"I mean, you can just leave League duty to Wallace again?
I do that all the time."
Girl you shouldn't brag about that.
"Staying in the League room all the time is laaaaaaame, we should explore while we can, no?"
Seeing the four Ice Stones shoved into his hands, his entire face lights up, and he grins wide as a Sableye.
"All for my collection!? Thank you, Sapphire! I'm truly humbled."
He'd have to find her some rare stone in return or treat her to a coffee or something.
"I really must visit somewhere new soon outside of necessary Devon and League business trips. Then I'd actually have time to find such qunatities as these of things!"
--there we go.
"The same guy I defeated a handful of times already?"
Maybe a little bit of an exaggeration, but so far she was having way more luck in battle than him. Jorge was quick to jump on the side, hopping around the room and, most importantly, around both the Muk and its Trainer, almost trying to either distract them both or even make the Pokèmon hit Archie himself.
A trickster at heart, not unlike the little girl who just waltzed in an ecoterrorist group's base and started wrecking everything in her way.
"Psych up!", she chirps, the Sylveon stopping to charge up before restarting to hop around.
"Bwahaha!!"
More laughter echoes through the room as Archie plucks a Pokéball from the belt clip. He tosses it into the air, and out comes his Muk. An unpleasant aroma fills the air as the Pokémon cries out angrily.
"Wouldn't dare dissapoint now, would I? Who d'ya take me fer?"
A wave of his hand, and the Poison-type starts preparing a Sludge Wave to toss at the opposing Sylveon.
"Yeppers"
It's barely rudeness or disrespect.
She genuinely keeps forgetting.
"How are you holding up? Everyone doing their job at the League?"
No comment on the fact that she's blatantly ignoring her duties.
"... No matter how many times I ask you to not call me that, you're never going to stop, are you?"
"just karate chop them in the throat? that usually works."
"Wait, real?"
Cue a thumbs up.
"Cool, thanks dude. Then hold on one sec."
And at that she turns to the boat, puts two fingers between her lips and whistles. In a matter of seconds here comes Lyle, her Blaziken, effortlessly holding- Oh that's a lot of bags. She picked up-- arguably the biggest one, one hell of a trekking backpack, but that's still a lot.
"Can you hold 'em a little longer, buddy?"
Cue another thumbs up, this time from the Blaziken.
"Hella." again, she returns the same gesture before fixing the bag on her shoulder, turning again to Hau "Okay, lead the way."
"Oh! I do know where that is, actually!"
"I can take you there if you want? I don't have anything better to do right now anyway." It would take their mind off swimming, too. Apparently you can't swim with a new tattoo? Mean to him.
