Nightmares Marvus x Reader

Heart trying to escape out of your throat you sat up in your bed breathing hard. For a moment you could still hear the sounds of the alarms on your little rocket ship blaring in alert as you crashed into Alternia’s surface. But as you began to wake more you realized you were safe- Alternia long behind you. Trembling from adrenaline you shakily threw off your blankets and slipped out of bed. Your legs felt weak, fawn-like as you wandered out of Marvus’ guest room. For the life of you, you couldn’t figure out what had triggered the nightmare. It had been years since that night, you weren’t even on Alternia anymore. Trying to calm yourself you stumbled into the kitchen and took a seat at the island. It was nothing. Nothing at all. You had experienced much worse than the shuttle crash since then and came out on the other side. Out of all the nightmares you had had since then it baffled and frustrated you that the crash was the most frequent of all. Behind you was the shuffle of feet and you nearly jumped out of your skin as you turned to find Marvus shuffling into the kitchen.

“Hey lil buddy was up?” He asked tiredly, voice gravelly from sleep. Guilt over waking him nearly choked you.

“I didn’t mean to wake you.” You spoke softly.

“Nah, don’ worry bout it. What’s wrong? Y’look like you seen some shit.”

“It was just an old nightmare. Nothing I can’t handle.”

That just made Marvus frown as he came to sit beside you, dragging his stool close enough your knees brushed.

“Wanna talk bout it?”

“Not… Not really.”

Marvus sighed, reaching out to lay his hand on your leg in a soothing gesture. His thumb rubbed at the exposed skin, his cold hands remarkably grounding as you fought down the shivers of phantom panic.

“I know I ain’t yo diamond or nothin’ but you do be knowin’ I still care bout you right?”

“Of course.”

“But you still don’ wanna talk bout it.”

“Its an old nightmare Marvus, comes back up every once in awhile. But its over now. That’s what matters.”

“Still hurtin’ you somethin’ fierce though.”

“Marvus.” You sighed. He glanced away with a clear scowl before shaking his head.

“I don’ like seein’ you this worked up. ‘Specially when there ain’t a damn thing to do bout it.”

“I know. I’m sorry for waking you.”

“Don’t.” He spoke voice surprisingly firm, you glanced up at him to find him staring at you intently, almost angrily, “Don’t apologize. I don like the thought of you jus’ hidin’ away til your thinkpan’s on straight. Ain’t right.”

“People have nightmares all the time.”

“Yeah? Well you ain’t jus’ people to me.”

You could feel the tears burning at your eyes, the stress of your nightmare rearing its ugly head. For a brief moment it was as if the deafening screech of metal was all around you again. Taking a deep breath you placed your hand on top of his.

“Thanks Marvus.”

His other hand came up to carefully wipe the tears from your eyes. Movements gentle as his thumb caressed your cheek.

“What can I do?” He asked after a moment when the tears just kept coming.

“I don’t…” More tears welled in your eyes blurring his face, “I don’t know.”

What a terrifying thought. The realization you didn’t know what would make you feel better at all. His hand brushed across your cheek again, then past it until he was carefully cupping the back of your head. He tilted you forwards as he leaned down until your foreheads were touching.

“That’s okay. Lemme jus’ take care of ya.” He spoke, voice soft. He tilted away from you to place a kiss to your scalp. “Don’ worry bout nothin’.”

A shuddering breath left you as he deftly moved to lift you into his arms, wrapping your arms around his neck you buried your head in his shoulder. Tears were burning at your eyes, trailing down your cheeks more insistent than before as you wrapped your legs around his legs.

“I’ve got you. Ain’t nothin’ gon’ get you tonight, babe.” Claws rubbing soothingly up and down your back you allowed yourself to cry openly. Sobbing without restraint into his shoulder as he carried you back to bed. He wouldn’t shush you, the comfort he offered was different than what Polypa offered as your moirail. But it was more than you expected to receive and genuine. So very genuine. You knew he’d cleave the world in two if you asked and it terrified you as much as it soothed you.

But tonight you could admit that it was what you needed. To know you were safe, to know you were loved, it was enough.

Come Get Her

18+ explicit nsfw.

Sweat was trailing down your back, breaths coming out in pants as you writhed against the sheets. Marvus leered down at you and laughed as you couldn’t help but whine. Your hands were tied tightly above your head, the pillow underneath you keeping you at a delicious angle that had your thighs burning and back arching.

“C’mon lil mama, I know you can take it.” He purred, rubbing slow and agonizingly at your clit. A cry left you as he gave it a light pinch and your hips bucked involuntarily. “Aw, purrbeast got your tongue?” He teased. You might have said something if you were even capable of thought. He’d kept you like this for what seemed like hours, just there barely on the edge and nearly crying. With a smirk he scooted down your body until his head was between your thighs. Your breath was punched out of your lungs as he buried his face in your pussy, tongue shoving straight in and lips wrapping around your clit. If you had the breath you might have screamed as he gave a hard suck and seemed to eat you out like a dying man, that long tongue twisting inside you with the same precision as his bulge. Jerking in your restraints you openly sobbed the pleasure far too much. You were so close to cumming your legs were visibly trembling. Which was of course the moment he pulled away from you, lips and chin slick with your cum and licking his lips as he panted.

“What’s the matter babe? No one pail you dis good before?” He grinned as he trailed sharp claws down your outer thighs before grasping you by the knees and abruptly bending you in half. A small squeal left you at the rough treatment and you stared up at him with wide eyes as he got comfortable. Placing your ankles on his shoulders his eyes raked over you hungrily.

“Don’ be hidin’ any noises from me baby, I wanna hear ya scream.”

“Marv-,” You cried out, nearly screaming as he thrusted forward, bulge stretching you roughly as he bottomed out. He gave you no time to adjust as his bulge squirmed inside you, freezing cold and huge. His hips ground against yours and it was all you needed to cum- wailing and shaking as if possessed. Marvus hardly let up, just continuing to use you to his heart’s content as you wiggled and thrashed from overstimulation. Had you known what jealousy would do to him you weren’t sure if you would have still ignored him like you had tonight or given him your full attention.

“What’s that baby?” He panted hand coming up to keep your leg from sliding off his shoulder, a bead of sweat trailed down his face and dripped from his chin, those eyes dark with lust, “C’mon, lemme hear all those sweet sounds jus’ for me.” The purr in his chest vibrated against your leg as he hiked your hips up with a rolling thrust and a firm grip on the top of your knee. You shuddered and squeezed around him as your back arched.

“Fuck, please-,” You cried voice failing as his bulged rubbed roughly against your g-spot.

“Please?” Marvus prompted teasingly. You shook your head eyes closing as the pleasure kept building. A hand wrapped around your jaw and forced you to face him, giving your jaw a little squeeze he released it to trail a heavy hand over your neck. “Gotta tell me what you want lil mama.”

“Don’t stop, don’t stop, don’t stop-,” You were growing incoherent, the starts of another orgasm already building up and overwhelming you. The hand still resting lightly over your neck tightened briefly and you gasped. Staring up into Marvus’ face, free of his paint and flushed a dark purple as his fangs caught on the plush blackness of his lower lip when you squeezed tighter around him, you could only watch as he leaned more fully over you. Putting more of his weight into his thrusts as he leaned down and caught your mouth in a filthy kiss. His teeth caught your lip and tugged teasingly as he pulled back, still close enough to feel his breaths against your cheeks.

“Love seein’ you all worked up sweet thing. Gonna keep you like dis for a long time yet.” He promised. Dread, lust, and anticipation pooled low in your stomach and made your second orgasm all the more intense.

Out of all the friendsim hcs I have, the one that gets me SO bad is that Tagora and MSPAR each consider the other to be their best friend, but Tagora still puts on the “just business partners” act in front of people for the sake of “professionalism”

like, he’ll be wining and dining a client and MSPAR will wander out of the bathroom in a fluffy bathrobe and go get a drink from the fridge while Tagora’s like “ah yes, that would be my business partner. say anything and they’ll never find your body. now, back to the contract...”

Home pt. 1

(part one of the Home series)

There was something peaceful about getting away from things for awhile. Something relaxing about being able to put life on the back burner even if it was just for a day or so. It was what had drawn you to the ramshackle cabin in the first place. The abandoned home was remote and unimpressive. A sort of thing your eyes could sweep over and miss if you weren’t careful. To say it was love at first sight might have been a bit dramatic but... It was nice to have a place to go where no one would look for you. Most had simply seen a money pit- and in a way it was- but you had seen a project. Your interest had started small, it made a beautiful photography set, and that was where your interest deepened. From there you had cleaned up the surrounding area, pulling weeds until your hands were red and sore, snapping pictures of the little well pump your had uncovered. Then you had wanted pictures of the porch. But the porch was falling apart and certainly not as photogenic as you would have liked. So you simply asked a few stores in town if they had pallets they wanted to get rid of. Surprise, surprise, they did. That was how the porch got new steps and boards. You had used some left over stain you’d found in the attic with an excuse of needing it for a photoshoot. An easy half truth to keep. No one in your family asked a single question, they were well used to your antics.

It didn’t occur to you how deeply invested you were into the cabin until you used the many needed repairs as a way to vent out your frustration. Somewhere along the way you had become wholly attached to the abominable thing. The cabin was your little secret, a place that only you seemed to know of. That seemed to become useful as you watched your family life fall apart at the seams.

Your sister was getting married, something you were excited for, even your parents were excited. Until they learned to who- or rather what- your sister was marrying. A young dwarf woman who looked at your sister like she hung the moon. It hadn’t even crossed your mind that your parents weren't as enthused with your sister’s happiness as you were. That night had led to one of the biggest fights you’d ever seen. Your parents tried everything to convince your sister to break off the engagement to no avail. She loved her fiancée. In the end she had packed her things and left. What your parents didn’t know was that you helped her. She had asked you to come with her and while you regretted not doing so, you had a plan. The cabin was slowly coming along and while you still needed to buy some much needed appliances it wouldn’t be long. It might not have been ideal, the cabin was off grid after all, it would certainly do in the pinch you were in. So you put extra hours into your job and buckled down for the long haul. You wanted to be out of there before the wedding and your sister was going to get a wedding present even if it killed you. She deserved at the very least that much.

You were close to your goal. All you needed was a fridge to replace the busted one and then you could focus on some bare necessity furniture. At the moment you were working a late night shift at your new job, you had to juggle two if you wanted to meet your deadline, and going over your mental checklist. After you bought that fridge you would need to buy a bed first. Having something to sleep on was important, especially with your two jobs. Once you had that set up you could begin sneaking your things out. It was best not to alert your parents to what you were doing. Who knows how they’d react...

“(y/n)?” You nearly jumped out of your skin. Turning swiftly you found your coworker- one of the mothpeople- staring at you in concern. Their hands were clutching each other as they stared you down. You smiled reassuringly.

“I’m fine Azar, no need to worry.” He seemed to think it over before nodding slowly.

“Alright then. If you are sure.” Giving him another reassuring smile you nodded. You liked Azar, he was slow to warm up to others but once he did he was very kind. It might have had to do with his appearance, he was a death’s head moth with a very punkish fashion sense, not the most friendly looking person. But you found out soon enough that once someone extended an olive branch in his direction he latched on with all four hands and didn’t let go. You were glad to have him as your friend.

Once again you were lost to your thoughts as you closed up that night. Azar had offered a ride but you had apologetically declined. When everything was all set up you’d take him up on the offer. But until then you had to focus on the goal at hand. Though you still felt bad for declining the offer.

Lucky Shot Part 2

His claws tapped a restless rhythm along the table, purple eyes flicking over towards the door to the guest room he’d had specifically refurbished for his little alien. They were sleeping, still under the effects of his chucklevoodoos, oblivious to the rage Marvus was barely restraining. He’d tossed his blood soaked jacket into the wash the sounds of his first two victims screams still ringing like a pretty chorus in his ears.

But that still left the last violetblood.

His insignia inlaid in the obnoxiously gold harpoon. A perfect target printed on his back. It was better than anything Marvus could have asked for.

“Why did you use your voodoo on them?” Polypa asked as she exited the guest room, her eyes narrowed accusingly.

“You know how lil mama be actin. If I didn’t they’d be up tryna walk it off.” He replied staring her down. Polypa stared back, the two of them not backing down as they locked eyes.

“Don’t do it again.” Polypa finally responded as they both broke eye contact. Marvus shrugged it off.

“Is what it is.” He replied before motioning to the harpoon, “This was stickin’ out they shoulder. Figured you should help a mofo out with the last one if you catch my drift.”

“Where are they now?” She asked, sliding into the seat opposite from him.Her olive eyes were narrowed in contempt as she observed the harpoon with an assassin’s keen glare. Marvus’ glare curled sharp and twisted in reply.

“They jus’ a lil lamb for the slaughter.” He hummed, “Don’ even know we comin’. The violet blood usually hangs out at the docks.”

Polypa gave a grim little smirk in response.

“Then lets pay our target a little visit.”

Your head felt like cotton as your conscious struggled to the surface, blearily opening your eyes you once more found yourself waking in Marvus’ guest room. Unfortunately, everything still ached fiercely when you awoke this time as well. Groaning groggily you slowly forced yourself to gingerly wiggle into an upright position against the frankly ridiculous amount of fluffy pillows. Who needed this many pillows? It was like a weird version of princess and the pea. Glancing around the empty room, your stomach sank at the thought that Marvus had gone to hunt down the perpetrators. Worry for your friends overrode everything else as you attempted to reach for the blankets to toss them off only to give a hoarse and breathless shout of pain as hot agony pulsated from your shoulder at the gesture. It knocked the wind from your lungs as you wheezed, eyes wide and teary. With a slam the guest room door banged off the wall with the force it was opened and there she stood in all her olive glory.

“You’re awake!” Polypa shouted, rushing to your side in an instant. Her comforting smell of popcorn and metal filled your senses as she gingerly wrapped her arms around you.

“What are you doing here?” You croaked, throat dry and scratchy. Polypa grabbed the glass of water by your bedside and pressed it to your lips.

“Drink slowly,” She commanded, “Marvus called me as soon as he found you.”

Her worried gaze warmed you as you greedily gulped down the ice cold water. Breathing heavily as she pulled the cup from your lips you gave her a small smile.

“He did?”

“He did.” She confirmed, taking a moment to fuss with the bandages on your face.

“Where’d he go anyways?” You asked.

“Just to toss some of his things into the wash.” She replied, her fingers trailed featherlight against your face and you leaned into the soothing touch. Pressing her head to yours Polypa sighed in relief to see you in recovery. “Don’t scare me like that again. I don’t know what I’d do if-,” Her voice choked off before she could even finish saying it and you shushed her gently as you pressed your forehead back against hers soothingly.

“I’m here.” You murmured, “I survived, its okay. Deep breaths Polypa.”

She sucked in a shuddering breath and wrapped her arms back around you, careful to avoid jostling your injured shoulder. With a heavy and grateful sigh you leaned into the comfort of her hold and closed your eyes.

“I thought I lost you.” She croaked, voice raw with emotion.

“I’m right here. I promise I’m not going anywhere.”

“You better not, who’s gonna stop Tegiri from insisting we watch Troll Naruto again?”

That dragged a laugh from the both of you.

“We seriously need to find him another anime to obsess over.”

“Yeah.” Polypa buried her face in your chest and you could feel the damp spots begin to form as she cried. Shushing her, you wrapped your uninjured arm around her shoulders and hunched over her in an imitation of a hug, gently swaying side to side as she broke down.

“Hey, hey, its okay. It was just a lucky shot.” You murmured. “Just a lucky shot…”

Home pt. 2

(Part 2 of the Home series.)

Dead on your feet did not describe you at that moment. You were well past that mark, swaying ever so slightly as you stood, at this time of night the store was almost dead. Only a few other people were milling about, most of which were nocturnal. At the moment you stood in the hardware aisle. You needed more bathroom tiles. Luckily it was only a small spot but you wanted it done before any water damage could set in. But the tiles you needed were out of reach on the top shelf. You had told your parents you were stopping at the store for a new shaving razor- and you were- but your main reason was the tile. It would take away from your fridge budget but even so all you needed was one more check. The thought of having such a big part of your renovations done had put you in such a chipper mood you hadn’t even complained about the double shift one of your bosses had forced on you. Though now you were beginning to see a problem. It was going to be dangerous climbing up the shelves in this state but you needed those tiles.

“(Y/N)!” A voice called out causing you to jump from surprise. Azar stood at the other end of the aisle with a basket hanging neatly from one arm. He looked just as surprised to see you as you were to see him.

“Azar? Hey.” You smiled tiredly. The surprise melted to concern the closer he came to you. It might have been the bags under your eyes.

“Are you alright?” He asked, his antennae flicked about in concern. For a moment you found it incredibly endearing- and distracting.

“Yeah just a double shift y’know?” Your laugh sounded only slightly defeated. Azar frowned and grabbed the tiles you had been staring at.

“Is this all you needed?”

“Yes, thank you.”

“You can thank me by letting me take you home. There is no way you can drive in your state.”

“I walked-,”

“Even more concerning. Just let me do this alright? I’ll sleep better knowing you didn't pass out on the sidewalk or got jumped on the way home.”

You bit your lip. On one hand you didn’t want to walk home. He had valid points on that front. But on the other you knew your parents would throw an absolute fit if they saw him.

“Listen Azar, I’d love that but-,”

“No buts. I am going to take you home.”

“Yeah, okay, but-,”

“(Y/N). If the thought of me knowing where you live makes you uncomfortable I’m alright dropping you at the end of your street. I just don’t want you to walk all the way home when you are clearly exhausted.”

“It’s not that Azar,” You sighed, shoulder’s slumping, “It’s my parents. They’re very... Traditional.”

You could see the moment he realized what you meant. At first his face went carefully blank and then his whole body went taut with what you assumed was anger.

“So you have to sneak around behind their backs? That is no way to live!”

“I know but I’m working on it. They already kicked out my sister, she was lucky she had a fiancée she was already semi-living with.”

“Do you have a place to go if they do kick you out?”

“Sort of?” You dragged out sheepishly. Azar sighed.

“I won’t pry. Just know that if push comes to shove you can stay at my place for as long as it takes to get back on your feet.”

You stared at him stunned. Was he really willing to do that for you? It nearly made you cry with relief at having a plan b that didn’t involve crashing with your sister and her wife. Instead you simply nodded and allowed him to lead you towards the check out. The cashier raised a brow at the two of you but didn’t ask questions, just rang you both up and sent you on your merry way.

Azar dropped you off two houses down from your own, waiting until you had given a wave from your doorstep before he drove off. Fortunately it seemed your parents were fast asleep and you happily snuck up to your room. Closing the door softly you pulled out the tile and stuffed it into the bottom of your hiking bag. The less questions the better. Next week was pay week and the thought followed you to bed. Next week was the break you needed. Soon you’d have a fridge to stock and the only major purchase you’d have to make after that was the bed. Everything else could simply be moved. Your parents couldn’t have you arrested for theft if you only took what you had bought in the first place. Yes, once you had the fridge and the bed you’d be home free.

Mors Speaks

One of these days I'm just gonna go feral and write self indulgent X Reader fics of my favs but Marvus simps are still here and must be fed. They are appreciated deeply but this is not a Marvus only blog and I am one free moment away from screaming into the abyss about my favs. Which probably won't get as many likes or reblogs but they're self indulgent for a reason lol. But worry not because I am always taking requests and asks for writing especially because the ideas thrown my way are serotonin in these crazy ass times.
