‘Of Love And Starlight’ is a fantasy/slice of life interactive novel in which you must take on the quest of saving your club, with a custom MC, whilst battling with (or running head first into) falling in love— be it romantically or platonically —along the way.

This is, first and foremost, something fluffy and romantic— it’ll follow a story, yes, but at a slower pace as opposed to something fast and action-filled. Additionally; the poly routes, and proper development of the platonic route(s?), will be added at a later date— given that this is an inherently romantic IF I’m going to focus on that first, so please bear with me.

The blog is run primarily by me (Glitch!), but Cypher will be proofreading and adjusting my answers when necessary (it will absolutely be necessary at times, I struggle with words sometimes)— though if you want to ask either of us something specifically then just specify a name :)

And, finally, a disclaimer:

I’m not the best writer anyway, but that’s probably not helped by the fact that I know absolutely nothing about code. Whilst this game functions, and does so smoothly, it isn’t the most attractive of designs. Eventually I’ll be confident enough to change that, but for now I'm afraid you’ll have to tolerate plain colours (at least they match!)— I'm sorry about that.

They say that the stars are beautiful here, that they've never seen something so bright against the night sky, twinkling in a hundred constellations hung by the deities. And they say, in hushed whispers, that every child has their twinkling mural, a pattern assigned to them at birth— an inescapable label, a supposed tell of their character.

You? Well your's is ‘Pyxis, the compass that guides through storms, though for a guiding force there seems to be little direction to your freetime. 

You play a student trying to keep the Stargazing Club afloat at Feywood Academy, in the wake of its dwindling popularity— apparently the other students don’t value the celebration of the constellations as much as you. But you aren’t alone! Join forces with your clubmates and bring some starlight back to the student body, or at least some to yourselves whilst you try.

Customise your MC: name, appearance, gender (via pronouns), and magyk speciality!

Amongst other things; befriend, antagonise,  or start an enemies to lovers arc with one (or, eventually, multiple) of four ROs— three gender flippable, and one genderlocked non-binary

Vespertines: an interactive fiction

Vespertines is an urban fantasy/romance interactive fiction about demons and found family. You play as a human working at a bar for demons, getting to know your customers and collecting their stories.

The game is currently in development. It is developed in Twine and will be released episodically. A demo will be available mid 2022 on itch.io. 

Vespertines is recommended for mature audiences. Content warnings are available below and at the start of the game.

On the run from your past, you find yourself in a new city with no plan and nowhere to go. A mysterious individual called Ashheart appears before you and refers you to a bar called ‘Vespertines’. You expect the usual; cleaning up spills and handling drunk customers. What you do not expect is for your new boss to be a horned demon known as Gremory who collects stories as payment instead of money.

You and your new teammates are aiming to restore Woodward's reputation by trying to make it to the championships. Will Woodward emmerge from the shadows of its former glory? Amongst it all will you find love and friendship? Most importantly will you be able to make a name for yourself and leave your mark on the realm of volleyball or will you keep riding the coat tails of your father's vanishing legacy?

Make Our Days Count is a slice of life sports romance IF that follows your 19 year old MC as they go through the ups and downs of their university life and of being part of the volleyball team. MODC is aimed for a 16+ audience and will be predominantly a character-driven game. It will tackle some slightly dark themes, but I'm aiming for it to be a light hearted read for the most part. Some of the themes in MODC will include found family, friendship, love, second chances and finding ones' self.

*This game is still in very, very early stages of development. This is my first time writing or coding anything, so please be patient with me. I'm doing this for fun and don't want to put any pressure on myself,as such demo will be a long way off.

SYNOPSIS.

new town and a new job. having just left city life for various reasons and moved to lone pine north, the northern - and smaller - set of twin towns separated by the largest river in the country, you feel ready to start the next chapter of your life.

set during the first year as a teacher at lone pine north elementary, you do your best to settle into your new life and your role as a teacher, balancing private life and education, and solving the drama of young teenagers - and perhaps your own drama as well.

thank you for today is a slice-of-life / romance story that focuses on relationships. while the game has a focus on the romance genre, it is entirely possible to go through the game being just friends with the cast, or entering into queerplatonic relationships with some of them. thank you for today is rated 18+ for strong language and optional sexual content. other content warnings might be added. minors do not interact.

OPAL YONAS. 34. trans female [she/her] high energy and passionate, Opal loves her job as the tech teacher, to the point where she's rarely seen outside her classroom. even in her free time, she spends most of her days upgrading electronics, whether it's her own or someone else's, and she's usually the first stop for half the town when it comes to computer issues.

SHILOH AMOS. 40. agender [they/them] a calm and quiet presence at the otherwise bustling school, Shiloh seems to walk around with a bubble of comfort surrounding them. though they're loved by everyone, no one seems to know too much about their personal life and they clearly value their privacy.

AUGUST/AUGUSTINE VINTER. 36. gender-selectable [he/him, she/her, they/them] though their job title is 'janitor', August/ine is more the school's fix-it-all, taking care of most of the building's maintenance. they come across as slightly unsociable when you first meet them, concentrated on their job rather than getting to know the school's staff, but most people seem to respect their almost single-minded focus.

the convenience store cashier. ENVER HALE. 26. trans male [he/him] the only connection Enver has to the local elementary school is that he used to go there ten years ago. now he works at the local convenience store half his time, before disappearing from the small town the other half, coming and going like the wind, and their mood seems to change just as easily.

the parent. MAX RODRIGUEZ. 42. gender-selectable [he/him, she/her, ze/zir] there are two things you know about Max; ze runs half the town, and ze loves zir twin sons, Felix and Luciano, more than anything else. it's easy to butt heads with zem as ze has an opinion on almost everything and ze doesn't seem to like admitting they were wrong about anything.

You’re immortal. There is no death for you. At least not a permanent one. 

The last thing you remember was hearing the faint snarls of a Beast, your blade steady in your hand while people sang in a chorus of screams around you. The next? You were waking up in a coffin in the middle of nowhere to a world you no longer recognise. 

There are strange tall buildings made of glass and metal. Even the clothes the people wear and the way they speak is strange.

The world has changed. For better or for worse, you don’t know just yet. But if there is one thing you do know for certain. It’s that immortality is not the gift people think it is.

You aren’t the only immortal being that has awoken that one fateful day. The only difference between the two of you is that one comes with incredibly sharp teeth and an appetite for a specific immortal.

Artemis Van Kirk [F]  — The Immortal Asshole Rival.

Always the bitter asshole first and frenemy second. At least to you. To everyone else, she’s just a slightly defrosted and polite version of what you know.

Throughout the centuries, she’s had many jobs but right now, she’s a regular, boring history professor at Sinner’s Lament University with a streak of being impossibly difficult to befriend.

An agent of the law, Ackerman is the person they send when there’s a situation that’s a bit out of hand. And what better situation is there than people popping up dead with claw marks on their bodies?

The famous surgeon of Sinner’s Lament, Warner is practically a celebrity with a very nosy and loyal fanbase. They’re stubborn most of the time but kind, almost always willing to help.

All you needed from them was some “medical advice” but a photo of you two together surfaced on what is called “the internet” and suddenly you find yourself being watched by a herd of fangirls.

The Threads That Bind is a free to play interactive novel set within the magical world of Harry Potter. Wherein you play as a wizard that’s been transported back into the Founder’s Era of Hogwarts. Will you find your way back? Will you want to?

The Magical World is filled a variety of creatures— from fire breathing dragons to shrieking plants— that vary in terms of deadliness. The creatures, however, aren’t the only things one needed to watch out for; other magic users, the one’s with an affinity to the Dark Arts, still roamed even after years of Voldemort’s defeat.

That’s where you come in.

You’re an Auror— a police officer for the Magical World— that makes sure the innocent people of Diagon Alley, and beyond, are kept safe.

The Founder of House Gryffindor; Godric/Godria is exactly as the stories have spoken of. Standing tall and proud, auburn hair falling in gentle waves, as their green eyes observe their surroundings. Their famous sword always on their hip as they traverse through the halls of Hogwarts.

Will you tame their lion heart? Or will you get nothing but heartache for your troubles?

The Founder of House Hufflepuff; Helge/Helga is a kind hearted being that wants nothing but the best for their students— and for the other Founders to stop bickering— with encouraging words always leaving their lips. Dark brown hair, paired with hazel eyes, giving off a gentle aura that they always try to maintain.

Will you show them the loyalty they’ve always given others? Or will you leave them like the many before?

The Founder of House Ravenclaw; Rowen/Rowena is an intelligent individual that always has an air of detachment surrounding them. Raven black hair, crystalline blue eyes, and fair skin, gives them an intimidating stature that they don’t dispute. However, it’s with a select few of their students that they let their guard down. Letting their true identity to appear. Will you ever become lucky enough to see it?

Will you be able to temper their talons? Or will you only end up getting cut?

The Founder of House Slytherin; Salazar/Salazara is not what you were expecting when you met them for the first time. Pale blonde hair, slate grey eyes, and alabaster skin were not things you’ve ever heard them be described with. Their cunning mind, quick wit, and silver tongue doing well to detract from peoples attention on their looks.

Will you be able to withstand their venom? Or will you fall prey to it like many before you?

Your partner— one of the people that had been unfortunately pulled with you— for over two years. They may not have the most practical ideas but they’re more likely to work than one may think. Their dark brown eyes filled with nothing but warmth towards you— pairing well with their onyx black curls and medium brown skin tone— as they’ve often mentioned they could have never asked for a better partner.

Will you become more? Or is that all you will ever be?

The other person that was pulled along— unfortunately for you— who also happens to be the very person you had been chasing. One of the last stragglers of Voldemort’s army; Kieran/Kiera’s dark blue eyes are sharper than the simple lackeys you’ve met before. Paired with their flirtatious smile and quips, you know you have quite the time ahead of you. Especially now that you don’t technically have the jurisdiction to detain them.

Will you find out what hides underneath the mark on their arm? Or will they forever remain an enigma to you?

You know the streets are dangerous. ‘Course you do. It’s the first thing you learn here, right after how to cry and right before how to hush. Children with velcro on their shoes know it before they learn to lace them up.

Your former second-in-command, you could always turn to Alanis for support and advice, but you never truly understood how much she relied on you in turn. Now the commander, Alanis is perfectly civil to you, but there’s a quiet anger simmering in her eyes, and you don’t know if she’ll ever let herself trust you again.

Ngaio’s sibling-in-chaos, Zep takes nothing in life seriously, living on the edge and preferring to take each day as it comes. They talk tough, but Zep’s heart is as big as their personality, and they attempt to shield it by destroying themself before anyone else can. But they weren’t always like this, before you left, Zep (perhaps ironically) valued life more than anything else and they looked up to you as a friend and role model, taking delight in making you laugh. These days, they shy from your touch…after all, your touch has always had the power to destroy them.

Apathetic would be the word used most to describe Maksim. To those outside their loved ones, their remarks are chilling and cut to the bone. However, when Maksim decides that someone is worthy of their trust, they would go to any lengths to protect them. When you were their commander, they would openly declare you as their favourite ‘patient’ and often left little notes around for you, reminding you to take care of yourself. Reunited again, you expect the biting words to be turned on you, but you are surprised to hear the softness in their voice that is still present when they speak to you.

Unfortunately, due to Fynn’s height, people find him rather intimidating and tend to avoid him, which he struggles with as soft intimacy and love are hugely important to him. Although it’s rare to see, Fynn can be incredibly dangerous, he has a tendency to forget his own strength when he’s angry and will do serious damage if not kept in check. Once upon a time, you were the person that he went to for comfort, the person he trusted above all else. Now, as the second-in-command, Fynn is still sweet to you, but there’s a noticeable distance between you that he seems wary to let you cross.
