A looooong time ago (6 months ago), I created a character with vitiligo. Only, I didn't fully understand how vitiligo worked. I knew of the loss of melon, I knew of the extra spicy sunburns, and I kinda knew something about the eyes getting bad. But for some unknown reason, I assumed that it could work in reverse.

I created a character who had hyperpigmentation Vitiligo. This does exist! But not in the way I made it. So recently after finding out that Uncle Rufus from the Bondadooks was lying about revitiligo, I decided 'Oh shit. I gotta fix my boy!'

So I changed him from having hyperpigmentation to universal vitiligo, did my best to change every bit of misinformation I had in his bio.

Before when I had the information wrong, people (antis) praised me for my representation. Now that I've updated the bio to be more accurate, I am being told I didn't have to create a character whose sole purpose was to be whitewashed.

Man, I either live knowing I was horribly misrepresenting a group and getting praised by those who don't have it or I live being harassed for whitewashing a character who was white from the beginning by people who don't have it.

I *would* since I did find out mildly from him as well, but he's weirdly 'anti-woke' and so I wasn't entirely comfortable adding him.

Guys let's spread around content creators who follow Proship ideologies so we can have a positive outlet and find more creators that won't randomly make us pull out our hair :D

I'll start with two:

ColeyDoesThings - Her whole channel is talking about fanfiction and AO3. She's very open about the fact she's ship and let ship and antis complain a LOT about the fact she is. Supportive of Wincest and Mpreg although I can't remember if she personally likes them.

Manlybadasshero - He's said he won't stop playing The Coffin of Andy and Leyley even though people are upset about the incest. He doesn't agree with the harassment the creator has received and agrees that the worst thing a game can be is boring. (To see that just watch his TCOAAL playthrough, he says it much better himself!)

You hear this Fujoshis and Fudanshis? We have our proper mascot.

Basically every artist and/or writer over the age of 25 is proship.

Sorry to break it to you, but the creators of your favorite shows, comics, and video games are most likely all proship.

Your therapists and psychologists would be considered proship. Your school teachers would most likely be considered proship. Hell, most of you have parents that would be considered proshippers.

The mass majority of people can understand the concept of a fictional story being harmless. Antis, you're the minority.

This! And so many people against shipping seem to forget that Creek (Craig x Twerk) was legit made canon because of proshippers shipping them. Yeah, it was made fun of at first because it was inherently a crack ship.

But then you see how they KEPT them canon because they liked it too! Idk man, making two 10 year olds get into a loving relationship seems kinda proship ngl.

Not to mention the legit episode they had where they specifically dissed censorship as a whole.

I have no clue how antis can like shit like south park. Have we watched the same show? 😭 in one of the season 2 episodes cartman falls off a bull and thinks he’s a prostitute and i can probably talk about more shit in episodes of the show. matt and trey don’t gaf what people do on the internet, i can tell antis for a fact that they would both not care what people do on the internet. And aren’t they anti censorship? 😂 they have their own lives and family they do NOT care i think they could probably care less.

Saying this and i’ve seen antis complaining about the same stupid crap and during my hinge watch i got to that S2 SP episode, it is an episode in a fictional show with a fictional child and jokes like that happen a lot. and It is just funny at this point at the stuff i keep seeing antis say

How I'm gonna look to antis soon:

I was suddenly reminded of how often my past therapist would encourage me to write. Good stories, bad stories, she even wrote some stories with me in a more roleplay esc way (never the bad stuff because she was an adult and I was 14, we would just write about a grandma who go super strong.)

She told me to write about my feelings and she told me to write about my experiences through digital dolls. She told me to write about my digital dolls finally being super happy.

I'll let ya know one thing, I was happier then and I am certainly happier now that I'm not an Anti.
