I cannot stress enough to you that all American government agencies are falling apart at the seams right now and they will not be put back together for the foreseeable future. EPA DHS ED VA FDA NIH IRS CDC HHS NPS etc... Elon Musk is dismantling everything. Anyone who resigns or is laid off now, the word we (I am an agency employee) are receiving internally is that their position will be abolished, not backfilled.

Do you like eating clean, safe food?

If so, you need to write to your senators and representatives RIGHT NOW. Trump is not obeying the rule of law. He is illegally firing all the inspectors general of these agencies (they are literally being escorted by security out of their offices) so that there is no one left to stop him from doing quite literally anything he wants. He has bypassed the internal structure of all of the agencies by plugging in external email servers to push typo-filled emails and memos written by employees of the heritage foundation directly into the inbox of every federal agency employee in the country, threatening to terminate them.

The rule of law is dead. The only mechanism left to stop any of this is mass public outcry via convincing your state's congressmen & women to do something, because right now they are staying absolutely silent and none of us in these agencies can figure out why. A massacre is happening right now and every single American will feel the material, concrete consequences of this in their daily lives very soon if nothing is done.

I'm in an abusive home situation; my Douchebag Roommate throws out my things, threatens property damage to the house, has threatened physical violence and to literally shoot me. He sends creepy, obsessive, sexually harassing texts about my bathroom usage while purposely locking me out of the bathroom, has put cameras in my house. He just threw out my couches and "replaced" them. He moved his wife and child in without my or the property owner's permission, and hasn't paid his share of the bills in well over a year. He's started harassing me from multiple phone numbers so I can't block him.

I'm trying to get enough money together to move out. I must keep my current rent paid; I need the reference for a new place. It's on record at work that I'm experiencing financial abuse, barely getting by, and they still cut my hours down to almost nothing with zero warning. My chronic illness has been flaring and I'm now incredibly sick again.

It is so hard going out in public sometimes. As someone who’s pretty visibly disabled it’s hard.

The constant staring, people laughing, people pointing at you. It’s annoying. It’s frustrating. It makes me hate the word sometimes.

Went out today to get milkshakes with my family and I saw some guys in leather jackets, they looked so cool but they immediately started staring at me and I could just feel the judgement from them. Later on I was waiting for my milkshake and was staring to the side, not staring at anyone in particular, just staring at nothing. This group of girls walked by. One of the girls cleared her throat loudly and said “stop staring at us! God.” I just felt so embarrassed. I wasn’t even staring at them.

I did nothing wrong to deserve treatment like this. It’s just existing that seems to make people uncomfortable. This isn’t the first time I’ve had similar experiences, and it probably won’t be the last. It just really is terrible that people can’t just mind their own business and go on with their day. There’s no reason to be rude to disabled people.

I learned how to crochet in one afternoon and it was the best decision I've ever made omg I'm obsessed.
