In light of Imane Khelif's lawsuit against jk Rowling, and in the same vein as Tim waltz' "weird" I think we honestly should just call joanne a bully literally any time she starts Terfposting. Like a cat with a spray bottle
I wonder if there's ever been a notable unarmed political assassination? Like, some dude goes in for a handshake at a campaign event, and decides to just powerbomb the fucker into the pavement instead and breaks their neck? It feels like the sort of thing that would have happened at least once in history, but a cursory attempt to research the topic just turns up a bunch of anecdotes about Assassin's Creed.

My place was forever on the scene
Arms swinging and words soaring
But I sadly lost my blue dream..
Those Obscure eyes pierced my heart
Then traced my warped destined path
Are we free? Or indeed Man is confined..
Tied to that thick and long serpent-like rope
He turns around, again and again.. a third last time..
Two last breaths coming out of his mouth.
He flies unbound, finally opens his wings
He looked up to the sky
"It will always be here !" He shouts;
The big lapis canvas invites us finally
To our one true Homeland
Of wine rivers and dripping honey
"Welcome back, my dear." You hear them say;
You're finally in the realm of Poppy and May.

I love both the sketch and the colored version but i have to admit the coloured one is my favorite <33
I finished reading "The secret history" by Donna Tartt the other day and the characters are not going to let me go. The book is kinda mesmerizing, I loved the language immediately (and read the whole 600-page book in one week). The characters are perfect in the way they're written. At first I agreed with Richard's view on the group. They were all so mysterious, ideal, that I couldn't even imagine how complicated and awful their lives in fact were (Charles was my favourite character until THE LAST CHAPTER, Charles, wtf are you doing?!)
So here are my sketch of Henry with symbolism attempt
Also colourful version for flower language, 'cause colours are important. But I don't like how the final work looks like (
Yellow lily - friendship
Lycoris - in Japan is believed to foreshadow death and grief
Purple calla - symbolizes sorrow and grief
THE SERIES GOES ON :
Gregory Peck !!
i love wholesome moments with other people. happens for only one reason which is making your day 10 times better lol. thank you random cute guy for breaking that silence and making a nice little joke when we ended up walking side by side at the same pace even when we tried to go infront of each other. i wish God will make us meet again

I talked about this in my throat punching post, but I after a recent experience, I thought it would be fun to point out how weak this little bone is. The hyoid is a U-shaped bone that sits above your laryngeal prominence (aka Adam's apple) and behind the jaw. It isn't attached to any other bones, but serves as the attachment site for a lot of muscles in the lower jaw and upper neck. You can palpate it, but be careful! You are capable of breaking your own hyoid bone. It requires 3-4kg (6-7lbs) of squeezing to fracture it. For reference, a human is capable of creating a pinch (index to thumb) strength of 5-8kg (11-17 lbs). Now imagine if someone is getting choked (it's not good).
Hyoid bone fractures can be life threatening, as this bone is important in the structures of the upper respiratory tract (breathing is very important). It can cause pharyngeal and laryngeal spasms, which leads to asphyxiation (you can't breathe). This can be fixed with a tracheotomy and tube placement, but sometimes patients don't know they've broken their hyoid until they can't breathe.
And for the personal experience: I was trying to explain the muscles of the throat to this girl in my anatomy group, and she had no idea what the hyoid was. So I was like "lemme just grab it real quick and let her feel it." I was a bit pissed off, I'll admit, when I did that. So I grabbed that bone pretty roughly and just snapped that motherfucker like the wishbone of a chicken. I knew it was tender, but holy shit it has no integrity. It turns out I was right all these years for having an fear of people grabbing my neck.
Reminds me of my Pride And Prejudice book with an unpleasant-looking cover which obviously.. made me avoid that book. It's been sitting on my shelf for nearly two years now.
I am haunted by all the editions of books that are prettier than the ones I already own.
