So that post Columbia andreil confrontation is everything! But from Wymack's pov he watches Neil tell Andrew "fuck you" before switching to a flurry of German in which Neil first looks panicked and scared but then grows a deranged smile he forcibly tries to fight off his face before ultimately sighing and looking so utterly tired defeated and pathetic. And the next bit of context Wymack gets is Andrew claiming they're both leaving together.
also I love that Grover gets separated from the kids and immediately starts playing mind games with a god. he's like finally I don't have to be a good role model for a second. let's talk brutality.
You know, ever since maybe my... second viewing of the anime, I've had a sense that this was total bullshit, but I think I just figured out why.
I love him (partially because of this), but Kyoya's a bit of a fuckhead, right? Like, the whole reveal of his character over the course of the anime/manga is that he DOESN'T do everything purely for selfish reasons, but the reason that assumption was there in the first place was because he does act selfish fairly consistently. Moreover, if he's not worried for anyone's well-being and he doesn't benefit, he's likely to give all of 0% effort for a task he may be presented with the option of doing. So why tf would he give half a shit about getting into contact with and consistently updating the father of a fucking nobody? He's nowhere close to that chivalrous I guarantee you.
So. He's fucking lying. But he still contacted Ranka, so the next question would be "why?"
My personal theory has two options: heterosexual reason, or homosexual reason (I'm partial to the second one because I believe Kyoya is full gay, but to each their own).
Heterosexual reason: He has a thing for Haruhi, and is hoping to get a leg up on dating her over literally everyone else with obvious feelings for her by becoming familiar with her dad. If someone's close to their family, not only is getting a parents approval usually a factor in choosing a partner, but seeing somebody you're possibly interested in getting along with the people you love is usually something that sets off green flags in your head.
Homosexual reason: Sometime during his general research that he's explicitly confirmed to conduct on everybody he regularly interacts with, he discovered that Ranka is queer. He wanted to talk to someone 'like him', probably assuming he would just the once to satisfy curiosity and loneliness, and as soon as Ranka figured out what was going on, welp. It was over for him 😠Ranka's your gay dad now Kyoya
(Also neither of these reasons are something he'd want to advertise, much less to Tamaki, which I think lends credibility. And he really would just. Decide to tell Tamaki exactly what he knew would fuck with him instead. Just to be a fuck. <3)
But what do y'all think
To all my writers who have a tough time with smut terms and not knowing which ones to use, I have found the holy grail for us.
This reddit user, who I've recently found out is @kjscottwrites here on tumblr, took a poll of 3,500 people and went really in depth with asking their favorite terminology, along with actual pie charts on what the readers preferred to see in their smut.
Check out their post with the link to the Google doc here!
I will never give sympathy to a woman that uses what a man has told them in his weakness against him. (For romantic relationships)
A man does not have many opportunities to lower his guard, to be vulnerable. So if the man trusted her, made her his safe haven, and then she pierces his heart. Then she has no right to whine when he no longer seeks her comfort. She has no right to complain when he is no longer warm.
He gave her that warmth, gave her that softness and she spat on it.
young me especially would have hated hearing this but networking is literally the most important thing you can do to improve your situation like forget economic barriers to education etc just keep making friends with different people and eventually someone will offer you a hand up just because they dig your vibe and that is exactly all that's happening when undeserving people surpass you anyway
eight episodes is not a full season of television
This is a friendly reminder to never, ever publish your book with a publishing company that charges you to publish with them. That is a vanity press, which makes money by preying on authors. They charge you for editing, formatting, cover art, and more. With most of these companies, you will never seen a cent of any royalties made from sale of your book. A legitimate publishing company only makes money when you make money, they will never charge you to publish with them. If a company approaches you and says "Hey, we'll publish your book, just pay us X amount of money," tell them to go fuck themself and block them.
The deans were totally ex's or at least hooked up several times right?
Friendly reminder that Lana fucking improvised this scene (Regina sitting on Emma's desk) and what we see here is JMo's real reaction, not Emma's 😌
