Apex Recombinant

The Apex program, unlike the Avatar program, no longer requires integration with local sentient life. Previously, the main requirements were for the Avatar to be as similar to the Navi as possible, so that the pilot could more easily make contact and gain more confidence, as well as facilitate exploration of Pandora without being compromised by the planet's immune system. The new program requires the new Recombinants genetically enhanced  to perform their tasks more effective under all conditions. To do this, the regenerated bodies no longer require similarity to the Navi and allow them to instill all the necessary skills to survive in any situation on Pandora.The memory and personality of a trained person in the body of a Navi-derived creature with the addition of genes from various Pandora's Fauna.

Recombinants gain new abilities with new genes

Camouflage: ability to change skin colour to camouflage in the environment.

Thermoregulation: ability to control body temperature.

Sharp retractable claws on hands and feet.

Two long, flexible antennae behind the ears. Ended with fine, sensitive hairs. Helping to detect any movement in the air. Able to pick up vibrations when touching the ground.

To increase mobility and speed, the recombinants have had genes from Earth Felines and long-extinct reptiles added.

The legs become toe walking paws, with a large lateral dangling toe with an enlarged claw for climbing and jumping onto prey with the ability to hold on to it.

Thanator`s genes gave most impact Back covered with movable chitinous shell originating at the base of the kuru and extending to the beginning of the tail. Chitinous collar with 6 spurs. When open, the petals act as an echo sounder and resonator, making it easier to find and amplify the direction of sound. Four retractable black canines in gum area, on the upper and lower jaw. Upper lip consist of two movable parts. It are capable of rising upwards, exposing teeth and elongated fangs to intimidate pray.

Viperwolf genes: Strong gregarious instinct, enhances their performance as a group Slinger genes:Sensitive sense of smell and invulnerability to toxins. M.Banshee genes: A pair of wings that grow from the shoulder blade area, when folded, look like ridges down the back. They cannot take off from the ground, but they can glide in the wind.

Island Na’vi Lore!!!

Physicality and Overview

Note: The Island Na’vi are a personal project that I cherish deeply. I would appreciate that if anyone wants to use my lore or make an oc to please ask first. Thank you

Overview:

These Na’vi reside on the large islands of Pandora far away from its continents most of the time. Their physicality and coloration makes them stand out from other Na’vi. They are known as alchemists, wayfinders and warriors.

Their most notable features are their yellow tint and the fin on their tail. The yellow is a naturally occurring thing that can show you their health or even how strong they are.

The Ataníe Clan is one of the main clans of the Island Na’vi species, though there are also smaller clans and even small groups of outcasts, voyagers and loners. Island Na’vi are usually very friendly and welcoming, open for trades and any other visitor. Though, after the RDA their rules have become strict.

Their bodies have evolved for both land and sea exploration, they are strong and lean and their tails are perfect for both environment. Plus, perfect for balancing on their flying mounts, the Txuryak.
