Gemstones for Psychic Abilities.

Psychic abilities and psychic protection can be developed and enhanced by the use of crystals and gemstones. They, like all elements, contain energetic properties. Their powerful energies have the ability to heal our bodies and heighten our spiritual lives by correcting unbalanced vibrations in the body. Listed below are some of the more common crystals and gemstones used by psychics and those who want to achieve a higher consciousness and thereby open up communication with the spiritual realm. Other gems or crystals can be used in conjunction with those on the following list or you may find some of your own choosing that work just as effectively for you in these areas.

Azurite: This stone vibrates at the level of the “third eye”, which helps enhance clairvoyance and a greater sense of intuition. It also has the ability to resonate up to the crown chakra and can aid and assist in heightening spiritual connections. The stone vibrates to the throat chakra to enhance psychic communication. It is a deep azure blue color, which correlates to the indigo blue associated with the brow chakra. It is one of two basic copper carbonate minerals.

Amethyst: This stone enhances psychic abilities of all types, including clairvoyance, clairaudience and telepathy. It also works as a great psychic protection tool. It vibrates to the frequencies of the third-eye and crown chakras and is also a catalyst to opening the heart chakra. Amethyst is also a great meditation tool when used in preparation for psychic readings. It is a violet purple color and a member of the Quartz family of minerals.

Bloodstone:  This stone heightens psychic abilities and intuition. It is a grounding and centering stone and vibrates to the frequencies of the root chakra. Carnelian is believed to help transition the living to the spirit realm and vice versa. It has also been used in healing and in balancing the root and sacral chakras. Chrysocolla:  This stone aids in the connection between the physical and spiritual realms. It can heighten psychic awareness and continue to develop it further. It is also useful in inducing dream states. This stone can be used to re-energize all of the chakras. When placed at the brow chakra or third-eye chakra, it strengthens the power of second sight. Chrysocolla is a bright blue-green in color and is usually found nearby copper.

Emerald:  This stone enhances psychic abilities, assists in the knowledge of future events and aids in achieving a higher consciousness. It also offers strong psychic protection against evil or negative energies. It is connected to the heart chakra and it allows the upper and lower chakras to flow into balance. Emerald is the green variety of the mineral beryl.

Fluorite:  This stone comes in many colors; however, violet and purple are the most common ones. This stone offers strong psychic protection from psychic vampires or negative energies. It enhances intuition, psychic abilities, spiritual connections and spirit guides. It can open the third eye and aids in achieving a higher consciousness. It is also very good to use during meditation before giving a psychic reading. These stones can also be used to effectively cleanse human auras and the chakras.

Herkimer Diamond:  This stone is known to have magical properties and aids in psychic abilities, in particular, clairvoyance, telepathy, connecting with spirit guides and accessing past life information. It can energize all of the chakras and promote balance and spiritual flow through them. It is a stone of attunement and is a wonderful stone to enhance the energy and powers of all other stones placed near it. It is a clear, bright form of quartz.

Iolite:  This stone aids in increasing clairvoyance (psychic visions). It allows for any untapped psychic powers to awaken and emerge. Lapis Lazuli:  This stone aids in the contact of spirit guides and angels. It enhances psychic vision or clairvoyance when placed on the third-eye chakra and has extraordinary psychic protection powers. It can also be used to balance all of the chakras. The stone is associated with the Crown chakra and because of this it is excellent for use in communicating with and understanding the messages from the spirit world. Snowflake Obsidian:  This stone assists in increasing the psychic ability of clairaudience and other psychic powers. It can be used as a tool when scrying. It is good for calming the mind’s chatter before and during meditation and can be used to balance the mind, body and spirit. It helps in channeling spirits and with psychic protection, by blocking psychic attacks. The stone is black with white snowflake patterns and is a natural volcanic glass.

Sapphire:  This stone helps to open up the lines of communication with the spirit world, as well as to assist in providing clarity for the messages they send. What is it?

The Elementarium is a script based on the European alphabet that I created about three years ago.

What is it for?

Initially I created The Elementarium as a way to write down spells, sigils, and other magical words that had anything to do with the elements, or that I wanted to embellish with the power of the elements. These days I use it for all magical purposes. Is especially effective as protection and spell charms.

Who is it for? Can I use it?

Anyone who wants to use it! I’m opening it up to the wider public because I feel that they would benefit from a magical script to use that they know was written by a witch, instead of using one in which they are unsure of the origins or rules. Why use it?

Unlike conventional linguistic scripts, this one was invented specifically with magic in mind. It automatically has a deeper connection to your inner energy. I created the script by meditating and then writing symbols down with my eyes closed, visualising how they would fit into each letter.

A letter from my language isn’t on the script, what should I do?

Send me an ask telling me which letter this is and I will create it! When I wrote it I was learning Norwegian and Swedish, hence why those letters are present. But I truly believe that everyone should be able to write magically in their own language, so please don’t be afraid to send me a request.

Can I get a tattoo of it?

Of course! I have a friend who did so and it looks great, I’m waiting on her to send me a picture so I can show you all. Just make sure you don’t mess up how you’ve written it down; I don’t want to be blamed for a shitty design.

Alright so first, your abilities in witchcraft do not determine you to be more or less worthy to work with, worship, and learn from Demons. All you need to start is respect for them, and a desire to learn from them. It is true that certain demons may not want to interact with you until you have developed your abilities more, and some may hold off on working with you until you have learned how to worship with devotion and respect. Some demons that have been said to be good for beginners include Stolas, Azazel, Lucifer, Satan, and Dantallion. That said, I would suggest perhaps purchasing some reading material written by S. Connoly. You can find her work by searching her name online. A good beginners guide is The Complete Book of Demonolatry, which discusses how demons came to be known as demons, how to connect with demons, making offerings, doing rituals, and a lot more. You may be able to find a PDF if you look hard enough. I also happen to have a PDF of her book on the Goetic demons that I can send to you if you’d like to message me.

Just remember that the most important part of making a connection with any deity is to be respectful.

Seere has not been reaching out to you, but he would be comfortable with forming a relationship with you and working with you. He is associated with Cedar incense, the element Air, and Willow trees. In my experience, Satan will give you the empowerment you’ve been seeking. He will guide you with love and care, but not to the point of causing your growth to stagnate. 1. Phantom Quartz

Phantom quartz is one of the most fabulous crystals to develop clairaudience.

These mesmerizing crystals actually help OPEN clairaudience and have “ghosts” of crystals within them from where the crystal stopped growing and then started again.

How to Use Crystals to Increase Clairaudience

Once you’ve selected your crystal (or left the store with all 3 — no judgement here) it’s time to get to work.

Try a few of these (or all of them) and see which you like best!

During Meditation

You’ll be hard pressed to find a clairaudience development post on my blog that DOESN’T mention meditation, and this is no exception. :)

On your third eye. Try meditating in savasana (or corpse) pose, with your Phantom quartz, Selenite, or sapphire on your third eye.

On your throat chakra. Get into a savasana pose and place your crystal of your choice on your throat chakra. The throat chakra (which has to do with communication) is connected to your clairaudient abilities.

Hold it. Hold your crystal as you meditate in your traditional position. (These Selenite harmonizers* are PERFECT to hold during meditation!)

With any of these options, you’ll experience a deeper connection to your Higher Self and Spirit Guides who will help you develop your clairaudience.

Hold it. Hold your crystal of choice as you practice one of these clairaudient exercises.

Keep it close. Place the crystal near you as you practice.

Take advantage of your Zen state during sleep with your new-found crystal! This will increase your clairaudience while you sleep and improve dream recall – it doesn’t get much simpler than that!

Near your head. Sleep with the crystal near your head (near the pillow or on the nightstand).

Under your bed. Make a crystal grid and sleep with it under your bed. Tip: Crystal grids are powerful ways to declare intentions.

Obviously you don’t want to skip crystals when it comes to developing clairaudience. Not only are they gorgeous to look at, they punch up your psychic development and take it to the next level.

EXERCISE 1 — SIMPLE MEDITATION

1. Connecting to the Flame: Start by staring into the flame. Sit a comfortable distance away from it.

For some people, the light may be too intense. If that is the case, stare past the flame. Look at the

light and the shadows behind it. Let your eyes go in and out of focus. Turn all your attention to the

fire before you. Feel the flame giving off white light, all the colors of the spectrum. The light fills

the room you are in and protects you from all harm. Some people say a short prayer or invocation

to any personal deities.

2. Relaxation: As you stare at the candle, stray thoughts will come into your mind. You may have

difficulty focusing solely on the candle. This is normal. Coach yourself through a relaxation of

your entire body, starting at the top of your head and moving down. Relax the muscles in your

head, face, neck, and shoulders. Feel your jaw relax. It is as if gentle waves of water are flowing

down your body. Pay attention to the sensations of release and then let them go, moving on to the

next part of your body. Relax your shoulders and arms, hands and fingers. Feel all tension leave

you chest and torso. Work through your trunk, until all tension has been released. Work down

through your legs to your toes. You entire body relaxes.

3. Going Deeper: Count backward from 12 to 1, counting each breath, still looking at the candle

flame. With each number, you go deeper into your meditative state. Let all extraneous thoughts go

as you count. As they arise, acknowledge and release them. Thank your conscious mind for

sharing, but now let it take a break for a while. Tell your ego that it does not have to be “in the

driver's seat” for this. All outside noises only serve to deepen the experience. You will react to

them only for your safety and highest good. Feel a gentle soothing sensation fill your body. Youare comfortable and relaxed. It feels much like a lazy afternoon of daydreaming. The feeling of

daydreaming is the alpha state. You have reached your meditative state with ease.

4. Being Open: Be open to whatever feelings, sensations, or experiences you are having, without

judgment. You are only looking for a period of relaxation by quieting the internal dialogue. This

can be difficult. If you slip out of this state, gently coax yourself back in by relaxing your body and

counting down. Just be. You do not have to do anything. Feel yourself simply at the center of your

own universe, your own perspective.

5. Grounding: When this experience feels complete, consciously count yourself from 1 to 12 and open

your eyes. As you return, you may feel light-headed and not quite all together. This is a normal

response. You need to ground yourself back to this reality. Such flightiness is often caused by a

deep meditation or energy work. That is why so many New Agers have a reputation for being a

little “out there.” Most are just a bit ungrounded. To ground yourself, get on the floor and visualize

any remaining energy flowing down into the earth. If you feel as if you are floating, imagine a ray

of light passing from the base of your spine down into the earth, like a string tying a balloon down.

Some people do something physical, like standing up, moving around, holding on to a piece of

furniture, or hugging a tree. Eating is another excellent way to ground. That is why so many rituals

use bread or cakes as part of the ceremony, to ground you afterward. Experiment and find a

technique that works for you.

Even though you can eventually feel and perceive more than usual, you may not

do so at first. That is perfectly normal. Right now, concentrate on achieving a

daydreamlike state. Keep your expectations simple. Some people have very

moving experiences and cry afterward, but that is quite rare. Most people think

“no big deal” and cannot figure out what meditation has to do with magick. They

are looking for action. The link between the two will become more apparent as

we go along.

Practice this exercise. The more often you do it, the easier it will be. This is

the first building block, one that may already be familiar to you. Soon, you will

no longer need the candle and will be able to achieve this sensation in a matter of

moments. It is a great trick when you are stressed out at work or with your

family.

Achieving your trance state is the first step. By visualizing in this state, you

affect reality. Magick consists of making a change with your will. All its forms

have many practical applications. For instance, you are running late for work.

You may be fired if you are late again. Don't panic, relax. Relaxation is the key.

You don't even have to get into a deep trance state while driving to work. Just

get a moment of relaxation. Imagine yourself getting to work on time, safely and

easily. Imagine yourself walking in and looking at the clock. You are exactly ontime. No one is angry. Then keep on driving, safely, confident that your magick

is working. Reality will conform to your expectations. If you don't think you will

be late, then you will not be. This is a great way to get parking spaces by the

door. Visualize a spot near the door about ten minutes before you reach your

destination. Visualization is co-creation in action. I did not think you could use

magick or spiritual discipline for such things, but my teachers encouraged me.

This little trick kept me sane during college, trying to find the ever-elusive

parking space on a crowded city campus. Magick lets you flow with the universe

and makes life easier. Things become less of a struggle. They flow easily when

you are in the right place at the right time, doing what you need to be doing.

Visualization is one way to tell the universe what you need.

Color and light are ways to manipulate energy in physical reality. By

visualizing different colored light, you can change reality in situations that may

be too complex to visualize in detail. If family gatherings are particularly

argumentative, try this before going to the next one. Get into your trance state
