rip nettles and morning. this is worse than mad queen dany to me
probably cold take: gendry should have been thirteen at the start of AGOT instead of sixteen
ok anyway. i’m killing reblogs/replies on that tully/cat post bc everyone gets on my nerves but let us consult the text for a moment. cat stark isn’t a big mean evil step mother out to get him the entire foundation for the dynamic between her and jon is that he does not exist to her. every memory he has of her is about her ignoring him/looking at him like he is a stranger. she makes up what she thinks he is like after the fact because she functionally never met him despite living with him for 14 years. the single on page interaction they have is when she is in the middle of a nervous breakdown. i need people to have some precision about what this dynamic actually is because it is bad in a very specific and interesting way that affects both characters in a very specific way. the “this is not your place” situation is not grown out of active cruelty it is grown out of total absence
your dany being into darkstar has opened my 3rd eye. this is my 5000:1 winds prediction now
listen the fact that she picked out daario known flamboyant bad boy monologuer man makes me think that if she were ever hanging out in dorne and witnessed him do his men call me darkstar and i am of the night routine she might see him and be at at least like okay hear me out
I’ve been such a hipster about this but I’ve finally gotten around to listening to the audiobook version of ASOIAF & as of the 2nd book it’s pretty awesome? Try & guess who these ppl. are supposed to be & I’ll draw you a nice rock or something

dany shouldn’t be at the club she should be at the barn that she mucks out as a summer job forming an unbreakable psychospiritual bond with the horse that no one before her could ride (he’s misunderstood) and then they go to City and win Big Show together so he doesn’t have to be put down for his behavioral issues and also he finally jumps the water obstacle (reoccurring metaphor for the struggles they’ve gone through as a team) and she makes enough prize money to buy him forever the final shot is of her bareback riding him into the sunset as a pop song about being free from 2010 plays in the background. if you even care.
