For reference I did not know a thing about the Grishaverse until I randomly decided to watch S&B on Netflix. Then I read SoC and S&B (not KoS yet) and obviously adored and obsessed. Now I’m rewatching S&B and WHAT?! Like these scenes with the crows are punching me in the gut. Kaz walks on screen and literal chills. I never felt this strongly the first time I watched bc I didn’t fully grasp but NOW…..

I'm not one to bash anyone in general, but I definitely needed to get this off my chest.

Anyone who has ever said that women have an easy life has never really lived on this planet.

Women pick between love and career every fucking time. They almost never have the luxury to have both and be comfortable too.

Women are always sexualised, whether it be due to other people or older women in general, they always are- regardless of race, age, sexuality etc.

Women are treated unfairly in almost everything.

Women fear walking at night and doing very simple things that many consider a regular day occurence.

Women lack rites and basic health care- and no, I'm not speaking of the privileged ones who naturally are privileged or live in nations that provide them with such necessities, but the women who face constant discrimination due to their body, race, sexuality etc

Women are seen as objects to most persons and are not respected in this day and age.

So no, don't you dare say women have easy lives. Do not diminish our experiences and hardships. We live hard lives. And yet, we acknowledge it and move on and live.

Women are strong, courageous, beautiful, intelligent beings who do it and do a great fucking job.

They do it all and more despite their struggles.

Do not diminish our battles or our hardships.
