the best thing about language learning is that you don’t have to give up leisure time activities such as reading books or watching tv shows n you only have to switch that piece of media to your target language n you can enjoy it all the same while getting more necessary work done
Today's studying area ☕️
I got a s**t tone of work done in a 6h studying session and got also a quick 1h workout afterwards! I'm so happy as that's a lot for a Monday 🔥

Hey everyone, I'd like to know if you listen music when you study and if you do which music do you listen to? I'm currently writing an essay so if you could recommend something to me that would be great.
My music at the moment is a piano instrumental version of different song from old Barbie movies, that I just found by accident, so no worries I won't judge.
Slowly getting used to using my iPad to take digital notes! Hate how much it heats up though, looking forward to trading this one in for the new one next month 💛
15.04.21// sunny day walks and sunny day study sessions ☕️ we’re so close to the end of this term! I am blessed to not have any exams this term, only papers! And only one more term and I’ve finished my degree! Masters degrees fly by, I can’t believe I’m 2/3 finished already.
Sending love and motivation to everyone 💕

To all my gals on studybrl.
Remember this is not a race!
You can start late, you can fail, you can start all over again!
I doesn’t make you less of a person. We all fail, we all start somewhere, the important thing here is being patient with yourself and consistent and overall be happy with what you’re doing!
Don’t be afraid of learning and taking care of your mental health at the same time!!
Please y’all, take care and be proud of who you are today and everything y’all did today, keep on the good job guys.
I have outlined my whole week with like three goals per day (I really need to catch up in a lot of subjects) let’s see if I’m able to follow it. I miss libraries.
I'm thrilled, today I had the last session with my first patient, she's a lovely girl of 15 and she's great. Every one of my teachers at uni told me that teens are so complicated and that establish rapport with them is difficult af, but in my experience it wasn't, we click from the beginning, today she and her mom were so grateful and happy for everything we achieved during our time working together as a team, also, she told me she'd never feel as understood as she did in therapy with me and that she's gonna miss me, as if that wasn't enough, at the end of the session I told her I have a gift for her, a diary so she can write her thoughts and feelings now that I won't be there, she told me that she have something for me too, she gave me a beautiful necklace, and before she hug me, being honest I almost cry right there. It's the best first experience I could've ask for and I'm gonna remember it and her forever 😭🤍
i would like my 7-day weekends back (aka summer break)
