Honestly I Just Dislike The Oscar's, Never Was Interested Before But Now It Just Looks Downright Distasteful

I remember this ep. in CW absolutely breaking my heart because...I really felt for Bane??? 

Like I genuinely loved that we saw into how morally grey yet just he was and believed in honor in some ways. (And I loved the concept of Obi-Wan and him being closer friends even if it was ultimately fake.)

I broke down when Cad found out and you could visibly see the betrayal in his eyes at realizing this sudden friendship was to good to be true :’(

Whoever said writing isn't therapy? I don't need a couch and a person to talk to, I just need a pen and pad to vomit out all of my feelings, hurts and wants, desires, fears, and dreams.

Fuck y'all saying writing myself into characters isn't technically correct? I breathe them out from entries of my journal, they're inside of me. How the hell else am I going to tell the stories I want when I'm not in there myself.

There’s a protest going on against AI art over on artstation, so I feel like now is the time for me to make a statement on this issue! 

I wholeheartedly support the ongoing protest against AI art. Why? Because my artwork is included in the datasets used to train these image generators without my consent. I get zero compensation for the use of my art, even though these image generators cost money to use, and are a commercial product. 

Musicians are not being treated the same way. Stability has a music generator that only uses royalty free music in their dataset. Their words: “Because diffusion models are prone to memorization and overfitting, releasing a model trained on copyrighted data could potentially result in legal issues.” Why is the work of visual artists being treated differently?

Many have compared image generators to human artists seeking out inspiration. Those two are not the same. My art is literally being fed into these generators through the datasets, and spat back out of a program that has no inherent sense of what is respectful to artists. As long as my art is literally integrated into the system used to create the images, it is commercial use of my art without my consent.

Until there is an ethically sourced database that compensates artists for the use of their images, I am against AI art. I also think platforms should do everything they can to prevent scraping of their content for these databases. 

Artists, speak out against this predatory practice! Our art should not be exploited without our consent, and we deserve to be compensated when our art is exploited for commercial use.

Possibly a controversial opinion:

World building does not have to be super detailed and can still be very compelling and believable.

HOWEVER!

Lazy writing and/or plot holes in the story simply being explained away by "rules of the world" is pure malarkey!

Petition to raise Echo's salary. This man needs a break from not only his brothers and sister but also from...life bro!

Let him grieve this he's lost, let him breathe from the Empire for a minute, let him meditate (because of course he would), let him accept what happened to his body after Skako, let him have a moment to PORCESS WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING. I think he needs it but I think WE, as a collective, need it too.

I think this sums up a lot of their relationship (even down to the short/tall jokes)

Even though you‘re not here anymore, maybe a part of your soul can find a home in mine.
