moving closer to the two students. "Your actions are what caused her emotions." Sky stated angrily, grabbing y/n and pushing her behind him. "Doesn't matter, y/n needs to be controlled." The queen stated, moving towards y/n only for Sky to step in her way. "Sky, move." Andreas warned his son, crossing his arms. Sky looked at her father before looking at y/n who looked at him in fear. "Sky, please." Y/n begged, not knowing what was to happen. "Y/n." Sky stated, not used to seeing her so vulnerable, only for soldiers to force him out of the way. "This will help us control you if needed, we wouldn't want any accidents now, would we." The queen spoke before turning y/n around and moving down her jacket, embedding the object into her back.

Y/n screamed in pain, trying to get away from the thing that was being stuck into her back. Sky tried but failed to escape the guards grip, leaving him to only watch as y/n cried out. Seconds later the Queen stepped back and y/n looked back at the metal object that was not lodged into her back before glancing back at the Queen, noticing Rosalind joining the royals side.

"Things are about to change y/n, I'd hate to have to use more force on you." Rosalind spoke before they all walked away.

The guards let go of Sky before following their leaders tail, allowing Sky to rush over to Y/n. He grabbed her arm as he reached her and gently forced her to turn around so he could look at the foreign object in her back. Y/n groaned in pain as he touched it.

"Sorry." Sky apologized, removing his hand from it. "What is it Sky?" Y/n asked, not able to look back. "I dunno, I've never seen anything like it before." Sky stated, frowning in concern as his hand moved against the blood that dripped. "What's going to happen to my dad." Y/n asked, tearing up again. "I dunno y/n, he'll go for trial but after that, it's up to the queen really." Placing y/ns jack back over her shoulder before turning her to face him, "But you and I, we need to stick together, I don't know what's going to happen next but whatever that is, we'll have each other okay." Sky stated, putting a hand on y/n's uninjured shoulder in comfort. "I just want my dad." Y/n stated, face scrunching as tears began to fall.

Sky sighed and pulled y/n into a hug, not knowing what to say that would comfort the essentially newly fatherless girl. He knew that Silva was doubtful in having a easy outcome, and right now he couldn't really care less, but he was going to be there for y/n regardless, she didn't do anything to him.

Realizing that it wouldn't be a great idea to leave y/n on her own tonight, Sky opted to bring her to his room, it was part of break anyway so no one would be around. When they reached his dorm the two just sat in silence until y/n began crying loudly, unable to catch her breath. Sky just pulled her into his chest and lay back on the bed, knowing that this night was going to be a restless one. Afterall, the girl just wanted her dad.
