She gains mind powers, so she is a very good liar. She does have tells though. If she's using her powers, her eyes will shine a certain way, hands might glow, or she will conceal her hands by hiding them behind her back, which is odd because she's usually very laid back and always has her arms to her sides or crossed. Also fidgeting, avoiding eye contact, or slight changes in expression can give her away.

She love stargazing! As an assassin and later as a hero who works under the night, the stars and the night sky are an escape from everything . She thinks about the freedom and euphoria they bring, and she feels at home in the night. She loves stargazing with Dawn, who is their partner in assassin work and later in hero work. They will often perch on a rooftop after a patrol and just look at the stars, and they both learned constellations and stuff so they have something to talk about.

Day three of Shipuary prompts by @bittersweetxowo or as I’m now going to call it, OC Ship Showcase prompts. This time it is sweets, so we have Oliver/Ollie(Black hair and red highlights) and Jackson (brown hair) getting ice cream after a pride parade. Oliver whose nickname is Ollie (which is the name you will probably hear the most if not all the time I talk about him). He is a trans masc and he is so cute and precious I can’t. He is also half demon, which is shown through his twin Kamer, who is a demon connected to him (Think of it as a dark side but a tad bit different, as Ollie and his “twin” Kamer are linked but Ollie is still part demon without him, it’s complicated but I’ll try to help y’all make sense of it). Ollie’s parents are super religious, homophobic, and transphobic and Ollie has nearly died going to church with his family multiple times. Luckily, Jackson and his parents are very supportive. Jackson dated Ollie before he transitioned, but Jackson still loves him so that technically make him bi i think? Anyway Jackson always packed extra jeans and t-shirts in his gym bag (He is a basketball player and his team are big Allies, I’m getting sick of the homophobic jerky jocks trope, they can be nice too) as well as a binder for Ollie so when Ollie gets to school, he whisks him off to the locker room and let’s him change. Ollie’s hero name is Ritual because..summoning demons.. yeah I’m not creative idk. Anyway no Jackson doesn’t have powers but he is pretty good with tech so he sometimes goes as the Tech/Support hero Cryptic on patrol, interviews with Ollie so Ollie doesn’t panic because he’s are a shy boy! here you go @frostycausedaniceage! Why did you choose the most complicated one lol. I can’t go into as much detail as I would like because one of the major plot twists/ character development moments comes from family but ok here we go:

Maya’s dad José Hernandaz is an active duty Airforce soldier who was deployed to Afghanistan when she was 14. After he finished his two years (two more which would be spent in Afghanistan) he was supposed to retire. Maya turns 16, and with a month left of his tour, he is shot and killed. His death is actually what starts Maya’s whole story. Maya adored her father and his death really destroyed her mentally, but she slowly got over it with the help of her friends and family

Maya’s mom Isabella Hernadaz is a scientist working at Alchamax, an experimental research facility that focuses on finding cures for diseases, which the section Maya’s mom works at focusing on lung cancer. She is very kind and sweet, but also tough. She is the type of mom to tell you gently not to touch a hot stove, but if you try to touch it again after her warnings she will smack your hand with a spoon. She is often really busy because of her work hours, leaving Maya and her sister alone a lot, especially during the summer time, but tries to make time to play games. They have a family tradition of family game night on Fridays which Maya adores. She is really close to her mom and gets a lot of her morals from her

Lastly, we have Maya’s 5 year old sister, Lily. Maya adores Lily with every fiber of her being. Since she is left alone with her because of her mom’s job, she gets to spend a lot of time with her, which Maya doesn’t mind one bit. She is very sweet, energetic, thoughtful, and naive, and literally just pure joy incarnate. I love Lily so much, especially since she comes to Maya’s room a lot with lily flowers, saying “Now you can have me around at all times!” So pure I can’t lol. Maya has a great relationship with all of her family, but definitely favorite family member goes to Lily.

This is my D&D character Nyx (one on the left) with @bitter-goodbyes D&D character Florian! A little bit about Nyx is that she is a moon elf and the daughter of the nobles of Phlan. She is adopted, and she hates her adoptive parents as they are tyrants and abusive to her kind. The only reason they adopted her was to boost their PR with the elves in the country, and now they are absolute tyrants and oppressors. She is a sorceress and has a partner named Athen (they/them). She rebelled against her family and fought the army they sent to burn part of the village because they "corrupted" their daughter after they found out she and Athen were dating. Now she is an assassin working for the Collective, hates humans, and is very sassy and kind of a b word before you get to know her. If you want to know more about Florian ask @bitter-goodbyes, his backstory is very interesting and they deserve more love. BTW, no base this time and bonus points if you can tell me why my character's name is Nyx!

Arial's greatest wish isn't to get to the surface, although that might be part of it. Her real greatest wish is just to see her brothers have their greatest wishes fulfilled, to see them happy, hopeful, and alive. And may Asgore help you get in the way of that goal. She severely injured a kid because they stole Papyrus' scarf and gave him a black eye? Bone? whatever. Imagine what she will do to you. TLDR only thing she wants in life is to see her siblings actually genuinely happy. And to marry Val but that's more of a side goal

It's my 2 year anniversary on Tumblr 🥳

Hey guys I’m back again with my OC ship showcase! I am aware shipruary 2024 is going to start soon but I’m a procrastinator and haven’t been on in a while so we’re just going to ignore that. Day 7 is movie so we have Xiya (blonde) and her girlfriend Faye (brunette) watching a movie on Xiya’s laptop. You can imagine whatever movie you think they are watching, I think Morbius because those are the only appropriate faces to make when watching that movie. Anyway into the lore! Xiya Pierce is one of my spider people OCs but she does exist in the same world as all my other OCs. Her hero name is Taser Web because she has a venom shock but she can also shoot web out of her wrist and these webs are high conductive to her venom shock. So she basically shoots mini tasers. She is a cheerleader (or was until she got bit) and has severe ptsd! Essentially how she got bit is she was kidnapped by Gradient (evil science organization and the big bads of this world remember them lol) and was forced to stay still as the spider was put on her hand and bit her. Sad thing is she didn’t even realize she had powers until she got out thanks to Incantation. Speaking of incantation let’s talk about her! Faye Conway is my magic user/ sorceress character. Her hero name is incantation and she is essentially able to do anything with magic but she has to develop and practice the spells herself. It takes a while to make a new spell but she tries to make it work. Anyway she has known Xiya since middle school so when Xiya went missing Faye didn’t rest until she found her. They started dating a little bit after and now Faye’s main focus is helping Xiya overcome her trauma. They’re actually both theatre kids (Faye managed to convince Xiya to try out for a play after she quit cheerleading and the rest is history) and they’re one of the few characters who actually have good parents that aren’t dead or dying! That was a lot I just love them so much. As always base is included check them out they are so talented and hopefully I can post more regularly now.
