When your father passed away, K2SO took the liberty of being your guardian. The droid felt responsible for you because you had been his best friend’s child. That being said he wanted to keep you safe and sound. So when he discovered you were seeing Poe the Droid went straight into protective mode.

You had a feeling that something like that would happen. That was why you had attempted to keep things a secret but there was no hiding anything from K2SO. He very quickly found out the truth and he wasted no time in giving your boyfriend the talk.

Sighing, you pinched the bridge of your nose. “K2, must I remind you that I’m not a child anymore?” You asked after having to listen to K2SO threaten Poe. Luckily Poe seemed generally unbothered by this situation. “You can’t go trying to scare off every man I try to be in a relationship with”.

“I’m not trying to scare him off” K2SO insisted. “We’re just talking. Now, where was I? Oh yeah, if you ever hurt [Y/N] I will shoot you in the back of the red with a blaster”.

Sometimes you can’t decide what’s more exhausting—literally growing a baby in your belly, or Benny worrying after you. “What was that?”

You also can’t decide what’s more surprising—that Benny seems to have a supernatural ability to tell when you’re puking, or that he’s at the bathroom in the time it takes you to blink, no matter where he was in the house beforehand. “Lunch didn’t agree with me,” you mumble into the porcelain throne, thinking that this is much closer than you ever wanted to be a toilet in your entire life.

             “We should call the doctor,” Benny says quickly, trying to hide the panic in his voice as he most definitely, most sincerely, panics. You groan in the toilet bowl at his reaction and Benny stands a little taller, leaning into the bathroom just a little in interest, trying to gauge how you’re feeling and what he should do.

             Do you need an ambulance? CPR? An epidural? Benny doesn’t know what an epidural is yet, but he knows that it’s something they do in hospitals and after he went over to Will’s place and they watched that video about home births, he hopes to god almighty or whatever universal power that’s listening that you decide to do a hospital birth.

             Benjamin Miller wants an epidural, goddammit!
