This is such a black and white argument holy shit. I have to rant about this, peeps.

You know how comforting it is to finally get to see a gay person on the big screen? You know how comforting it is to see a disabled person, trans, colored, fat on the screen? Comfort! Easy as that!

You know why some proshippers take their favorite characters and ship them? Comfort. You know why some like to race bend their favs? Comfort! You know why some like to put them into horribly dark situations that they hate IRL? Comfort!

Of course, not to mention the 30 page essay I could do on the process of censor ship. Because at a time, there was a point where only Men of those categories could be on the screen! When a women was needed, they'd just get a man and make him be the girl!

If fiction doesn't affect reality, then why do we need representation. why don't want just make every character in every media from now on a white cishetallo abled neurotypical man and nothing else.

I *would* since I did find out mildly from him as well, but he's weirdly 'anti-woke' and so I wasn't entirely comfortable adding him.

Guys let's spread around content creators who follow Proship ideologies so we can have a positive outlet and find more creators that won't randomly make us pull out our hair :D

I'll start with two:

ColeyDoesThings - Her whole channel is talking about fanfiction and AO3. She's very open about the fact she's ship and let ship and antis complain a LOT about the fact she is. Supportive of Wincest and Mpreg although I can't remember if she personally likes them.

Manlybadasshero - He's said he won't stop playing The Coffin of Andy and Leyley even though people are upset about the incest. He doesn't agree with the harassment the creator has received and agrees that the worst thing a game can be is boring. (To see that just watch his TCOAAL playthrough, he says it much better himself!)

Yippee guys, I'm currently making an indie show about those OCs I mentioned once a really long time ago, not the heros the other ones.

There is a deep rooted part of me that wishes to make an 'Anti' tumblr blog, where I do what I do here but anti style, gain a bunch of followers and stuff, then make a final post saying 'Sorry guys, i am a proshipper now. This space makes me miserable." And end it on that.

I was kinda with it until I found out the person complaining about the correlation was an anti and I realized that

oh no, oh dear god no. They think that shit is real. They think stalkers are limited to shy cute people who respect boundires. They don't realize stalkers can be bad people. Oh no, they think stalkers are just shy people with a crush. Oh God, when they think stalkers they think someone who peeks at their crush behind a corner with a love letter only to quickly run away red faced when their victim looks over at them. Oh God, they played Yandere Simulator and said 'This is realistic besides the killing and kidnapping part.' oh God, they think Fiction is realistic.

I....I have absolutely no words. Like I can't even process this shit. I am fucking so god damn baffled. Like is this just antis being hypocrites? Something I've noticed is that in fictional settings, a character being completely iredeemable and ignoring someone's consent is completely okay...unless sex is involved. The second a character is a pedophile or rapist, then anyone who likes said character is completely disgusting and fucked up and gross. But a character is a stalker? Well that's fine because "90% of stalkers are uwu shy baby boys that need protection".

Now, finally, one last guy- You! *Grabs* You will respond to the emoji people describing what makes the above characters problematic! Maybe you could say something simple and common like 'Oh yeah, 🍖 🌈 and 🕕🫚are cousins!" It could be something that isn't actually problematic, but Antis make it problematic like "🐝🫶 and 🎆〽️ are best friends from childhood!" Or you can go really specific like "😔❤️ is a teen shota/loli who just got into sophomore year and 🫚🕕 is the gym teacher who is also actually their aunt/uncle who is abusive and grooming them." Just take something problematic to antis and SLAP it onto the emojis. K?

Now finally, it will be up to ME- Or you know, anyone else who just gets a creative spark from the prompt- To draw them! I'll probably make a mini reference sheet, I'll draw them to their lore! I'll maybe draw them into a normal couple! I'll maybe name them idk, and best of all? I'll perchance write them their own lil story and background and shit! Yay, yay, yippee! Then we can all gather around and laugh and feel amused.
