Ron was asleep, his muscles and shoulder felt really bad and he was incredibly tired. Right on top of him, was Hermione. Her brown golden curls were falling like curtains that surrounded her face. Her beautiful eyes were shining as she gazed at him from below. He wanted to move, to touch her like she deserved to be touched, but for some reason he couldn’t move. It was as if he had been petrified and he could only gaze as she began to lower her head towards his. Just when he thought she might’ve kissed him she lowered her mouth near his ear.
Taking the chance he licked and kissed her neck, it tasted like blood and metal. Weird, but he was tasting Hermione’s skin and he wasn’t about to complain about that.
“Ron,” she whispered. Fuck, it was the sexiest thing he’d ever heard. “Ron,” a little louder and he silently begged for more. “Ron,” that wasn’t as quiet as the others. “Ron!”
Ron’s eyes snapped open. He looked around, he was surrounded by most of his friends, as well as some other people from Gryffindor. Hermione was kneeling down her face clearly worried and with marks on the sides of her head where it looked like she clawed with her nails. He unconsciously licked his lips and recognized the taste of metal and blood. Fred and George were also there and although they looked quite worried were snickering silently. Ron sent them a glare, as he couldn’t move.
“Ron,” he turned to look at Hermione. “Are you alright?”
“Yeah,” he said, trying to nod his head, but failing. “I just won’t be able to move for a while, but other than that I’m pretty good. Where’s Gryffindor?”
“I’m here,” Gryffindor said, kneeling on Ron’s right side. “Drink this,” in his hand was a glass bottle with viscous yellowish substance inside.
“No thanks,” said Ron, grimacing at the view of whatever the hell Gryffindor was trying to feed him. Gryffindor sighed, then he grabbed Ron’s chin forcefully and pried his mouth open. Ron for his part closed his mouth as tight as he could and this time Gryffindor had a hard time opening it. He put the large bottle down and handed it to Hermione.
“When I tell you to,” he told her. “Pour it in his mouth. It’ll help,” Hermione looked quite conflicted with herself, but if it meant helping her friends Ron knew what she was willing to do.
Gryffindor took a hold of Ron’s nose cutting off his breathing, Ron held on to the air inside his mouth as long as he could until he had to take in some air. He opened his mouth in a loud gasp and Gryffindor held his jaw.
“Now! Fill his mouth and don’t overdo it!” Gryffindor exclaimed. Hermione began pouring the viscous substance into his mouth. It filled Ron’s mouth, it was cold and it felt as if a weird slime was pouring inside his mouth. Ron closed his mouth and forced himself to swallow, however the unpleasant feeling inside his stomach or the disgusting taste never came. Instead, he tasted bananas and chocolates along with very cold milk, and his body, which was burning, tired and exhausted, felt cooler and more relaxed.
“Hmmmmm,” he moaned, closing his eyes and savouring the taste. “What is that?” He asked.
“It's a banana smoothie,” Gryffindor said, his eyebrow arched. “Right now, you’re experiencing cramps so intensely your body has stopped moving temporarily. So if you want to walk today instead of staying in bed all day. Drink. The bloody. Smoothie.”
Ron squinted his eyes at Gryffindor in a small glare and opened his mouth. Hermione for her part put the bottle to Ron’s mouth as he began to drink, he had closed his eyes at the moment and so he didn’t notice Hermione staring at his Adam's apple bobbing, her cheeks a light pink. By the time the bottle ended Ron could move again, however his left arm still hurt when he tried to use it. As Ron checked himself he noticed his robes at first, only his pants were actually unscathed, his upper half clothes had been burned and slashed to the point that it was comical how much he was revealing and how much he had uncovered.
The blood that was on his body and clothes was not that much, perhaps half a cup at most. The cut had hurt far worse than it probably should have. He wasn’t even that worried about the blood, he was more worried about the pink and bright scars that were on his shoulder now.
He looked around ready to ask Gryffindor what exactly had happened when he was nowhere to be seen.
Gryffindor was walking angrily towards the Headmaster’s office. Of course it had to have been one of Salazar’s students who would break the rules and against his Champion no less, no one else could be that petty.
‘You could,’ said a small voice that sounded like Rowena.
‘Shut up,’ he continued until he was in front of the stone gryphon. He said the password and made his way up the stairs. When he opened the door making his way in, hell resonated in his ears.

“We’ll take a quick break,” said Hufflepuff. “Before the duels start. Feel free to head to the Great Hall for a quick meal. Champions you may go first. Next, it is the students’ turn. And then, the professors’ and the staff.”
The Champions stood up and looked at each other, before Ron held his stomach. All four of them were hungry as they had eaten nothing that morning as they were preparing for their entrances. The four stared at each other before they began walking towards the same direction, then Cedric glanced at his right looking at Luna and sped up slightly. Ron looked to his own right seeing Cedric speeding up and he too sped up. It only took all but four seconds for the four of them to begin sprinting towards the Great Hall.
When Ron arrived at the Great Hall, neck to neck with the others he found himself staring at the feast prepared for the whole school. He looked at the others, Luna for some reason had a panting smile on her face, while Cedric held a smirk of his own. Daphne Greengrass, however, was the only one similar who seemed completely serious.
The four dug in as they sat at their separate tables. Ron couldn’t help but to stare at Daphne Greengrass as she elegantly cut her food before putting a piece of steak in her mouth and chewing slowly like a real snob.
Ron for his part didn’t really care about being appropriate as he shoved entire spoonfuls of food inside his mouth.
‘She’s bloody crazy,’ thought Ron. ‘Honestly, she cut that graphorn like it was nothing. She’s so–’
——————————————————————————————————
‘Bloody annoying,’ thought Daphne. ‘There’s no way anyone, and Ron Weasley at that, can get that good in such a short amount of time. It’s so obvious he’s just a–’
——————————————————————————————————
‘Bloody maniac is what she is.’
Students began to pour in the Great Hall, the professors’ close behind the large group of students. Most of the students came barreling through the entrance and went straight to the Champions as they congratulated them. Harry and Hermione sat beside Ron.
“That was amazing, Ron,” she said as she sat down hugging him. Ron’s ears went red. “Are you sure you’re alright?”
“Y-yeah,” said Ron, clearing his head. “Yeah, I’m alright. Madame Pomfrey only said it was a broken rib, nothing she couldn’t fix.”
Ron’s friends nodded, before they had to do a double take as they watched the Gryffindor Champion continue with his meal as if he hadn’t just revealed a critical injury for most people.
“What?!” almost everyone exclaimed.
“What?” said Ron looking around as he swallowed the piece of steak he had been chewing. “It’s nothing, really.”
“Nothing?!” shrieked Hermione. “Ron, a broken rib is a serious injury, you can’t just say it’s nothing!”
“Oh come on,” said Ron. “This stuff would make Dementors blush.”
“No, seriously, Ron,” continued Hermione, her tone a mix of worry and admonishment. “You broke your arm during the last Quidditch Match and just put it back as if it was nothing, and then there was about a month and a half ago when Harry and I found you passed out on the floor of the Quidditch Locker Rooms, Gryffindor had said that you had been too exhausted from your training with him and you still went to Quidditch Practice.”
——————————————————————————————————
As Hermione said all this Ron tried his best not to choke on a piece of pork he had shoved in his mouth a little too forcefully. The two continued to throw argument after argument before they decided to resign themselves to their meals.
Harry stared between his two best friends, and while just a few weeks ago he would’ve been relieved to see them bicker like always he internally called his past self from three weeks ago a fool.
——————————————————————————————————
Hufflepuff clapped loudly and everyone stopped what they were doing, excited for the next part of the Match that day. The duels. Everyone made their way back to the Quidditch Pitch. Ron watched as Harry, Hermione, Ginny and the twins were taking to the Gryffindor high tower in the stands as he’d asked. Other people were also brought to other towers, Sue Li, Neville and Padma Patil went to the Ravenclaw tower, while Ernie MacMillan, Hannah Abbott and Tamsin Applesbee were led to the Hufflepuff one. Ron wasn’t surprised to see that only Astoria Greengrass, Daphne’s sister, had been chosen for the Slytherin tower.
The sorting hat once more began to float, but this time she went to each and one of the Champions. Like Gryffindor instructed Ron, he put a piece of parchment with his name inside the hat as did the other from what he could see.
The hat floated to the side of the field and began to murmur before seemingly chewing on nothing, before he spat something out. A small ball of parchment paper suddenly exploded into a ball of fire, and Ron seemed to appear in the middle of the air, with his Tournament robes and sword. His name appeared above the sort of translucent image of him.
The hat spat something out once more, once more a small ball of parchment paper was spat into the air, but this time it turned into dust and exploded into a small sand balloon. Cedric with his robes, wand and mallet appeared in the air looking like a ghost, similar to Ron. His name above him.
“Ron Weasley and Cedric Diggory, make your way to the field!” Shouted the sorting hat.

Percy’s office was filled with the intense sounds of snogging between him and his girlfriend, Audrey. She was perhaps everything that Percy was not. Brilliant in a way that didn’t annoy her friends who Percy had the misfortune of meeting on a very off day of his where he had worn a ridiculously colourful outfit given to him by Dumbledore for Christmas. She was funny and made snarky remarks that had managed to make him snort milk through his nose.
She was perfect. And the fact that she was really bloody sexy also helped. Right now she had arrived at his office to his complete surprise, she was apparently there to not only visit him, but also for a surprise. He was on his way to the Great Hall early as today was the day of the Demonstration Match everyone was talking about, it was more anticipated than the last Quidditch Match which had ended terribly from what he’d seen.
The Keeper for the Ravenclaw team had nearly gotten his head knocked off after Duncan Inglebee from his same team had accidentally sent it his way when Cho Chang had screamed out orders at him. People say that she burst into tears after the match was over.
And now it was his duty to report to the Minister any suspicious activity coming from Dumbledore. The Minister suspected that Dumbledore would use the large amount of attention given to the school event to sneak from Hogwarts and plan something against the Minister. It was… an interesting idea, not really fitting to Dumbledore if Percy were to be honest, but he wasn’t there to be honest, he was there to fulfil the job he had been given.
Which was pretty difficult seeing as Audrey had told him he looked incredibly adorable with the robes he’d decided to wear today, which happened to be some of his common clothes that he normally used. In a second she had pounced on him and locked her lips with his. He would have to leave in a couple of moments or a couple of minutes… yeah a couple of minutes never hurt anybody did they?
Her tongue seemed to dance with his as her thin fingers moved through his hair almost tearing at his scalp deliciously. How did a prat like him get a girl like her? He didn’t know, he just knew that from the moment he had met that brilliant and incredible woman he had become putty in her hands. She was quite the opposite of what he would think would be his type –rebellious, mischievous and every other synonym of those words that ended with -ous.
After their first date where Percy had managed to make himself look like a stuttering, stammering mess of a wizard she had found him “adorably amusing” and kissed him goodnight.
It was on their third date that she had hinted for him to spend the night, and for all his Gryffindor bravery he had almost cowered under her predatory gaze. Yet, that night he might as well have fallen in love, her flat stomach that he covered with kisses, her breasts and collarbones that made him go crazy and even her arms with moving tattoos manage to absolutely bewitch him. It wasn’t his first time, that had been with Penelope, but it certainly felt as magical.
Then there was the working part of her, and he was quite embarrassed when he got a stiffy from watching her fill out a bunch of paperwork in her flat the handful of times he had been there. The way she didn’t miss a detail in her work, her eyebrows would furrow and she would take out some reading glasses. He had waited for her to finish just to take her again.
Blimey, his girlfriend really was amazing, so amazing in fact that he didn’t hear the knock on the door until it swung open.
“Mr Weasley, have you seen– Oh my!”
Percy and Audrey separated as if the other burned like hot fire. Percy tucked his shirt back inside his trousers, while Audrey rearranged her messy hair. By the doorway there was a very annoyed and mildly embarrassed Madame Pomfrey, she had the decency of closing her eyes.
“M-Madame Pomfrey!” he sputtered. “W-what the blood- What are you doing here?!”
“I’m here, Mr Weasley,” she explained as she opened her eyes. “Because a fellow healer by the name of Audrey Alysnes was supposed to come in by your office and then to me.”
Percy turned around with a surprised expression on his face, a sort of nervous smile took over Audrey’s features as she shook her hands and said.
“Surprise.”
“WHAT?!” Percy almost bellowed.
“Yes Mr Weasley,” said Pomfrey. “As you know the Demonstration Match is taking place today. As such I demanded the attendance of another healer in case there were any injuries during said Match. They were supposed to arrive at my office about ten minutes ago.”
Both Audrey and Percy blushed as Audrey kissed his cheek and followed Pomfrey out of his office. Percy sat down, his face in his hands. He rubbed his eyes. This was going to be a long day, and not just because of what happened.
The day after the Quidditch Match on Sunday the Four Founders had announced that each Champion was supposed to engage in a challenge given by a different founder than their own and in a duel determined during the match.
They conjured the sorting hat and waved their wands at it while muttering an incantation that Percy didn’t know.
“Luna Lovegood!” it had spat out. Gryffindor immediately raised his hand choosing her for a challenge he would be preparing. The red haired man looked at Rowena Ravenclaw and winked his eye, and Percy saw as she blushed before turning her head away. They repeated their process and aimed at the sorting hat again.
“Ron Weasley!” Hufflepuff seemed excited and was about to raise her hand when Salazar Slytherin raised his own. The Dark Wizard stared at Percy’s younger brother with a sort of malicious smirk. His greyish green eyes seemed to shimmer in a way that reminded Percy of Dumbledore. It was a mischievous and almost terrifying look. Ron for his part didn’t look too eager. Some Slytherins seemed incredibly smug and were smiling amongst each other, in particular Malfoy.
Cedric Diggory had ended up with Ravenclaw, while Daphne Greengrass had been put with Hufflepuff. Percy didn’t particularly care for those three, he was more concerned with his baby brother at the claws of Salazar bloody Slytherin.

“H-Helena?” Gryffindor breathed out, and Ron felt suddenly uncomfortable being in the same room as the two. The Grey Lady seemed like she had been the one to stare at a ghost, but Ron saw as her eyes suddenly filled with silver tears and she floated away. Gryffindor seemed rooted to his spot as if he had been petrified in his place, but something seemed to shake him off from his daze.
“Helena, wait!” Gryffindor said as he reached out to the Grey Lady, but it was too late by the time he had taken his first step she had rounded the corner and passed through the ceiling above.
Ron’s master had a face of pure rejection and grief, Gryffindor sank down to his knees as his head bowed down in defeat. Ron looked around checking for anyone that could be nearby, seeing no one he walked to Gryffindor’s side. Gryffindor looked heartbroken, he wore a similar expression to the one Ron had sometimes spotted on Sirius’ expression whenever his time at Azkaban was mentioned, or Harry’s parents.
Gryffindor was tall, taller even than Ron’s father who was the tallest adult, besides Hagrid, he’d ever met. His large body made it hard for Ron to find a way to sit down without looking like a midget. Still he stayed by his side as he stared down at the floor like a defeated man. He turned his head and looked at Ron giving the young Weasley a strained smile he ruffled Ron with his large hand and looked at him amusedly.
“You need a haircut, ginger cub,” he said. He stood up to his full height, cleaned invisible dust off Ron’s shoulders and cleared his throat. “Well, I think I’ll go to sleep tonight. Make sure you rest, Ron. Good night.”
“Master Gryffindor?” but Gryffindor was already walking away, a somber aura surrounding him as he walked the halls of Hogwarts alone. Ron looked at the retreating figure of his mentor and tried to follow him, but as soon as he took a step in his trail Gryffindor’s voice boomed across the hallway.
“Go back to your dorm and forget about it, Ronald,” it was intimidating, like a lion who could talk instead of roar, but Ron only looked at his mentor as he walked away. Ron debated going back to the Common Room as Gryffindor suggested, but instead he followed his mentor as he roamed the halls of Hogwarts. The cold night offered no warmth for Ron, yet he didn’t mind it. Gryffindor had comforted him when he had made a fool of himself in his first Quidditch Match, trying to help him was the least he could do.
He followed him to the training room where Ron could see that Gryffindor had sat down on a chair with his head in his hands. The older wizard seemed exhausted, like someone who’d just gone through a war, and Ron wouldn’t be surprised if he had. Gryffindor lifted his head, and Ron froze in his spot, the older wizard sighed and conjured a second chair giving Ron the hint to sit down.
Gryffindor had taken off his gloves and rolled up the sleeves of his top leaving his numerous scars out in the open. It was haunting the amount he had, some were so disturbingly complex that they almost looked like tattoos, and Ron wondered to himself what kind of magic could do that.
“Magic that can kill you,” Gryffindor almost growled, his voice seemed raspy as if he had just let out a scream and had lost his voice. The two stayed silent, Ron trying his best to keep his mind blank so that Gryffindor couldn’t read it.
“Master?” Gryffindor hummed, signaling Ron to ask the question he knew the young boy had.
“Are you alright?”
——————————————————————————————————
Gryffindor clearly hadn’t expected that, but he still managed to hide his surprise. What was he supposed to say? Yes, I’m alright young Ronald, I’ve only seen the ghost of my daughter for the first time because believe it or not I’m actually the most cowardly man you have ever met. He rubbed his eyes trying very hard to extinguish the tears before they even threatened to escape his eyes. Gryffindor shook his head.
Ron only nodded and stayed silent. Something gnawed at his mind, and Gryffindor must have underestimated his mind skills, because even though he knew Ron wanted to desperately ask something he wouldn’t reveal what it was, no matter what.
Gryffindor didn’t know how long the two had stayed like that. Almost frozen in time as his thoughts dwelled on Helena. She hadn’t changed, not one bit. A mirror of his mother in every single way from her black eyes to her sleek black hair and pale skin. He couldn’t have been more proud when he was born, because even when she looked almost nothing like him except for her freckles she was everything he could ever hope for in a daughter.

I SHIFTED (to hogwarts) LAST NIGHT AND HERE ARE SOME STORIES/THINGS THAT HAPPENED INCASE ANYONE WANTS THEM OR NOT ITS FINE IM JUST EXCITED AHH
THIS IS REALLY LONG IM SO SORRY YOU DONT HAVE TO READ IF U DONT WANT TO I LOVE U ANYWAY <3
((I spent like 4ish months at hogwarts when I shifted))
Im a slytherin in my 6th year
Im dating Fred!!!!!!!!!
My absolute best friends are Draco, Cedric, and Ron
And the others in my group are Harry, Hermione and George
All of us walk to the great hall together every day and sit by each other, and then split off after depending on who has classes with who
Draco and I have a brother-sister kinda dynamic , so we pick on each other a lot but have each other's back [slytherin buddiesss]
while Ced and I are the cuddly best friends (NO ROMANCE) who are attached at the hip (when I'm not with Fred lol)
Ron and I are the comedic duo and we always say the stupidest shit- we are the lives of the party, usually always partners in herbology and potions
Ron and Draco literally argue all the damn time but they will behave if I ask them to lol
ok ok ok ok FRED
He takes muggle studies the hour I have care of magical creatures and he always insists on picking me up from COMC even though it's so far and he's always out of breath, but he's always waiting for me as my class ends.
"I nearly knocked snape over on my way down here today"
I literally told him he should just take his broom down instead of fucking sprinting across the grounds and he was baffled like "THATS SUCH A GOOD IDEA WHAT WOULD I DO WITHOUT YOU"
Always calls me darling, love, sweetheart
Cedric accidentally knocked my books out of my arms one day and said "sorry love, let me help you with that" and Fred got so red and pissed off that ced called me that lmao
Now that I'm starting to remember more Fred got jealous of Diggory a lot- ced gave me a teddy bear for my bday and kissed the top of my head (a friendly kiss no flirtiness) and Fred left and came back with a bigger teddy bear and ced got upset so I had to tell Fred to apologize but now everyone's all good
Fred is so possessive oml- his arms are always around me sometimes I can't breathe through his death grip
I FUCKING KNOCKED OVER MY CAULDRON IN POTIONS AND IT BURNED THROUGH SNAPES SHOE AND RON WAS MY PARTNER AND HE JUST MUMBLED "never in my life did I think I would see snapes toes"
We got detention lmao
HUFFLEPUFFS THROW THE BEST PARTIES MOVE OVER GRYFFINDOR
Seamus blew up my pumpkin juice at dinner and Draco picked up his goblet of water and just splashed it at Seamus's face and it started a food fight
((there weren't like, labeled house tables?? Everyone was all just sitting together and it was so nice, usually Draco sits next to me bc he prefers to talk to me over the others--Seating arrangement is Draco, me, Fred, George and then across the table is Ced, Ron, Harry, & hermione,,, other than that it's just random around us))
DRACO FLINCHES WHEN HERMIONE RAISES HER ARM FOR LITERALLY ANYTHING BECAUSE HE THINKS SHES GONNA PUNCH HIM AGAIN AHHH
Fred and George have tried to switch multiple times to see if I noticed but I always did
Fred took me to hogsmeade and started buying me everything my eyes lingered on for more than a second and I was like freddie where the hell are u getting this money from and he said he made a huge [illegal] quidditch bet with lee
I HAVE NICKNAMES FOR EVERYONE THEY SOUND MEAN BUT WE ALL TEASE EACH OTHER ITS OKAY
Fred: Freddie, Frrrrrredrick, bear (idk why lol)
Cedric: Ced, sunshine (sarcastically)
Ron: *yells across the great hall/classroom/grounds* RONALD, dumbass
Draco: Drake (he rolls his eyes but he totally loves it), bleach (joke on his hair), blondie, your highness (when he's acting bitchy)
George: idiot
Hermione: 'mione, smartie, gal
Harry: Harold even tho his name isn't Harold I call him Harold all the damn time and now people ask if his name is Harold and he just sighs deeply every time someone asks him
Me: everyone calls me princess, I bring everyone together they all love me it's literally my perfect world I love them all so much
I have a lot of little details about fashion and like what we all wear so here they are

Molly weasley made me a jumper🥺its got my initial on it and she made it green for slytherin
Literally half of my wardrobe is stuff I've stolen from my guy friends. When things get too small on them they all go to me. Fred's pj pants w/ the gryffindor crest on them, dracos old jumper, ced's old quidditch jersey, a warm hat that Ron had but he got a new one and didn't need his anymore
I'm a keeper for slytherin so I get to play with Draco and playing against gryffindor is absolutely hilarious becsuse half of my friends are on the team and also Freddie
We had a five hour game once and Draco FAKE FAINTED so the game would stop- it was a draw and no one knows he fake fainted except for me
Freddie got a necklace for me with his initials on it and I wear it every day
Ron and I sneak into the kitchen at midnight on fridays, sometimes we bake, most of the time we just eat so much food
I TAUGHT THEM VINES AND SNAPE THOUGHT WE WERE CASTING A CURSE OR SOMETHING WHEN I WHISPERED "it is Wednesday my dudes" and Ced, Ron, Fred, George and I all went aaaaaaaaAAAAAAAHHHHHHH and disrupted class
KINDA NSFW WARNING: Fred is perfect omg. I don't want to get SUPER into the spicy details but this man KNOWS WHAT HE WANTS, he's rough yet soft, it's always so loving, HES SUCH A TEASE. When he loses a quidditch game, especially against slytherin(me mwahaha) is when it's the most rough (more motivation for me to play my best I guess), and if I'm upset or we're tired or something that's when it's the softest. We use the room of requirement and a few times it was the quidditch lockers 🤭🤭
My friends are fucking the best, we get into trouble all the time and all of us were speed walking down the hall and laughing because we were all going to go prank the ravenclaws and mcgonnagall saw us walking and started to say something and then just let out an exasperated sigh and turned the other way
SNAPE TOLD DRACO HE WAS TOO GOOD TO BE HANGING AROUND WITH US SO ME AND DRACO PUT A SLEEPING POTION IN HIS GOBLET DURING DINNER AND HE PASSED OUT ON THE TABLE
Overall snape hates me lmao
Harry came back from dumbledore office saying he asked him to go on some stupid quest and I went to his office with 'mione and we told him to stop making harry do stupid shit that could get him killed, well i said that and ''mione asked a bit more nicely lmao
Cormac grabbed my ass when I was walking with Draco and Draco pushed him down the moving staircase
I got called to demonstrate how to pull out a baby mandrake and I put my earmuffs on and pulled it out immediately but forgot to check if everyone else had their earmuffs on and HALF THE CLASS PASSED OUT and Cedric had his on and he just started slow clapping
I HAVE MORE BUT THIS IS ALREADY WAYYYY TOO LONG SO BYE
Pls don't judge 🙏
BOO I HAS SUGGESTION/REQUEST
Cedric (deadric) Diggory x slytherin reader
she overheard another student gossiping about something that pissed her off and she storms into the great hall to confront the asshole gossiper student but Cedric stops her and takes her away to attemp to calm her down (ced and y/n are a couple)
Cedric Diggory x Slytherin!Granger!Reader
POV: Cedric helps calm his girlfriend down
A/n: I'm baaackkkkkkkkk, ik this isn't normally the char i write for but, oh well. I apologise for how short this is (considering it took me like a month to write). The ravenclaw mentioned can be implied to be Cho, but it's never actually mentioned (I think). Send me more requests besties :)! Please note: I was messaging the person who requested this for a lil bit to get specific details for this oneshot done, hence why theres major details in the fic thats not mentioned in the request
Y/n Granger was a fan of many things her friends, her boyfriend, her pet snake, (some of) her classes and of course, her younger cousin Hermione. The two weren’t close by blood, in fact they were only second cousins and, before Hermione had been accepted to Hogwarts, they’d only really hung out at family events. Friendship wise however, they were practically best friends, Y/n had confided in Hermione about her crush on a boy in her year before Hermione had even been accepted to Hogwarts (of course Y/n never told Hermione where she went to school), then, during Y/n’s 5th year, had very happily told her younger cousin about said boy asking her out.
There were very few things Y/n didn’t like, very trivial things, like, Dark Wizards, her head of house, a certain Ravenclaw girl who had seemed to make it her mission to get as close as possible to Y/n’s boyfriend and most of all, gossip… or rather negative gossip, specifically when it was about her, her friends, her family, or her boyfriend.
Then, Y/n would find herself becoming awfully defensive. That’s how, just a few days before the Christmas holidays, the 6th year witch found herself storming into the great hall after overhearing a group of Ravenclaws gossiping about her.
“That Granger girl- no not Potters friend, the Slytherin one- she’s so… weird. I don’t know what Diggory sees in her.”
“I know right? Y’know, I heard a rumour, that Diggory and… y’know who were dating just before 5th year, but… secretly, and Granger got jealous and went all psycho, and put Diggory under a love potion!”
“I wouldn’t put it past her, you’ve seen her in potions, right? I doubt she’s ever actually made anything Professor Snapes told us to make, always hunched over her cauldron giggling to herself.”
“I always thought she was so creepy, and so mean too- you see the way she treats-”
The group had then moved down the hall, until it was impossible for any ordinary person to hear them without the help of magic, though Y/n didn’t need to hear much more, she’d already heard enough to be pissed, she was, of course, no stranger to rumours being spread about her, she’d been dealing with them since she was a first year, and, as she was most certain was true for this, they’d always been spread by the same Ravenclaw girl. From the moment they’d met, this Ravenclaw girl had had it out for Y/n, whether it be because the girl liked Cedric and even before they’d started dating Y/n had always been far closer to him than this Ravenclaw girl would ever be to him, or because Y/n was just the better witch, Y/n had no clue, the only thing Y/n knew for certain was that this girl despised her, and so in turn, Y/n despised the girl.
So, all other, more reasonable senses blurred, Y/n turned on her heel, whipping her wand out of her pocket and marching her way down to the Great Hall. Her grip on her wand was so tight she’d felt her knuckles grow pale, she pushed past various students who’d been either entering or exiting the Great Hall and standing at the entrance for a moment, scanning the area, until, her eyes landed on that specific Ravenclaw girl, sat on the other side of the room, surrounded by other girls in their year, very likely she was fabricating some other story to further mar Y/n’s reputation.
Not sparing a moment to think, she continued to storm her way through the Great Hall, she wasn’t quite sure what exactly she was going to do, only that she wanted to make this witch suffer. When she was only a few paces away from this girl, she felt someone suddenly grip her arm, it was gentle, but tight enough so she couldn’t force her arm free if she wanted to.
“Let go of me!” She hissed, trying to wrangle her arm out of this persons grip as they gently pulled her in the opposite direction “I will hex you!” “Oh will you now sunshine?” The person spoke, still guiding her out of the Great Hall.
She almost instantly relaxed in the persons grip once she heard their voice, allowing them to bring her outside the hall.
“I could.” She stated, voice less aggressive as they came to a stop a few feet away from the entrance to the Hall.
“Well, I don’t doubt that.” Cedric said gently as they now stood facing each other, Cedric grabbing her hand and giving it a slight squeeze “Are you okay?” “Fine.” “Really? Because you were storming over to the Ravenclaw table with a look in your eyes that screamed ‘murder’.” Cedric stated, quirking a brow “Not to mention your knuckles have gone white from how tightly you were holding your wand.” “Okay. Maybe I’m not completely fine.” Y/n admitted with a sigh “It’s just… her again.”
“I thought we talked about this after the last time Y/n.” Cedric muttered gently, running his thumb over the back of her hand.
“I know, I can’t let her affect me so much, but- she’s just constantly going out of her way to mess with me, to try and ruin my life, so why shouldn’t I get to ruin her face a little?” Y/n complained, glancing down at their intertwined hands.
“Well for starters you’d very likely be expelled, and as much as I love you, I don’t really fancy spending hundreds of Galleons on parchment paper every few weeks so I can send you a daily owl instead of just getting to talk to you face to face.” Cedric spoke, a small smile on his face as he heard Y/n release a soft laugh.
“If you win the Triwizard tournament you’ll have plenty of funds to do that.” She murmured, a small grin on her lips.
“That’s a big if sunshine.” Cedric smiled, gently kissing her cheek, causing her to playfully scrunch her nose up “And secondly, getting all mad at her like this, as attractive as I find it, won’t help now, will it? It’ll just be giving her what she wants.” “I suppose.” Y/n muttered, slightly bitterly. “Hey, remember, I’m dating you, not her, no matter what stories she tries to fabricate.” Cedric spoke, carefully tilting her head up so she was looking at him.
“You’ve heard that story too then, have you?” Y/n spoke, a small frown playing on her lips.
“Couple of times, my friends seem to enjoy teasing me with it.” Cedric answered, gently stroking her cheek “You can’t let her get to you Y/n, just ignore her, okay? She’ll get bored eventually.”
“It’s been six years and she’s yet to become bored.” Y/n pointed out.
“Well, if she doesn’t, we can always laugh at her and her stories in private.” Cedric commented, leaning slightly closer “Okay?” “Okay.” Y/n murmured, a soft smile on her lips as she too leaned closer, until their lips met.
In that moment, all of Y/n’s grievances and irritations with this girl melted away, as she realised, that no matter what story this Ravenclaw girl crafted, or however else this spiteful girl attempted to damage Y/ns reputation, she knew that as long as Cedric was in her corner, she’d be perfectly fine.
I love Wolfstar, Deamus, and Scorbus (and TBH WE ALL KNOW WE ONLY READ THE CURSED CHILD SCRIPT BECAUSE OF THEM?!!??) Too much and if you want to fight or criticize me about go argue with the wall 🙂↔️🙏
Deamus is very canon in our eyes. Don't fight with me 🙇♀️
I didn't like the TCC plot itself (idk who does tbh) but I like the fact that Albus and Scorpius are like two outcasts I relate to them a lot personally...sorry.
Ron wasn't dumb, really. Well he isn't the book smart kind, but he knows how to get his way in most situations 🙂↕️
Lavender Brown DESERVES better and I don't understand why she is so hated (probably because she was dating Ron, BUT LIKE c'mon guys weren't they just teenagers? Don't act like you don't have crushes too 💀💀💀- well unless you're aromantic 😅)
OH AND ALSO CHO CHANG. I feel bad for her because she hasn't moved on but Cedric but still she is so hated for some reason????
I couldn't really understand why Ginny dated Dean? I assumed she did that for casual dating, for fun, or to make Harry jealous(?) Idk (oh and also off topic but I have read many fanfics about jealous! Seamus towards Dean and Ginny's relationship and I love them lollll)
But I personally think if Ginny still likes Harry but still dated Dean anyway- I don't know why she would do it just for her and Dean to break up? NOT BECAUSE I think Ginny shouldn't date Dean, but Dean probably thought him and Ginny were in a serious relationship and stuff-
I haven't picked up the books for a very long time but did Harry use the Felix Felicis only to make Ginny and Dean break up? Or are any other factors to that? (Because if so, I think it's kinda mean but I understand the jealousy)
HERMIONE DEFINITELY KNEW GINNY HAD A CRUSH ON HARRY/VICE VERSA BEFORE ANYONE ELSE DID 🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️
Everyone in the fandom IS a real fan and no one is lesser of a Harry Potter fan than the other
The movies lacked a lot but I enjoy it anyways..
People mostly ship drarry, dramione, Blairon, etc not necessarily because they HAVE chemistry, but because of what they could have been or become and the amount of "tension" that they have (which is not necessarily a good romantic tension but rather about their obsession with each other?)
I don't ship these ships above but I can kinda understand (?) Why people do?
You can be anti drarry, anti dramione, drarry shipper, dramione shipper, wolfstar shipper, jegulus shipper and more (anti) ships WITHOUT personally harrasing...yk...the PEOPLE who ship them. Some of you cyberbully real people over fictional characters...sorry
warnings: none really
timeline: regular before cedric dies 🥺
a/n: ok y'all, just saying, i love cedric diggory. he is perfect.. even better with this character. annalise potter is harry's identical twin, placed in gryffindor, (dw y'all i might post a small backstory)
The heavy oak door thunked shut, the sound echoing through the towering shelves. Cedric let out a soft huff of amusement, a genuine, slightly surprised smile spreading across his face.
“Well, now,” he said, running a hand through his already-messy brown hair, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he looked at Annalise. “Looks like we’ve gone and gotten ourselves properly stuck, eh, Leasie?”
There was warmth in his gaze, a comfortable familiarity that always put her at ease—even in situations like this.
Annalise crossed her arms, a nervous chuckle escaping her. “Properly stuck is putting it mildly, Ced. Harry’s going to have a right fit if I don’t get back to the common room.” She could already picture her brother’s worried frown.
Cedric chuckled, his expression reassuring. “Ah, you know Harry. He worries like mad. We’ll be right as rain by morning, though. Just a little unexpected library sleepover.” He gave the door a solid, but not forceful, push. His smile faded into a thoughtful frown. “Definitely charmed. Old Madam Pince doesn’t mess around with her locks.”
They tried the windows—sealed tight—and called out, their voices swallowed by the immense stillness of the library.
“Hellooo?” Annalise called, her tone half-laughing, knowing it was probably futile.
“Anyone about?” Cedric echoed, a wry smile tugging at his lips. But the thick stone walls absorbed the sound, offering no reply.
After a while, Annalise sighed, leaning back against a shelf as dust motes swirled in the pale light from the high windows. Resignation settled over her like a blanket.
“This is a bit rubbish, isn’t it?” she said quietly. “Just… stuck here all night.”
Cedric pushed off the window ledge and offered her that familiar, comforting smile—brotherly, yet somehow more. “Cheer up, Leasie. Could be worse. At least the company’s decent, eh?” He rubbed his arms with a slight shiver, but tried to hide it as much as he could.
After some time, they settled down. Talk drifted from school—her latest frustrations with Snape, his quiet pride in Herbology—to Quidditch, and eventually, the buzz around the Triwizard Tournament.
“Think you’ll put your name in, Ced?” Annalise asked, genuinely curious.
Cedric shrugged, thoughtful in that grounded way of his. “Haven’t decided yet, Leasie. It’s a big deal. Exciting, though, isn’t it?” His enthusiasm made even the daunting feel possible.
As the light faded, long shadows crept between the shelves, and the chill deepened. Annalise hugged herself, shivering. “Wish I’d brought a thicker jumper.”
“You cold, Leasie?” Cedric asked, his brow creasing with concern. Without hesitation, he shrugged off his well-worn Hufflepuff sweater, leaving him in his pressed white shirt and yellow, striped tie. “Here you go.” he said calmly.
"No, no, it's alright." she replied.
"Take it. Please?" he asked, a smirk playing on his lips.
Annalise gave him a grateful smile as she pulled it on. The sweater smelled of parchment and something inherently Cedric—a mix of earthiness and warm spice, like autumn leaves after a light rain. Comforting. Familiar.
They kept talking in hushed tones, broken by stretches of companionable silence. Eventually, Annalise yawned—a genuine, eye-watering one.
“Sorry,” she mumbled, embarrassed.
Cedric noticed immediately. He gently steered her to a less dusty spot by the books. “Alright, you look knackered. Try to get some shut-eye. I’ll keep an ear out for rogue house-elves with lockpicks.” His tone was light, but the care in it was unmistakable. He adjusted the jacket around her shoulders. “Make sure you’re snug.”
Annalise murmured her thanks, eyes already closing. Cedric sat beside her—not too close, but close enough for her to feel his presence. He leaned back, watching her drift off, a soft protectiveness settling over him. The moonlight from the high windows cast gentle shadows on her face. He found himself just… looking. A fondness bloomed in his chest—more than friendship, though he wasn’t sure what it was yet.
Sleep tugged at him, and as he shifted, his arm naturally fell around her shoulders. She instinctively snuggled closer, her head against his chest, sighing softly. A warmth settled between them—something more than just the jacket.
The first pale light of dawn crept through the windows when the heavy oak door creaked open with a groan. Hermione Granger stepped in, her arms precariously stacked with books, brow furrowed in concentration.
She scanned the silent library, expecting solitude. Then she stopped. Her eyes widened. The books in her arms wobbled dangerously.
There, on the floor near a stack of oversized volumes, were Cedric Diggory and Annalise Potter—curled up together.
Annalise stirred first, groaning softly as she stretched. Disoriented at first, she became aware of the comforting weight over her shoulders, the familiar scent of parchment and that uniquely Cedric warmth. She looked up, her eyes meeting his sleepy brown ones.
“Mornin’,” she mumbled, a soft smile curling her lips.
“Morning, Leasie,” Cedric replied, his voice still thick with sleep. He gave her a warm, hazy smile and instinctively tightened his arm around her. A comfortable silence stretched between them, charged with the quiet awareness of closeness.
Their gazes softened. Then, almost without thinking, Cedric leaned in. His lips met hers in a soft, lingering kiss—sweet and loving. A perfect greeting to the day.
It was precisely at that tender moment that Hermione gasped, dropping her stack of books from her arms with a loud crash.
“Annalise Potter!” she hissed, scandalized. Her eyes darted between the two of them, wide with disbelief. “Were you just… kissing? You and Diggory? On the library floor? Before dawn?!”
Annalise jolted upright, cheeks flushed. “Hermione! It’s not—well, it just… happened,” she stammered, flustered.
Cedric sat up too, rubbing the back of his neck. “Er—morning, Hermione. Bit of a long night, actually.”
Hermione stared. “A long night?” Her gaze sharpened. “What did I miss?!"
