not @ me like associating all bollywood songs with ya mans Shri Krishn like he's my school girl crush 😂🥰 re-listened to tum kya mile frm rocky aur rani ki prem kahani and it made me have feels haha:
"Beiraada raaston ki
Bann gaye ho manzilein
Mushkilein hal hain tumhin se
Ya tumhin ho mushkilein
Tum kya mile
Tum kya mile
Hum na rahe hum
Tum kya mile
Jaise mere
Dil mein khile
Phagun ke mausam
Tum kya mile" ~ 💙
imagine doing a dramatic bollywood enactment of it and Him just watching and smiling his natkhat smile ajajahaksksb 😭😭😭
(afterthought may have been inspired by @dancingpotato s post haha)
Atmarama is one who is established in self. When one attains the state of atmarama, one becomes self suficient, satisfied within himself and feels no need for anything else.
This stage of purified narcisism while being emerged into ones own existance produces bliss - ananda and keeps one self satisfied.
However our effords for self satisfaction can never be compared or equalised to an intimate relationship we experience with a lover. Shanti one experiences in atmarama devoid of bhakti is just a form of purified narcisism. To experience higher rasa, Atma must relate to Paramatma and experience spiritual flavour.
Bhakti requires that intimate relationship between Atma and Paramatma. This is required in love. Lover and beloved. Once a person finds himself out of the darkness of ignorance and realises himself, becomes established in the self, then his spiritual journey can start and one can experience more than just peace and ananda. One can then emerge in bhakti and experience higher rasa with Rasaraj Sri Krishna.
In this state one remains individual and yet still loses himself completely in constant giving. Then a mystical neverending cycle happens; giving, one receives even more, but only to give again and to receive yet more… love is an ever increasing cycle of ectasy, it is a verb, an action, it’s not an abstract construction and definitely not narcisism, purified or not. Love is Krishna.
Jay Shri Radhe!

Day Six of Navratri
9 days, 9 Godesses
Day Six: Maa Katyayani
Once there lived a sage called Katyayana who prayed to the goddess to be born as his child in order to kill Mahishasura. She agreed and was born as his daughter and thus was called Katyayani. When the gods invoked Mahashakti – the primordial feminine power to protect them from the demon, Mahisha, she emerged from the sacrificial fire of the sage Katyayan. All the male gods bestowed their special powers and weapons on her. She is the avatara of Parvati in the form of the warrior goddess and is one of the most well-known and beloved of her forms.
Riding a lion, she proceeded towards the Vindhya mountains where the demon lived and killed him. Hence, she is also known as Mahishasuramardini.

"Those who are devoted and have love for Me, in their constant contemplation of Me, their lives intertwined with Mine, they illuminate each other with their knowledge of Me, and their conversations are filled with the joy and contentment they find in Me." ~Bhagavad Gita 10.9
*Ram sees Hanuman's curly thick hair*
Ram: I think I should get a perm
Sita: Not in this lifetime you're not
*one reincarnation later*
Radha: Ok, fine I admit it's cute
Ok one thing they don't show on screen of Mahabharat Adaptation is Draudapi was “Rajasvala” meaning “a menstruating woman” when the whole cheer-haran happened.
At that time, a Rajavala used to wear one single cloth or “Ekvastra”, so when the horrific vastra-haran began, it was that vastra that turned to a never-ending miracle.
One thing that I also noticed is how there's now this disgusting taboo that a woman is "impure" during her period, but Kanha ji listened and he came to her rescue when she called. He turned that same blood-stained cloth never-ending just to save her honor!
I wish this taboo will go away because God is in You so how can you ever be “Impure” especially experiencing something very natural and perhaps healthy too? He would've come to her rescue whether she was menstruating or not, but I love this detail because this signifies that nothing makes a difference to him, so why are we making women feel bad or worse "impure" in the name of God when not even God feels this way?
there are days like today when I am overcome with the gratitude and awe stemming from the simple realisation that everything I have comes from others. everything I am has been influenced by others. someone made the clothes I’m wearing, and someone also wore them before me. someone made the food I’m eating and the ingredients I’m buying, and they were arranged on the store shelf by someone too, and someone wiped the floor I walked on to buy it. someone delivered my letters and hundred of strangers worked to make the movie I watched last night, and my memories are filled with people and things they made and feelings they made me feel, and when I die someone will dig the hole for my coffin, too, and someone will take care of my belongings. I am never alone and I exist thanks to thousands and thousands of strangers

देवी प्रसीदतु मई ब्रह्मचारिण्यनुत्तमा..ॐ देवी ब्रह्मचारिण्यै नमः
hey dear sakhis,
so I've had a tough few days and I just wanted to share this message on behalf of Shri Krishna in my head : if any of you are ever crying or upset, he is there with you and he is crying as well. don't ever think you are alone in your tears. please never feel bad if you ask Shri Krishna to help you or get you out of it, he is always waiting to make you feel better. you just have to let him. he loves you all very much and hates to see you suffer. 💙🦚💖
honestly at this point i think ppl just find reasons to discriminate :(
like,, literally if the women in the time of even shri krishna couldn't escape it...
