"Liar. You're crying. You can't lie to me, you're not allowed." he whispered in your ear before biting your lobe slightly.

You shudered under the sudden contact and looked once again in the mirror.

You bite your lip as you try to find the correct words to explain the situation to your lover, he had quite the temper and you didn't want to upset him even more.

You let out a shaky exhale before speaking up with a cracked voice from your crying:

"I just...I feel like you deserve better than me."

As the words left your mouth, you felt Ricardo tense around you as he frowned.

"What the fuck does that mean?" He answered with an angry, almost offended, tone.

Your heart tightened once again, why did your lover sound so upset ? You were only telling the truth...Surely he was aware of how people barely looked twice at you when they tried to make moves on him...right?

"I...I mean that...you're handsome. Women and men alike flirt with you all the time. You could have anyone.Anyone...prettier than me. Someone whose skinnier...Whose not wearing ugly glasses. It doesn't take even a split second before the words are out of mouth that Ricardo immediately turns you around to face him. His remaining eye is squinting at you and his eyebrows are furrowed. He looks absolutely livid as he stares at you.
