Day six of using shipuary prompts to show off my oc ships! Hey guys, I couldn’t think of a good one for pillow so we are moving on to laugh! These are actually pretty new OCs that I created, so I don’t have as much lore with them, but the concept is cute, I think, so I would love to share. The one on the left with the braids is Seline, and the one on the right with curly hair is Mauve. Their powers are hard to explain, but they’re basically connected as one. If one person is hurt, the other is hurt as well. They have heightened speed, strength, agility, and reflexes, and are aware of where the other is at all times. They can communicate telepathically with each other, and can even shoot out energy blasts out of their hands, however it depends on the time of day. If it’s night, Mauve can do it, and if it’s day, Seline can do it. They can also swap places with each other, which they use to make sure there are no blind spots between the two. They can “fuse”, which basically allows them to use their blasts no matter the time of day and grants them supernatural speed and strength, however it’s risky since injuries hurt more. They can also “disconnect”, but it leaves them in a weakened state, and if one of them dies the weakened state is permanent. Still, better than both of them dying. 

Jackson and 🕷️?

Their biggest fear is Ollie getting hurt or killed. He cares for him. Mundane fears would be people sneaking up on him, it's mundane because the only reason he is afraid is being of Maya's powers and hates being the butt of a joke. Also, funnily enough, he's scared of ghosts, again because his friend loves to traumatize him. Scared of the dark, scared of bugs, which is funny since he is a football player.

Hey all! For my first post I wanted to show an accurate representation of myself after hearing my friend rant about their kin list for the unteenth time. Just kidding, it would be me hitting my head against a wall. This is burnout!

Maybe 🔫 for Gia?

Gia is a part of an apocalyptic AU i made, and she is a siren much like Lani. I'm thinking of adding her to my main au as well, but the apocalyptic au thing is important. In the apocalyptic au, there is this mist that is mixed into the air and quickly spreads all over the country. The mist brings certain DNA to the forefront, for example if you are human but had fairy ancestors/ fairy DNA, if you came in contact with the mist, you are now a fairy. IK that sounds kinda stupid but thats how it works, trust me. Anyway, because of this, Gia, who is a Goby siren (basically different sirens are based off of different types of fish/ sea life, and Gia's is the Goby fish, which is paired with Sarah, who is a Pistol Shrimp siren, look up the symbiotic relationship, it's cool) is hunted down by the government along with the other alters (people whose DNA was altered) because they want to experiment on them. Gia therefore can't trust anyone who isn't an alter, and is quick to turn on who she sees as a threat. However, she is still a 14 year old kid, and does tend to trust too easily. Her trust has been broken, and since she sees it as her duty to protect Sarah, her girlfriend who is now blind, she will be very quick to kill if you try and hurt Sarah. They had been backstabbed by their own family when they first turned, so she has sever trust issues.

Dawn and 📎?

Dawn is ambidextrous! She can draw, write, fight, and shoot with both hands! She’s the type of ambidextrous person that can do the same thing with both hands just as well, not that one hand is sometimes better than the other.

Faith with 🌟?

She love stargazing! As an assassin and later as a hero who works under the night, the stars and the night sky are an escape from everything . She thinks about the freedom and euphoria they bring, and she feels at home in the night. She loves stargazing with Dawn, who is their partner in assassin work and later in hero work. They will often perch on a rooftop after a patrol and just look at the stars, and they both learned constellations and stuff so they have something to talk about.

Maybe Cassie and 😨

Fight, She's very spunky and an anti hero/ vigilante. She's a good person, but hates heroes for lore reasons (even though she's dating one, it's an oc on this list points if you can guess who). Yeah, square up because this B*tch ain't gonna run.

THIS. This needs to change! Aro characters can be so entertaining and interesting, especially since I have some Aro friends of my own. As an artist and content creator, I will try my best to make the Aro community proud, and together we as a whole community should strive to give this part of the community some more representation. 

aro culture is being treated as too boring, even more than asexuals at this point, to appear in media. even if we have the capacity to feel a wide range of emotion, create meaningful connections, and be interesting and well-rounded characters in general, we're not written because what makes a character relevant is apparently that they can experience romantic love.

even if aromantics have so much interesting commentary on society. even if we. have so much relevant and insightful human experience that doesn't have to be conflated with romanticism all the time. even if there's space for some extraordinary character arcs. even if these characters could ALSO establish dynamics that are emotionally raw without being confined to the grounds of it having to be 'love.'

and how the fans influence people to never try and create these characters since they are so ignored in fandom. everyone's so on board, so excited with queer headcanons when they're hinted at. that is, unless they are presented with the idea of aromanticism because it makes for a boring character.
