I open my eyes and sit up. I'm in a dark, open place. the floor is covered in a thin layer of what feels like water. there's a faint glow of light in the distance. in it, a silhouette.

I lay back down, hoping the figure didn't notice me. I keep my eyes on it just in case.

"you are a threat to my plans." the silhouette shifts in place as I realize it knows I'm here. the voice is quiet and calm, almost like a whisper. if the silhouette wasn't there, I wouldn't know where it was coming from. it reverberated in my head. I could feel it in my body.

I stood up and looked at the silhouette, shouting "why am I here? who are you?"

the silhouette appeared in front of me, and I stumbled backwards in fear. "no need to shout. you'll be gone soon. as for where you are, you are in your mind. as for who I am…"

as the silhouette stood there, I saw two weird shapes open up in its head. it looked like a strange symbol at first, but… it wasn't anything like that. it was its eyes. it looked as if it had a pair of eyes overlapping each other. I tried to run. I tried to scramble backwards. I tried to move.

but I was frozen in place, unable to even twitch a finger. its eyes were mesmerizing in the most terrifying way. I was afraid, but I couldn't look away from that fear.

"my name is archo."

I didn't dare say anything.

"you are an inconsistency. you are an undesired variable in my equation for perfect chaos. you must be cut out. your presence is endangering my progress towards perfect chaos. I must make sure that you do not hinder my work."

the silhouette of archo seemed to lean towards me.

"I will have order."

I lay there staring at this thing for what seemed like forever. my hands started to get weak holding me up. my vision started to darken.

soon my vision went completely dark. I couldn't see it anymore, and I collapsed. but the liquid… it didn't feel like water anymore. it felt much more viscous and concentrated… it felt like blood.

I felt a chill down my spine. I leaned my head back to look behind me.

I saw another silhouette, twitching violently in a darker light.

I kept my eyes on it as I turned around to stand up, but as my head rotated to be the right way up, the other silhouette didn't seem to move. it was as if it was attached to my eyes, staying the same as when I first saw it — upside down and shaking.

as I stood up, my foot came down too hard and the liquid splashed. I stood stock still, hoping that the silhouette didn't hear me. but as I stood there, I saw the liquid float up in front of me. I looked down at my foot to see the strange liquid floating around it, as if all of the gravity around it had dissipated.

I looked up only to see the silhouette in front of me, trembling violently. I slip and fall backwards, sending more of the liquid into the air as it flies off into oblivion.

"you've seen it too? the unknowable? the unlivable?"

I look at this new silhouette. its voice is quiet, but it has a certain excitedness to it. the silhouette crouches down next to me as I look at it. it lowers it's hand into the liquid and lifts it back up. the liquid flies off into the air. but as the silhouette moves his hand back downwards, the liquid flies back to its hand, swirling around it at varying speeds.

"the vast chaos about the multiverse is so fun, don't you agree? the colors, the sounds, the feelings… but there's still an order to them."

the silhouette starts to vibrate and tremble even more.

"but I wish for a place where constants don't exist. a place where colors don't see over and power is in-between. a place who purple is under high-pitched wrongs and truth is all but round. the chaos of everything becoming nothing, which in turn becomes everything once again."

I look on at the silhouette, unable to move.

"after all, the sky is made of diamonds. and diamonds are my eyes."

I look on at the quaking mass of darkness in front of me. it stops trembling as it turns to look at me. I can see its eyes… a mass of diamond shapes in ever-changing formations.

"I don't have a name. but you can call me… I think 'the wolf' will suffice."

[ sylo ] alrighty then, let's talk about the structure of the syloverse.

[ Sylo ] Alrighty Then, Let's Talk About The Structure Of The Syloverse.

[ sylo ] the syloverse is split up into 3 main verses: the syloverse, the jumbleverse, and the dyroverse, with the wall separating the dyroverse from everything else.

[ Sylo ] Alrighty Then, Let's Talk About The Structure Of The Syloverse.

[ sylo ] so, let's talk about the syloverse first, for obvious reasons. it's a sort of "perfect timeline" situation, where everything is in chronological order of events.

[ sylo ] it's split up into segments, with each maker having their own section (you'll learn about the makers in section 4C of the syloverse guide).

[ Sylo ] Alrighty Then, Let's Talk About The Structure Of The Syloverse.

[ sylo ] so far, there are 26 makers, and 24 sections—though, this is susceptible to change.

[ sylo ] now, each section has stories that the makers write. that's where the makers' creativity is located. stories operate in a strange fashion; whenever a story ends, the maker can either add onto it, reset it sending the story back to the beginning to play again, or leave it be and have it play out past its original ending.

[ sylo ] in-between these stories is where the inhabitants live, located in what they like to call "the hub." it's filled with shops, restaurants, etcetera. but the maker in the section has the final say about what goes on in their section.

[ Sylo ] Alrighty Then, Let's Talk About The Structure Of The Syloverse.

[ sylo ] of course, there is one section that is unclaimed by any makers, leaving the inhabitants to do and build whatever they wish without anyone telling them they can't. well, except for themselves.

[ sylo ] anyways, back on topic. the next one is the jumbleverse. now, the jumbleverse is strikingly similar to the syloverse, except that it's chronology is all messed up. time doesn't really flow the same throughout it, so whatever I've made for the future of the syloverse can interact with the past of the syloverse, and vice versa. this applies to any points in time in the jumbleverse.

[ Sylo ] Alrighty Then, Let's Talk About The Structure Of The Syloverse.

[ sylo ] it's essentially just a giant mess of all the ideas me and... hmm... he doesn't really have a name... well, let's just call them chuni for simplicity's sake. it's filled with ideas me and chuni came up with, with almost no regard to chronology. although the ideas that come from it are implemented into the syloverse after sorting them out, the jumbleverse is basically a crapshoot of anything we can think of that could be a good addition to the syloverse.

[ sylo ] not many people know about it, though. so far, only chuni, the snap, the entity, and myself know about and can travel to it. although rich—the butler of faces—does have dreams about it since he's based off of a creator.

[ sylo ] and now there's the dyroverse. the dyroverse is essentially a "what could've gone wrong did go wrong" kind of situation. there are no stories, as the makers haven't quite been established, so essentially, everywhere is a hub. although there are territories that some gangs and other organizations have.

[ Sylo ] Alrighty Then, Let's Talk About The Structure Of The Syloverse.

[ sylo ] it's supposed to be a sort of "dark syloverse" but the only people that are in both the syloverse and the dyroverse are my family. the dyroverse doesn't have anyone else from the syloverse.

[ sylo ] and last, but certainly not least, is the wall. now, the wall is a very important structure, as it greatly reduces breaches in the syloverse, and keeps the dyroverse at bay. it's an omnipresent force that envelops the syloverse to ensure that it's protected, and that nobody can get in or out (although there are very few exceptions to this). inside the wall, however, things are a little less friendly. the wall is home to what we call the "thoughts." they're horrid creatures who twist and crawl and shimmy and dangle and fly and levitate and kill and maim and wring and tear and scrape and rend and-

HEY! get it together, man. you've got a job to do.

[ sylo ] *shudder* ah, sorry, I was getting a bit worked up.

[ sylo ] anyways, they're horrific abominations that come from inside the wall. they only escape because of breaches; cracks in the wall that allow them to slip out.

[ Sylo ] Alrighty Then, Let's Talk About The Structure Of The Syloverse.

[ sylo ] you'd think that me being all-fucking-powerful that I'd be able to do something about this, but the wall is apparently out of my power's jurisdiction. and the snap doesn't wanna do anything about it. says "it's fun. it spices things up a bit." well I don't just want to sit by and watch my people die.

[ sylo ] *long sigh* well, that's pretty much all there is to know about the structure of the syloverse so far. I hope you enjoyed it. I'll rarely be getting into the jumbleverse (if at all), and the dyroverse will be talked about more, albeit scarcely. the syloverse is the main focus for my stories, so that's the one I'll be talking about the most.

[ sylo ] see y'all later.

well, syloboy's having a tough time trying to pick something to share right now, so I'm just gonna use a poll to help speed things up.

so for the 2 people that actually look at this blog:

I nod thoughtfully. "I see. Well, thanks for clearing that up for me."

She smiles again. Any time. By the way, your brother is a real charmer.

I chuckle and say "well, he was supposed to go meet some characters today."

I glance over at Shaper, who replies "hey, none of those characters can even hold a candle to this one."

Andromeda blushes, and sits back down with Shaper, leaning her head on his shoulder.

Arianna smirks and leans over to me, saying "eh, I'll give 'em a month."

I lean over to her and l respond "heh, I'm not so sure. I know Shaper, and he isn't the kinda guy to just last a month in a relationship.

I'll give them a week, tops."
