My take on elves and their different types (+ a bunch of OCs of mine I designed yesterday, one of each type of elf) Light elves have 2 types: high elf (non-dark magic) and sun elf (light/sun magic + healing magic). Dark elves have 2 types: drow (dark/cursed/evil magic) and moon elf (darkness/night/dream/nightmare magic). Winter elves have 2 types: snow elf (winter/frost/cold magic) and Christmas elf (holiday magic). Christmas elves' blood is red until it touches the air, in which it turns green. Also, Christmas elves, unlike snow elves, can withstand extreme heat alongside extreme cold, since southern hemisphere gets Christmas during their summers. Then there's Cosmic elves (space/stardust/galactic magic) and Wood elves (nature magic), the only two types of elf that don't fit neatly into a category. Cosmic elves have pearlescent blood. Not sure if I colored it in well enough, so that's why I'm mentioning it here. Lol. The skin tones also can vary for each elf; I unfortunately didn't make a skin tone chart, but it's in my head. I do like the idea that elves can be any color on the rainbow, but certain colors being locked or more common with certain types of elf.

there's a lot of people that have done things in the past that were bad, because they weren't taught any better, or they were in an overall toxic situation where EVERYONE was shitty (like a cult), or they were just at an especially low point and hurt others for it.

you don't have to forgive them. you don't have to ever speak to them again. you can be angry with them until you die if you want.

but society cannot function if we don't allow them to move on. to change their behavior and fuck off somewhere else and build meaningful relationships without bothering you again. we need a path for people to change, or nothing ever will.
