THE 422

Also referred to as:

Skyclads.

The 422 formed shortly after the battle of geonosis, is composed of clones (obviously.) that have a strange command structure (will be explained further down.) and is ran by strangely two commanders, (reasones will also be explained.)

The command structure is experimental and such only the 422 are formed this way, having four captains, one in charge of all ground forces, the second being in charge of the stealth operations, the third in charge of all ground vehicles and the fourth being in charge of all air/space based vehicles.

The two commanders are reported to by two captains each, one overseeing the Vehicle and flight captains and the other in charge of the stealth and ground force captains.

Both commanders report to the General and/or the Admiral of their fleet.

Their unique blue and purple war paint is to pay respect to their General, due to her having the blue splotches on her skin due to her not being human but humanoid and so they paint their patterns to make their general feel included in a sense and not to feel too odd.

The 422, where the clone legion who also battle tests the experimental weapons and armour hence why the phase 3 helmet was exclusively used by them hence no other legion is seen using phase three and went straight on to the stormtrooper armour.

The Epsilon Troopers (insert jokes here.) are a specialised group of clones unique to the 422 via their skills, due to the shields durability they have been seen forming shield walls covering their brothers as they push the enemy back with their brothers shooting at the enemy, another unique aspect about them is that they are trained to deal with magma guards and assassin droids in melee combat giving the 422 a slight edge.

Another thing giving them a slight edge is, as mentioned before, their command structure, allowing more to be done and less strain on the commanders and officers, meaning they are more effective in theory when it comes to battling on multiple fronts allowing them to be more versatile.

The reasoning for the darker tones on the armor is due to them having a preference for fighting in dark environments, meaning that they will have a better advantage, despite the bright slightly faded orange in their armor, although the stealth operations are better suited for it if push comes to shove, the majority of clones are trained in stealth and espionage.

The clones personalities differ greatly between the different sections of the 422, with the ground forces being more outgoing and friendly and the vehicle crews preferring the safety of their armoured vehicles to being social, but will work with others easily.

The stealth operations prefer to be left alone and are not very vocal, preferring to communicate via sign language and morse code, but will speak to the others when needed on a mission and the likes.

The pilots are normally friendly and like their women (ranging from human to togruta.) and their drink and are often, (when on leave.) found in the many bars and clubs on Corusaunt.

Chapter 1: destruction of the normandy.

Ghost POV:

Phoenix and I were walking to engineering, just walking about, we had recently walked through both the command deck, and quarters along with the medical bay, and stopped for a chad with Karen and walked through the cargo bay to get to engineering.

"Hey Addams." I say walking over to the man, as Phe walks over to talk to Tali.

"Hey Ghost. What brings you and Phe down here?" He askes turning away from his terminal.

"Nothing much, There's little to do so we thought may as well walk about, but it also occurred to me that I don't know much about the Normandy. If it doesn't take up too much of your time care to tell me about it?"

"No, I'd be glad to tell you, what would you like to know about first?" He replies. "Hmm... How about the IES system?"  I ask politely as Adam begins to explain.

"Internal Emission Sink or IES as everyone call is for short, enables us to mask the Normandy's heat signature from scanners rendering us invisible."

"I'm guessing invisible until someone looks out a window?"

"Precisely."

"So how does it mask our heat signature?"

"By temporally 'storing' the head in lithium heat sinks deep within the hull. Anything else you want to know?"

I think for a few seconds. "What are the limitations of the IES system Adams?"

"Well the system doesn't work during FTL flight because it blue-shifts the Normandy's emissions beyond the sinks' ability to store, and foe a small period of time after exiting FTL flight. And as you mentioned visual scans or looking out a window will also give away our position. Anything else?"

Before I could respond the ship shook and a few small explosions were heard on the other decks as well as a few in the area we were currently in.

"Tali! Adams! Get every one to the escape pods ASAP!" I yell as they nod and start assisting other crew members out of the room and to were the pods are, leaving me and Phoenix to put the fires out, Adams soon returned.

"Adams get to the escape pods now!"

"No can do, someone needs to keep the engine running." He says heading back to the terminal, I block his path.

"Adams get to the god damn escape pod, me and Phe will deal with that."

He goes to argue again but the ship shook again causing more explosions and a large panel to fall nearly on top of me and Adams, luckily I caught it using my biotics but it was still heavy, and Adams had still not left.

"Engineer Adams! Get yourself to an escape pod now! That is an order!" He looks ad me knowing that I can't hold this panel up forever he nods and goes to leave.

"See you on the other side Ghost." He says as he leaves my sight.

I finally drop the panel, I head to the terminal showing the engines status, red warning signs flash across the screen as another explosion goes off and the artificial gravity is of luckily my mag-boots prevent me from flying off as the screen shows critical failure as the EZO engine begins to glow and overheat, then finally explodes sending me and Phe flying out into space, or so we thought everything goes white as I loose consciousness.
