A sketch of the death of milo of croton housed in the national gallery of ireland
Wild story this, all my lecturers were sick today so I just fucked off to go draw in the gallery today
Another folk costume! I've been sourcing all the reference from the nat geo article about the wild men of Europe I really recommend it
I remember watching Trigun for the first time in 15 parts per episode capulto sub like 8 years ago when I first got into anime and it being just such an amazing experience and I'm so glad there's been a fandom resurgence its just so good to see him again
The strawman is a friendly fellow
Look at this really pleasant animation of a deer walking through a forest I made!
I saw a post about the tradition of the wild men of different countries and I just loved their costumes so much I had to draw some, this one is specifically referencing one from England but I don't know much about the history of them and would love is someone could tell me more !
A childrens book cover I found for the legend Lāčausis (bear ears) which inspired Andrejs Pumpurs to write the epic Lāčplēsis (bear ripper)
But they were brothers.
I'm going back to my roots with this one because the Lāčplēsis rock opera never truly leaves my mind, THEY WE'RE BROTHERS not by blood but by choice! until the interferance of enemy forces and the influence of greed and guilt tore them apart, its literally tragic and on my mind all the time.
I disappeared for an even longer time and now I'm studying animation in college and even better at art. Anyway I colour picked the pallet from the glass animals album Zaba
I draw things! then drop them here ☀︎ no consistency just vibes ☀︎ 21y/o ☀︎ 🇱🇻 🇮🇪 ☀︎ animation student ☀︎ any pronouns ☀︎
