scenario: Erwin and his s/o enjoying their Sunday to the fullest

Sunday.

Erwin loves it for so many reasons.

He's able to wake up later than 7 AM, still in pajamas and having a bed hair.

He's not glued to electronic devices which he usually kept around him for recent updates on the company.

He doesn't need to put on his suffocating formal attires and eat take-aways his secretary buys for him at lunch or dinner.

More than anything, he finally has the time to be with you all day.

He won't let his work interrupts him on Sundays.

The morning sun floods the entire house. Sizzling sounds coming from the kitchen along with the smell of something being grilled awaken his senses.

Erwin yawned and stretched his arms above the head before walking over to where you were. He noticed you were still in your night gown, wearing an apron. You were too focused on the pan to not realize the man was already behind you.

He wrapped his big arms around your waist, causing you to flinch at his sudden presence.

"Erwin!"

"Good morning," he greeted in his soft, low voice to your ear then resting his head on your shoulder.

You let him clung onto you like a giant koala as you kept cooking the bacons. You could feel him planting kisses on top of your head, neck, cheeks and even stole some from your lips.

"You're distracting me."

"You were always distracted by me."

You only huffed. Erwin kissed you one last time before he settled down on the dining table. French toast. Scrambled eggs. Milk. Also coffee. A typical breakfast but Erwin absolutely loves them; because you made it.

He sipped on his coffee as you put the freshly fried bacons on his plate. He was smiling from ear-to-ear like a little kid who gets excited on their mother’s cooking. 

“Why do you look so happy?” you looked at him with a confused expression. He only shrugged his shoulders off as he digged in his food, still smiling. Well, you know why.

Your husband is such a workaholic, can’t be helped since he’s the CEO of his own company. During weekdays, he always comes home late when the lights are all off and quietly gets on the bed, careful not to wake you up then he'd leave early for work on the next day.

You understand him completely even though sometimes you could see him feel bad for spending less time with you. It was indeed lonely at certain times, but looking at how his actions melt you like he did today, it's become bearable.

Erwin doesn't leave your side for the entire day. The two of you shower together, clean the house, watch movies while his head resting on your lap, try on new recipes resulting in flour all over his face, play board games, ride on bikes in the afternoon.

Simple activities but hold thousands of meaning, especially when he does it with you.

When the night arrived, he buried your body in his warm embrace, legs tangled. His eyes always never leave yours. He caressed your face and down to your collarbones, then he stroked your hair, curling it randomly.

He didn’t say a word, only looking at you while doing his things.

“Hey, what’s with the long face?” you break off the silence, noticing his gloomy look.

"I wish tomorrow never comes."

"You say that every week, always in this exact moment," you poked his nose. "I actually... got something to tell you."

"What is it?" he was amused.

You reached out for the drawer that comes with the nightstand just beside the bed, you opened it and grabbed something before closing it back.

You sat on the bed nervously, letting out a deep sigh. "I just found out a few days ago and i know i should have told you right away, but i guess today is also... okay?" you laughed awkwardly.

Erwin nodded. "Fine, what is it?"

You exhaled one more time and handed him the thing.

A pregnancy test strip.

Two lines appeared.

"No way..." his eyes widened, glancing at you and the thing in his hand repeteadly. He was totally surprised.

"So...?"

He pulled his shirt up over his face and he started to sob. Your heart melted at his sheer elation as the dad-to-be broke down in tears and pulled him into a hug, tapping his back.

"I promise i-i.. i will take a lot day offs," he stuttered which gave you a huge laugh.

"Once you're a father, you will have plenty of Sundays."

He nodded eagerly as you kissed his crying face. You didn't expect this side of Erwin would come out.
