I don't know if I got the right 70s vibe. I just kinda looked it up on Pinterest and drew pieces of outfits I liked, but all the references were giving modern 70s re-imaginings, which are also very fun.

It was nice to draw something new for once. I've been working on the same animation project for like 2 months in college, and this felt like a breath of fresh air, honestly I feel a bit rusty in art rn

Whenever I like something enough I always get really nervous about making fanart because I get attached to characters or moments and I'm scared of not doing them the justice they deserve. So in honour of working through my fears, slowly, I decided to make some character designs for how I've always imagined Remus Lupin and Sirius Black. I really liked the idea of the mauraders era because it feels so detached from the source that its its own thing entirely and I love that, I love that we as a collective can just make that happen. I've always kind of seen Harry Potter as the perfect sandbox for stories and the mauraders just is proof of that. So I feel safer making art for it bow since this is my interpretation of something that is other people's interpretations.
