Experience Tumblr Like Never Before
I apologize for not having posted anything yet as I’m still in school. I’ve decided to post about some of the books I’ve read/reading as that will work better with my schedule. I hope you all have an amazing day and I’ll try my best to get some other posts out!
these are some books that i've bought recently. expecting lispector and camus of me should be common sense by now. and of course, literary theory. 🤍
i've been away for a bit because, you know, college. and i have to read these two for classes. life's been boring lately, but i'm fine with that.
sometimes it rains and it's like nothing more exists. incredible how rain has the power to make me feel safe. 🌧🤍
late valentines with my girl ottessa and the view of a rainy day 🤍 🌧
started 'água viva' today. my first clarice! her writing is wow, i've been annotating a lot. so many thoughts already. just wild!
i was gonna go for run today, but gave up, it's been one of those lazy days. probably do some yoga before go to bed.
tomorrow i feel like it's gonna be a good day. (probably won't though) - let's keep it positive.
that's a goal: be more positive! 🤍🌧
My best friends and I are going to start a book club and I'm so excited 😭 once my finals are done and they are done with their current reads we are picking what to start with first!
Anyone else have to take pictures of their bookshelf when they get new books lol I buy books quicker than I read them and if I don't take pictures I'll accidentally buy the same book twice

An absolute must read.
"Long before she was the terror of wonderland, the infamous Queen of Hearts, she was just a girl who wanted to fall in love."
This novel brings readers excitement and illicit romance between two star crossed lovers.
The protagonist, Katherine, is the daughter of a noble and only wants to open a bakery to share her love of pastries with the folks of wonderland. But fate has other plans when she is suddenly told of the foolish King's desire to marry her.
I found this novel to be painfully beautiful because as the reader we already know that she is going to marry the king. We know how the story ends. We know and yet we hope stubbornly that she will succeed in her quest to follow her dreams by opening a bakery and be with the one she loves. And when she ultimately fails we can't be surprised; we knew this was coming.
I give this book 5 stars because I will be crying over this book 'till the end of time.
why do characters typed as intj are so hot? ,,seriously

I love the creased spines of paperbacks, and I'm pretty sure the book wears those creases with pride; "I have not just been read, I have been devoured"
is wanting to vibe under wisteria with my chai and a book too much to ask for?
i finally finished to read pachinko. it is a great book, not my favourite, but still good. now, i'll have more time to read my other books. yey! i plan to finish the books i'm currently reading until the end of vacation
reading makes me so happy. i can't believe i did so little of this last year.
Sunja stared at him. In the moments before her death, her mother had said that this man had ruined her life, but had he? He had given her Noa; unless she had been pregnant, she wouldn't have married Isak, and without Isak, she wouldn't have had Mozasu and now her grandson Salomon. She didn't want to hate him anymore. What did Joseph say to his brothers who had sold him into slavery when he saw them again? "You Intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives". This was something Isak had taught her when she'd asked him about the evil of this world.
Pachinko, written by Min Jin Lee
although i'm not the kind of person who enjoys to read multiple books at once, i'm currently reading four books
Pachinko (on my kindle): it's a fiction book that tells a korean family story, the story takes place on the second war and it's a interesting way to understand more about the relation between japanese and korean.
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers: it's the second book of the trilogy. i do enjoy to read it but i'm struggling to end with this book, i've been reading this for months and it feels like it'll never end.
Waiting For Your Prince: i literrally bought this book on a ship. it has been interesting to read it, i think that reading that has been helping me with my relationship with God.
Bible (NVT version): i like to read the bible in different versions and i'm currently using this one. the bookcover is beautiful and the language easy to understand.
