Experience Tumblr Like Never Before
Okay, I should have realized they wouldn't go there because that would probably been too much of a status quo change (though would it have really been though? Come on, if Disney/Pixar movies can do it then you can too you cowards XD!) but I thought Tina was getting her period for the first time. Turns out it was just a butt zit but I'm pretty sure the fakeout was intentional on their part. Poor form Louise, Tina and me are alike. You don't not mess with us when it comes to food, especially food we specifically asked to be saved! XD I was wondering how Tina would get to be part of an advice column when I read the description for the episode. I should have known it was specifically because she was at the right place at the wrong time (or right depending on the perspective) and Mr. Frond was just done with the whole thing. Unfortunately I should have seen it coming that no one wanted to give it a try which made me really sad for Tina. It also felt a bit real for me because I definitely had a few times when I tried to put myself out there to get feedback from others only to get mostly silence. I also felt so much cringe when Louise and Linda used Tina's journal to give her advice to answer. Like, it was so public and how do you expect Tina is going to feel when her private information is out and about?! It was so amusing Bob making it clear he was not supportive in anyway of what they did and was happy to be confirmed right in his stance. lol It all worked out it in the end though I suppose. Tammy why are you like this? As a giant Zekina shipper, I was very happy for the crumbs this episode! X3 Always happy to see Zeke to be the first one to support Tina after her family. Also when Zeke said Tina was full of surprises or something like that felt like to me was basically his way of saying that she just made him like her more than he already did. XD That last part is just crazy shipper brain though. Still always cute to see Zeke be so supportive of Tina even when he didn't know he was supporting her. XD
So happy Zeke was in "Butt Sweat and Fears"! A very minor moment that doesn't mean that much in the grand scheme of the episode, but I was happy when Zeke went to Tina to ask her if she saw him dancing. I look forward to reading too much into it and believing that Zeke wanted Tina's attention. XD
(Also Tina was really sweet this episode and was rewarded in a sweet way. Good for her. :3)
So Tina mentions that it's 4 years till she graduates and she's of college age. So this reveal means one of two things. Tina is officially 14 (unlikely) or Tina's bday doesn't fall on a month before May (more likely). So in short, My birthday headcanon of Tina being a March 7th Pisces is dead. XD I now have a good enough reason to change my headcanon for Tina's birthday to September 25th. She's now a Virgo-Libra cusp sign. Quite fitting and amusing at the same time for her to be the cusp of beauty X3. Also, it's Dan Mintz's birthday, which is another reason for the change.
Yay! Susmita was in tonight's episode! Tina and Susmita are such cute friends! Tina called her "sweet Susmita" later in the episode when she was so worried about the thought of Susmita finding out she's a cheater (not a cheater though). I just want Susmita to be in more episodes so Tina can have a consistently good friend. (Also the crazy Zekina shipper in me was happy that Zeke was to Tina's left when she was in class. My two favorite friends for Tina both together while Tina is in the middle. X3) Also, glad Chelsea isn't a snitch but we still have problems now because Tina got diarrhea because of her. Not cool Chelsea, not cool.
Last Bob Burger's episode of the year and it was so sweet! Tina Fey did great as the awkward, substitute music teacher that had no music experience whatsoever. I hope this substitute music teacher gets paid better in the future. I doubt I'll see more of her but I'll keep hoping until the day comes. Gene was awesome for saving the show last minute. I don't know how Tina found the library by herself but who cares because she is such a good sister! Waaaa so sweet! I'm sure Linda would have agreed sooner if it wasn't for the guilt she felt over leaving a stressed-out Thundergirl leader hanging. Louise's poem was so cute too, glad she did the serious one in the end. Poor Bob ran to the point of bleeding. End credits song was so pretty too. Overall, a good way to end the episodes for this year and I look forward to the next episode on January 8th.
( I Get Psy-chic Out of You. Season 4, Episode 16)
Louise: On a happier note, which name do you like more: Sea Bagel, Pride of Detroit, Mudbutt or Gelding the Lily? Linda: (groaning) Lily. Go with the Lily one. What is this for? Louise: Oh. We're renaming Tina. Linda: Oh! I'm glad I didn't choose Mudbutt. (Show Mama from the Grave. Season 13, Episode 9) We just found out Bob's mom's name was Lily! Mr. Bouchard you sly dog!
I think the biggest win for the Zekina shippers in this episode was Zeke telling Tina that the speech she gave to Jimmy Jr. was amazing. Can't wait until that gets clipped in a Zeke and Tina interaction compilation on Youtube. XD It definitely fuels my headcanon that the reason Zeke likes Tina so much is that she's always surprising him and also how inspirational she is. Also, another moment I thought was funny was Zeke and Tina were really considering kidnapping Jimmy Jr. and feeding him soup (Jay Ju likes soup as it turns out) just so Jimmy Jr.'s dreams don't get crushed. It didn't work because Leslie was busy. XD This is what I'm talking about! XD
Sure the real winners were the TinaxJimmy Jr. shippers for this episode but let me just say I'm satisfied with all the chatting Tina and Zeke did this episode. It's so nice to have them just talk as actual friends. Not just Tina tolerating Zeke for the sake of Jimmy Jr. but actually friendly chatting and mutual concern for their other friend. I don't see enough of that in the show. Also Tina and Zeke just casually considering tackling a guy for Jimmy Jr. is hilarious and that's the kind of chaotic energy I hope for in this pair. XD
Tina claimed that she made Jimmy Jr. the villain because she was mad at him for not sharing his gum with her. However, as the old saying goes, it's never about the gum. Tina take your own story as the cautionary tale that it is and run before cycles repeat girl! Jimmy Jr. stop the cycle from repeating in the first place! (Yeah, I know it's not exact but I couldn't just leave it alone because it was so close. Also, the right one was the best one I found on the Bob's Burgers wiki and I didn't want to look any further for the jerk that is Jimmy Sr.) The title is an exaggeration and it is probably a coincidence, but if it isn't giving evil Jimmy Jr. similar hair to his dad is a big brain move.
I don't know if the fact that Bob thinks Zeke is going to captain a loud, overpriced booze cruise ship at the Wonder Wharf when he is older is funny, sad, or both?! LOL
You know Tina, Zeke technically shared his gum with you. Just saying! XD Another negative point for Jimmy Jr.! Hopefully, you act better in "So You Stink You Can Dance" or "Comet-y of Errors" if you're in that episode.
