Zephite is an interaction fiction where you play as a once revered High Reaper who was deeply connected with death, even by your species standards. With a unique ability, and a fractured soul, perhaps they were correct when they said it was only a matter of time before you fell. When you commit one of the highest offences of your kind, your abilities are sealed and you are banished from your home realm of Zephite to Earth.

But when the Fates are blinded, and the very fabric of reality begins to unravel, so does your carefully constructed façade of humanity.

There’s a monster out there and it’s far closer than you think. But the real question is…

Is it more dangerous than the one inside your head?

Two main branches, with one only being accessible to certain types of MC’s.

Team up with those you used to command to discover who’s attempting to destroy reality as we know it.

Find out why your supposedly human best friend can’t quite look you in the eyes these days.

Take some time to find comfort and support in your adoptive sibling, Kaleb, who followed you from Zephite, and your newly adopted puppy.

Fight the corruption that threatens to overwhelm you or let it consume you.

Fully customisable MC (including name, nickname, gender (cis, non-binary, transgender), pronouns, sexuality (including aro/ace), and appearance (true form and human form)).

Predetermined skills include a proficiency in combat and weapons. Other skills will be determined by the reader.

Option to romance one of seven ROs, or choose from two poly relationships. Rekindle meaningful friendships, and find your family of choice once more (or destroy them all completely). The Secret RO is only romancable on one branch.

Ngaio’s sibling-in-chaos, Zep takes nothing in life seriously, living on the edge and preferring to take each day as it comes. But they weren’t always like this, before you left, Zep (perhaps ironically) valued life more than anything else and they looked up to you as a friend and role model, taking delight in making you laugh. These days, they shy from your touch…after all, your touch has always had the power to destroy them.

Apathetic would be the word used most to describe Maksim. To those outside their loved ones, their remarks are chilling and cut to the bone. When you were their commander, they would openly declare you as their favourite ‘patient’ and often left little notes around for you, reminding you to take care of yourself. Reunited again, you expect the biting words to be turned on you, but you are surprised to hear the softness in their voice that is still present when they speak to you.

A certified Gentle Giant, Fynn has a very doting nature, and those he loves could be forgiven anything. Unfortunately, due to Fynn’s height, people find him rather intimidating and tend to avoid him, which he struggles with as soft intimacy and love are hugely important to him. Although it’s rare to see, Fynn can be incredibly dangerous, he has a tendency to forget his own strength when he’s angry and will do serious damage if not kept in check. Once upon a time, you were the person that he went to for comfort, the person he trusted above all else. Now, as the second-in-command, Fynn is still sweet to you, but there’s a noticeable distance between you that he seems wary to let you cross.

It was among a thousand other comments— you had only seen it briefly in passing— but you couldn’t help the chill that wracked your spine because of it. Even through the screen you could feel the malicious air exuding from those words. The omniscient air clogging your lungs as you try to fight through the emotions that rise because of the message.

You’re able to shake it off after a few moments— people on the internet are weird after all— and get back to doing your daily routine. Your attention shifting to other things; causing the message to be forgotten.

That is until a sharp rapping on your door awakens you at close to midnight; your bleary eyes barely taking in the flashing of a badge before you’re asking to come with them. Your ears barely being able to comprehend what it was they were hearing.

You were being targeted by a person that had already killed a dozen other people— all of them holding some presence online— and nothing would stop them from getting to their thirteenth; to you.

‘Of Love And Starlight’ is a fantasy/slice of life interactive novel in which you must take on the quest of saving your club, with a custom MC, whilst battling with (or running head first into) falling in love— be it romantically or platonically —along the way.

This is, first and foremost, something fluffy and romantic— it’ll follow a story, yes, but at a slower pace as opposed to something fast and action-filled. Additionally; the poly routes, and proper development of the platonic route(s?), will be added at a later date— given that this is an inherently romantic IF I’m going to focus on that first, so please bear with me.

The blog is run primarily by me (Glitch!), but Cypher will be proofreading and adjusting my answers when necessary (it will absolutely be necessary at times, I struggle with words sometimes)— though if you want to ask either of us something specifically then just specify a name :)

I’m not the best writer anyway, but that’s probably not helped by the fact that I know absolutely nothing about code. Whilst this game functions, and does so smoothly, it isn’t the most attractive of designs. WHERES OUR STEAMY ROMANCE?!?!???—

It is here, my darling dearest. The SATYA Society is rated 17+ for skippable suggestive/sexual scenes later on when everyone is of age. In the free version, you have 2 main romances you can pursue, one male and one female. With the paid version, your romantic interests jump from 2 to 7, with 2 polyamorous routes available within the cast. No romance paths are gender-locked, but some RO’s do have preferences, and will be easier to romance as certain genders. You can set how comfortable you are with physical affection, as well, which will stop/encourage characters to hug, kiss you etc.

HOW CUSTOMISABLE ARE WE?—

I’m gonna be honest, I was definitely thinking of gender-locking your character to make things (a lot) easier for me, and I’m still considering it. But for now, your name, gender and sexuality are completely customisable. You can customise your appearance, personality and even personalise your background before coming to Stonewell Academy. Your family is prewritten and can’t be changed, but you can decide your relationship with them, alongside everyone at the school. My goal with this book was to give y’all great replay value, and I believe I’ve done just that. You can experience two completely different stories with each play through.

She manages to keep a close group of friends, however, so there must be more to her than just a catty somebody. Courtney expresses her love teasingly, rather than warmly like Isaac. (Maybe that’s why they don’t work out, haha). She is strong willed and very much an independent woman— sure, it takes a while to gain her trust, but you might have a valuable relationship with Courtney if you try hard enough. If you play as a female, Courtney is your roommate! In the first act, and half of the second act, she is dating Isaac Spence.

Mary DeSmidt is quiet and inconsolable. Rumours float around the school about how such a sweet girl could get sent to the strictest standing reform school. She is the embodiment of kindness, and always willing to lend a helping hand to you. Mary is driven by emotions, and needs a bit more time than others to handle to growing change of life at a boarding school. She also takes a little more guidance when it comes to feelings, and has a more complex romance path than the others.

Coen Day is hard to get to know. They’re always going off on their own, disappearing in the middle of class, not returning until night. Apparently their attendance rates are in the red, but Coen has always been known to run. Coen is quiet, sure, but they’re also loyal and smart. They would never share a secret of yours, or undermine your experiences and aspirations. Befriending Coen is a feat in itself, but one worth doing— Coen is the type of friend one needs at Stonewell. Coen is also asexual.

Priya Hammond is a burning fire, scorching everything in her path. She is loud, capable and Courtney’s all time best friend. Priya has been sent to detention for questioning a teacher’s moral standpoint more times than once, and is very politically inclined. She is truly gifted with her brains, but would much rather search the depths of the internet for trivial facts about a small town in Europe than study for school a moment longer than she has to. Bring up any topic around her, she will know something about it.

Laiken Allard-Rose arrives in the second act, and is Isaac’s childhood best friend. He is energy personified, always looking for an adventure to drag you along or a joke to crack at just the wrong time. Nothing is too daring for Laiken, and you’ll find that forming a friendship with him definitely includes him arriving at your window in the middle of the night to go on an adventure (raiding the school kitchens). Family is the most important thing to Laiken, and will do anything for you once you’re considered his family, whether romantically or platonically. ( i would play his romance route just to experience the dates he would take you on lol)

Jack Frost [M]

The most recent addition to The Guardians before you came along. Jack Frost is known far and wide for his laid back disposition, and his tendency to have as much fun as he can, but when push comes to shove he’d do anything to protect the people he cares for.

Appearance: Jack stands at around 6’0” with glacier blue eyes and snow white hair. His fair skin stands out against the blue hoodie that he’s commonly seen in; his trusty staff never far from his person. He always has a playful smile curling his lips. (He has a lithe physique.)

Nicholas Claus [M]

An intimidating man by all appearance, Nicholas is definitely a man that you’d assume would sooner use his fists than talk. However, he’s an overgrown puppy that absolutely adores to help people whenever he can. Just don’t get him angry— or be on his naughty list— and everything will be okay.

Appearance: Nicholas stands at around 7’2” with piercing green eyes and dark auburn hair. His tanned skin is accentuated by the various tattoos easily noticeable across his body. The hulking mass of his body hidden behind simple shirts and pants with his trusty black boots to finish the look.

Toothiana [F]

A gentle entity, Toothiana— or simply Tooth— is a sporadic woman by nature, always shifting around, but she’s always dependable whenever you need her. With an open fascination with well looked after teeth— something you’ll have to get used to— Tooth makes sure you know that you can always count on her; even if she gets distracted easily.

Appearance: Tooth stands at around 5’2” when she isn’t hovering around. Her naturally dark brown hair, when she’s shifted from her scaled appearance, falls to the middle of her back. Bronze skin causing her golden-emerald eyes to stand out that much more.

Seraphina [F]

One of your closest advisors, and friends, Seraphina makes your job that much easier whenever Valentine’s Day rolls around. Her attention to detail and quick wit making everything much smoother. Even if she’s a little rough around the edges, mainly when it comes to other people, you couldn’t imagine having anyone else by your side.

Appearance: Seraphina stands at around 5’6” with dark brown eyes and onyx black hair. Medium brown skin being accentuated by the pearly white apparel that’s common among the individuals within your employ. Her slender, almost delicate, body hiding a hidden strength.

Pitch Black [M/F]

One of the greatest nightmare the world had never seen; The Boogeyman in the flesh. Pitch Black had been nothing but a whispered rumor for years before their return. You don’t know what caused their disassociation with The Man in the Moon, but it’s clearly left a permanent scar. Will you be able to show the embodiment of darkness that love isn’t impossible for them?

Appearance: Pitch stands at around 6’2” with sapphire blue eyes, with specks of gold, and raven black hair. Pallid skin, that almost has a grey hue to it, stands out against the dark clothes— and the shadows— that they’re commonly seen in. Their lithe body has a muscular quality to it.

Devil of a Time is a low fantasy Lovecraftian interactive fiction. You play as a well respected official in your not-a-cult charged with protecting the younger members all while completing your final year of your university degree.

The last thing you remember was hearing the faint snarls of a Beast, your blade steady in your hand while people sang in a chorus of screams around you. The next? You were waking up in a coffin in the middle of nowhere to a world you no longer recognise. 

There are strange tall buildings made of glass and metal. Even the clothes the people wear and the way they speak is strange.

The world has changed. For better or for worse, you don’t know just yet. But if there is one thing you do know for certain. It’s that immortality is not the gift people think it is.

You aren’t the only immortal being that has awoken that one fateful day. The only difference between the two of you is that one comes with incredibly sharp teeth and an appetite for a specific immortal.

— Become friends with a literal demonic eyeball, cause a bar fight or two and evade some people who are hellbent on having you as their latest test subject. Oh and maybe come across a few dead bodies.

Artemis Van Kirk [F]  — The Immortal Asshole Rival.

Always the bitter asshole first and frenemy second. At least to you. To everyone else, she’s just a slightly defrosted and polite version of what you know.

Throughout the centuries, she’s had many jobs but right now, she’s a regular, boring history professor at Sinner’s Lament University with a streak of being impossibly difficult to befriend.

The famous surgeon of Sinner’s Lament, Warner is practically a celebrity with a very nosy and loyal fanbase. They’re stubborn most of the time but kind, almost always willing to help.

All you needed from them was some “medical advice” but a photo of you two together surfaced on what is called “the internet” and suddenly you find yourself being watched by a herd of fangirls.

She’s weird but nice. Has a Russian blue cat who always seems to be at every corner.
